Hey! I was wondering if you could edit one of my stardew headcanons to include vi and odie.

Basically, Robin forces Sebastian to take up a babysitting job for a 5 year old who's parents have just moved into town. Except once he gets there, the parents drive off, only leaving the kids belongings. Sebastian has no choice but to take the kid home. Once Robin gets over the initial shock, she's glad to have another kid around for when Maru and Sebastian inevitably move out. Demetrius pays no attention to the kid or Sebastian and doesn't help at all. Maru helps where she can, like whipping up a robot nightlight for the first few nights.

I want to know where you think other villagers and vi and odie fall when helping the kid.

oooooh i like this headcanon!! thats really cute!! but also kind of tragic poor kid. i love to think that maru is a huge fan of kids esp because her and penny are dating and/or are in the crushes phase (IM A HUGE FAN OF THEM OKAY) so she and penny definitely help out <3

okay for odie and vi, vi's personally also a huge fan of kids, so she takes an immediate liking to the thing and attempts to persuade haley to help her babysit sometimes, to act as like their translator since the kid probably doesn't know sign and vi can't really talk to them. odie will try and help sebastian sometimes, because i think odie and seb would be friends. for sure! so he's mostly the one to go over and help out with sebastian i think

odie has dating experience!! in fact the reason why he really doesnt want to like alex is that his one singuloar dating experience did not slay at all. it was genuinely very traumatic to him and he hated it. vi on the other hand has no dating experience at all!! she is far more than used to crushing on people all the time lolol

i would say that alex is pretty good about odie's Past Relationship. he doesnt force anything onto odie and makes sure hes comfortable :) haley pretends to be like "ewww you've never dated? no wonder" when vi tells her but shes seriously like "LETS GOOOOO"

and youre totally right. alex laughs when vi says shes never been in a relationship. haley is absolutely in shock when odie says hes been in a relationship. she does not believe it for a while

odie would major in some sort of biology/medicine course, and vi would major in some form of engineering!!

no its completely fine, sure can!! i have their farmer files here, and they have portraits of them, buuuuut those r kind of old and from when i was trying to figure out at first what they look like. i'll update it sometime in the future! in the meantime feel free to ask anything else you want to about them~~

number one is vi! she's the younger of the twins, and the more social despite the fact that she's mute! both she and her brother are entirely fluent in ferngill republic sign language (which is kind of just auslan because i am australian and i might take a uni course on it when i graduate), and she dresses like an old person bc she gets all her clothes second hand from their father. she loves looking fancy and doesn't get all dirt covered because she doesn't do much of the actual farming. she's more of a miner and a rancher

here's odie! he's always cold, and loves wearing turtlenecks like his number one evil nemesis kurt hummel LMAO. he is the main farmer, so he's the one getting down in the dirt, usually wearing darker clothes to try and hide all the stains. he's the quieter (ironically) of the twins, but he's also vi's translator, much to his chagrin, which is why he starts helping penny teach the villagers sign. his clothes are not as old fashioned, but that's mostly because he picks them out himself lol

in terms of music tastes i dont think vi has any specific ones. i think she just listens to anything and everything. actually better hc since she has a little ipod (or whatever the sdv equivalent is, fucking...z-pod or something) she probably hands it to someone randomly and is like hey stick some songs on there

so her music taste is built off of everyone else's

odie listens to kpop. this is a rule. he's a massive twice stan and red velvet also. he knows the dances and he is GOOD at them also

if vi could sing she would sooo serenade haley...mostly with ed sheeran songs 😭😭 she plays guitar so it checks out. haley will never tell anyone but she is SUCH a sucker for whenever vi starts playing thinking out loud its not even funny
