I require. A nap. I’m very sleepy. I have almost passed out like three times.
…But Rook Hunt and Octavinelle are living rent-free in my brain right now and I just imagined Rook fretting a bit over me being so tired, carrying me to bed so I rest and giving me kisses on the head, while the OctoMafia worry about their friend who Cannot Sleep Apperently bringing me tea and being like “we love you please take a nap we will bring you Mostro Lounge treats for free just sleep for like an hour p l e a s e” and I CANNOT NAP LIKE THIS-

‘SUP EVERYBODY I DREW PEARLE COLTEL BECAUSE I LOVE SHE
And yes, this is how I both 1) show off her design (mostly her spooky Halloween one) and 2) tell you she ended up in Octavinelle with neither of her brothers after that last fic rip to the Coltel family you all got spilt up
It’s probably a poor choice to show her off in such an achromatic outfit when she has pale grey hair and in such a messy sketch, but regardless, I actually like how she turned out! Pearle is a major cutie and I do think she looks nice here. The octomafia is definitely on Edric and Sterling’s watchlists though…
ALSO I AM FINALLY CAUGHT UP!!! HECK YEAH;;;; ONE TWSTOBER POST PER DAY NOW

a humble request- please sort the twst bronwens by their likeliness to fight. this is great lore which gals throw hands
FHFGGFHGFHGVHGVHGHGVHG- I can’t believe that Ignihyde Bronwen started such a wildfire, lmao XD but sure! They all are very similar, obviously, so they’d only fight in self defence but this was really fun-
-THE RANKINGS- (in order. +danger/difficulty ranking)
Counsellor Bronwen - Shocking since she’s a teacher, but Bronwen has to step up when Crowley’s going on vacation and students are overblotting. Honestly it’s less her personality, and more the fact that Counsellor Bronwen is a trained magic user who can and will fight for the safety of her students. She is ready to throw hands and/or spells at the drop of a hat, if it keeps somebody safe. 10/10 danger rating, she is willing to fight but don’t fight her. You’ll regret it.
Heartslabyul Bronwen - The only tsundere among the Bronwens, also most likely to throw hands- or, more specifically, magic. She has gotten into several magical duels and a also canonically yeeted spells at Cater several times for flustering her. She would (much to Riddle’s dismay) be the most likely student Bronwen to fight somebody. Yes, even more than Ignihyde. 8/10 danger rating, she knows her spells but is younger- thus less experience.
Ignihyde Bronwen - As we know, she has canonically thrown hands- well boots. She, like all Bronwens, dislikes confrontation and is slightly more avoidant than tsundere Heartslabyul Bronwen. Also, having dealt with the morons in her first year, she’s fed up with mistreatment from other students already. Plus with her heavy as hell murder boots in her dorm uniform, Ignihyde Bronwen is a bit of a force to be reckoned with. 9/10 danger rating, would be 7/10 but points were added for death boots, and also because if you try and fight her Leona may or may not kill you.
Pomefiore Bronwen - She doesn’t want to wreck her nails and get a earful from Vil, so she will not throw hands, but she knows spells and will throw spells at you in a duel. Pomefiore has also particularly nurtured her more gentle and kind traits, so she is more avoidant than some of the others. 11/10 danger rating though. most from Bronwen’s own magic skills, with points added because Vil will hear about it and poison your lunch, Epel will most definitely throw hands over your attempt, and on top of that you’ll end up on Rook’s bad side which isn’t recommended… (he intimidates so much of the cast for goodness sake, it’s a terrible idea-)
Nurse Bronwen - Nurse Bronwen’s about healing, not fighting. Her unique magic (What Once was Mine) is even specfically built around healing others. She deals with the aftermath of fights, and doesn’t participate in them. The only time she’d end up in a fight would be if somebody’s overblot, and even then, she wouldn’t do very much and focus on treating injuries and evacuation. Divus is also pretty protective of her anyway so she’d a bit shielded, as he is also aware she knows more healing magic than defensive magic. If truly necessary, though she will throw hands.
Octavinelle Bronwen - Octavinelle Bronwen, as established, will not throw hands unless she literally has to in order to prevent herself or a loved one from getting hurt. But she has the second highest danger rating, at a solid 20/10. This is because all of the Octavinelle trio will be very interested to see why she’s upset, and won’t be happy about how their friend was treated. So unless you’re prepared for the entire octomafia seeking revenge on you for The Babey, I wouldn’t recommend it. Also because you’ll highkey make Trey upset, and while not dangerous, Doodle Suit will make all of your food and drinks taste like garbage for a solid week.
Diasomnia Bronwen - Boy, she doesn’t even need to throw hands. Diasomnia Bronwen is perfectly capable but she’s freaking Malleus’ girlfriend, she is under protection at all times, even when she doesn’t realize it. Plus, even if you somehow put her in enough danger where she did need to fight, she’d probably try spells to subdue the person first (like sleeping curses) rather than an actual duel or fight. In short? She won’t. Like, 2000/10 danger rating though, do NOT fight her. You’ll get prank-ambushed by Lilia for months for making the girl who he sees like a baby sister cry, Sebek will lecture you every single time he sees you, and Malleus? Yeah, you’ll have a real reason to be intimidated by him after that. Just. Don’t. It’s such a bad idea. There’s a reason it doesn’t happen.

SO I kinda wanted to post my TreyWen self insert, who is in Octavinelle, so I thought it’d be cool to just kinda do that now! This insert also has a particularly big focus on her friendship with Floyd, since they both work for Azul in general and in the Mostro Lounge, and of course are in the same dorm.
The hat looks horrible on me so I went with a bow instead XD also a skirt because I said so, and the lil scarf thing she kinda has resting around her elbows all dramatic-like. Plus fun fact; Bronwen is the shortest member of Octavinelle, lmao. Floyd and Jade are both 6’3, Azul is 5’7, and Bronwen without heels is 5’3. With them she’s maybe 5’5. There is a good reason why Floyd has a tendency to call her ‘little shrimp’ and ‘guppy’. IT’S BECAUSE SHE’S TINY T_T
Bronwen is kind of the Octavinelle member that nobody really understands how, or why, she was put there. She entered one year prior to Azul and the twins, and the then dorm leader asked if she was in the wrong place, also stating that this was supposed to be an all boys school. Bronwen was promptly taken to Crowley, scolded for lying on her forms (she used Bronwyn as her first name, using the traditionally masculine spelling of her actual given name, and replaced her actual middle name with Llyr. To further push the image, she wrote her preferred name as ‘Llyr’ on the form, since that name is exclusively masculine. This was among other changes, including a magically altered photograph.) but she begged to stay. Crowley said that, if Bronwen was able to force two wizards to cooperate and take down a monster outside the school- a task previously seen as impossible due to the prideful nature of the students- within three days, then she could stay. Bronwen actually managed to do it, and she was given a spot in Octavinelle- with this uniform and all other necessary outfits comissioned and given to her.
She meets Trey within this first year there, as they’re in the same year and the same class, but while they become friends nothing much happens intially between them.
When Floyd, Jade and Azul arrive, Bronwen has already been there for one year. She ends up instantly connecting with Floyd, who is actually surprised that the school has a female student; so he starts off asking about how she even got there, finding it really interesting that an exception was made. Her crazy story ends up leading to them meeting up pretty much every day and becoming great friends. Due to her association with Floyd, Bronwen ends up being associated with the rest of the group, which leads to her helping out in the lounge at the same time as them and affectionately nicknaming those three ‘the octomafia’. Floyd takes to calling her ‘little shrimp’ and ‘guppy’ though because she is smol, so the nicknames go both ways lol. She actually kind of becomes the Octavinelle sweetheart without intending to, and with Floyd as her best friend in the school, he ends up pretty protective of her and later calling her ‘koi-chan’ (like koi fish). It’s also not surprising to get a “visit” from Floyd if you end up hurting her feelings, so she ends up not being one to be trifled with herself- not to mention that she is good with magic herself, not one to be messed with as is. She is in NRC, after all.
Eventually her relationship with Trey starts to develop more as they spend more time together, with Trey even beginning to frequent the Mostro Lounge just so he can see Bronwen more often. This, coupled with a shared love for baking, leads to Bronwen asking Azul if she could collaborate with Trey to make sweets for the lounge; basically, a test run to see how the sales fair. Azul agrees to this, having tasted Bronwen’s baking himself already and knowing it’s very good, which ends up leading to Trey’s confession to Bronwen. Needless to say, there are several questions when Bronwen comes back to the lounge that day glowing brighter than the sun… Floyd and Azul may or may not give Trey the “hurt her and we will kill you” talk
That’s basically it! I hope you like, I’m super fond of this drawing myself ♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎

okay but i have to know after ignihyde bronwen stomping on a guy with her boots… did octavinelle bronwen fight anybody this is critical information
GFFGFCGFFGGFGGFGGFGFF- I mean. I guess you are technically right but still- L O R D;;;; But to answer your question;
As far as the student body is aware, Octavinelle Bronwen is not the type to get her hands dirty for the octomafia, and people are kinda too terrified to be mean to her anyway. Ignihyde Bronwen acted in self-defence and basically has murder boots to help her out, but still doesn’t like confrontation so she only lashed out to defend herself.
Octavinelle Bronwen, being Floyd’s best friend, is basically left alone on that front. People know if they mess with her, they get squeezed by Floyd- and nobody wants that. As a result, Bronwen is indirectly terrifying because if you make her cry or are otherwise mean to her then Floyd will pay you a “visit” pretty fast. So, she’s never actually be in a situation like Ignihyde Bronwen- thus she’s never had to fight anyone. She, too, hates confrontation and making people upset so she’d avoid a fight anyway
She could though, if she wanted, it’s just that she’d never need to lol. Being friends with the Octavinelle boys, especially Floyd, Octavinelle Bronwen is quite well-protected regardless of her own fighting ability (non-magical or otherwise) XD
In summary; Octavinelle Bronwen could, theoretically, fight someone. She just doesn’t need to because Floyd does it for her. The lesson is don’t make koi-chan cry
