So I’ve been tagged a couple of times in these yo these gratitude posts, and I would very much like to contribute. 

(I just came to my attention that a lot of these will be Encanto related, so just keep that in mind)

@immabethehero basically for being my biggest fan! It was you who helped me join that awesome discord where I’m able to interact with a whole bunch of other Encantados (that’s what I’m calling the fan base), so thank you for finding me a home.

@silvercdeer and @papermachette for introducing me to a more adult side of Encanto, and not making me feel weird about it. Normally, these types of story ideas and fan arts always made me feel awkward because it was based on a franchise that’s meant for a younger audience, but your introductions to Jose and Chepe proved that dramatic inspiration can come from anywhere. Also, silverdeer did an amazing job on my OC Sombrerón, which further inspires me to write that story! 

@sketchnwhatevr for being just an awesome storyboard artist. Your Encanto fan art is so uplifting and expressional that it brings a smile to my face. Every time I see your posts. I loved writing that gift fanfic for you and I hope you continue to inspire me.

@prophetic-hijinks I will never forget when I first saw your comic on Tumblr. I instantly loved your style, and I loved your original character, Elena Ruiz. @cheetee you have such a great imagination! Your gift shop story has really got me on edge and I can’t wait to see more of it. You also introduced me to “100 years of solitude“ which is not the easiest read, but I’m glad I’m sticking with it.

My Encanto Villain OC, El Sombrerón! A couple of gifts/commissions done by my good friends @silvercdeer, @prophetic-hijinks, and @blairaptor, all with their own OCs!

I can’t take full credit for his creation on account he’s based on a Colombian folk figure, but my take on him is he’s the man who killed Pedro Madrigal the night the Encanto was created. The candle cursed him and now he’s a living wax figure who has a vendetta against the Madrigals. He “feeds” off candlelight and uses the memories from the flame to absorb information. His only companion is a shadowy smoke creature named Diablo who can shift into a horse, pair of dogs, flock of birds, anything to serve his master!

I would like to see people’s OC’s please.

Just a quick reminder, Gustavo “Gus” Pinheiro is my OC I created for my fic The Precipice (that you can read here!). He existed before the Lethal Amigos, and Gustavo’s canon story is still being written and updated while I also help contribute LA stuff.

Chepe makes appearances in the fic because I met @papermachette after publishing it and we got to be friends, and she let me use him in the story as a side character. We started the Lethal Amigos with @my-gunpowder and @silvercdeer after that, but that’s why Chepe was in the preview I posted - he’s also canon in the fic

Just wanted to clear up any confusion ☺️
