#i actually was so fucking sad when i told laurentius his trainer was in the swamp. that killed him. my one friendly companion#it was my first time playing the game and i trekked though that laggy blightown and was invaded by a player#who must've met the requirements to have quelana spawn. and how could i have known it would've led to his ruin. how#oddly though in that instance of losing an npc i loved i remember that experience so much more keener#this is all years before i found how to enjoy these games. my first experience with ds1 was not. not great. i'm glad i still have that copy#in some weird way i feel you need to hate these games before you can love them. i felt strongly neutral to against nier and#my eventuality is i kinda love that game dearly now. it took time. i had to come back to it later
