it has occurred to me that i have not introduced a few of these OCs yet to my knowledge but it’s ok. just pretend u know what im talking about.

i saw a steven universe thing for this like twice now (i dont even. watch that show but whatever) so i decided to do this for my OCs

here they are. my children. my 16 children, excluding my HoK (who i dont have a good picture of), ohtehil’s ex bf + bosmer aranoth, and then mijia, my OG dragonborn khajiit. (both of which i dont have on this computer :/)

since she’s a vampire (not gameplay-wise bc i dont have the special vampire gamepack ghufdgfudhg) i make her wear that goofy garden hat whenever she’s outside in the sun without any shade gfhfghjfhfjf

i also have decided she likes to garden in her spare time which is incredibly inconvenient for a vampire but we’re not going to take that into consideration. her actual canonical version has the same hobby except she wears a hood more often and she mostly gardens nocturnal plants.

yes, . .. my snelf . .. .. i love her so much. she is my OG. well, not my OG, my OG is mijia, a khajiit from when i first played the game, but when i got back into TES (through ESO), the first character i made was rye bread, and then i made her in skyrim.

to run through her backstory very briefly. she’s an immortal vampire snow elf who escaped the dwemer and roamed for years avoiding the threats that wiped the majority of the falmer out until she came to realize that she’s one of the last; leading her to become desperate in trying to preserve her culture and society and revive it. mortality became an issue and she forced herself to become a vampire for extended life.

she lives for years, traveling across tamriel in search of any remaining Falmer and trying her best to recover all that was lost to mostly no avail. the jist of her traits is that she’s melancholic, studious, dignified, contemplative, reserved, and dedicated. that’s what i have on her character page so far, at least.

she’s an active WIP because lore is complicated and it’s hard to work on such a long-living character. she’s fucking ancient. like. 3,800+ years. if iirc, she’s around the same age as the tribunal? that fucks me up like on the daily. wow. what tf

phobias: going into dwemer ruins is a major struggle for her, and while she disregards her fears in order to recover falmeri artifacts and all, the Betrayed are also very hard to face, so she tends to be very, very cautious when delving into ruins. she avoids them as much as possible and tries her best not to kill them. this caution increases upon finding gelebor and him introducing (she knew of this possibility but never thought it to be too likely) the idea of the Betrayed being communicated with.

guilty pleasures: she likes cocoa. she really doesn’t have much of a sweet-tooth but cocoa reminds her of her childhood plus it’s pretty damn good. i HC that vampires do lose a lot of their taste for things over-time due to not NEEDING to eat food to live (only blood) which is a shame but ryvrinei likes to indulge in it when she canshe also has an unusual knowledge of dogs. she’s a dog person.

morality alignment?: i wasnt sure on that so i took the quiz in his character; he got chaotic evil haha. but the runner up was the one i had guessed prior; chaotic neutral. EDIT: bruh three months later i just realized that i forgot to fill this one out for ryvrinei and i kept it as the answer i gave estryon lmao. i’d say ryvrinei is lawful neutral

sins - lust/greed/gluttony/sloth/pride/envy/wrath (this was hard bc while she isn’t flawless she doesnt align precisely with any of these that much, at least after millennia of being immortal and alone without any contact to any of her friends or family. that humbled any remotely “sinful” traits she had.)

introvert/extrovert: introvert but she has her own share of moderately charismatic skills. years of being in moderate isolation from a lot of social contact dulled them, however.

calm/anxious: she’s generally quite calm, all things considered, but as i’ve stated her years and years of lonely immortal life left her a bit… off. not in a negative way, overly, but she’s not as emotionally stable as she once was. she’s still good at containing her emotions but once you get her going it’s hard for her to stop. AKA typically, dwemer ruins are a rough experience all around (but then she met serana! and she doesn’t become dependent on her so-to-speak but the presence of a friend/wife helped to an unspeakable extent. while with all my other OCs, the events of skyrim fucked them up, i’d say ryvrinei got the most positive things from it out of all. she finally wasn’t so alone oh wow i am Tearing Up)

leader/follower: leader, naturally. she’s intelligent and intuitive and has the skills for leadership, and in addition to that throughout her later, immortal life, people turn to her due to her experience and years.

empathetic/unemphatic: empathetic but immortality led her to view life and all a bit more… coldly. for lack of a better word. more neutrally. she isn’t overly like (ESO) seht but (she’s my Clockwork City Hero, she went through that whole experience) when they met they saw eye-to-eye on a lot of ideals and viewpoints, which makes sense, given their similarity in age.

optimistic/pessimistic: years and years of no luck in finding other Falmer and years and years of unsuccessful expeditions and research led her to be more pessimistic than she once was

traditional/modern: she adapts well. modern. but she has a lot of the ethic and ideas that you would expect from someone born in the first era

ot3: i have,,, NO clue., you have to understand that i dont have many friends at all, so that projects onto my OCs, so it’s very hard for me to think of any more than a handful of friends and acquaintances for them. that is. very pitiful.

brotp: gelebor/ryvrinei and estryon/ryvrinei! initially, ryvrinei went through the dawnguard DLC alone and with no involvement from the last dragonborn, but i’ve decided, in order to jive with the small portions of the dawnguard DLC that rely on the existence of dragonborn powers and capability; ryvrinei accompanies estryon and serana on the final portion of it all, starting when the DB first meets gelebor, as ryvrinei found gelebor prior to the DB’s arrival. so that gives ryvrinei a reason to meet serana, meet estryon, while also knowing gelebor.you would figure estryon’s abrasive personality to clash with ryvrinei’s… better personality lmao but quite the opposite. they somehow worked well together. i think estryon liked the way ryvrinei saw things and meeting such an ancient and experienced mer such as ryvrinei led him to try and tone down his brash and rude tendencies. serana and estryon’s remote friendship took a bit of work, however.

wait ok im confused

i think i talked a while back that it didnt make sense how ryvrinei took so long to find the chantry of auri-el and therefore gelebor (thousands of years.); nevermind. this thread has cleared up a bit. not sure how much is canon but i’m taking that shit as canon because it’s reasonable. i dont know how i didn’t know/realize this prior but the chantry was not the original-- it was built in response to the massacres as the falmer were dying off (or rather. being killed). so it makes 100% sense that ryvrinei made it without being informed of the new chantry, and wouldn’t know where the fuck it is until she stumbles upon it after thousands of years of wandering and research.

is that.. true though? i feel like a dumbass. was the chantry of auri-el built after the atmoran shit started? (and as someone in the thread said, perhaps there would’ve been a more central and larger one built in skyrim that was destroyed) or are the people in the thread not 100% basing it off canon? either way im accepting it as canon. it works with my oc verse and it makes sense.

I have some possible ramblings (unless I decide to shut up/that im too tired to ramble any more) coming up about Aetiliva and being the Daggerfall Covenant Hero so I’m going to take the opportunity to also ramble on about how the whole “multiple vestiges” thing works in my canon, along with the alliance questlines, etc..

I know some like to have one character doing everything, or a complex timeline thing to explain multiple vestiges and questlines, so this is just my own canon or grasp of what we’re told.

There’s only one Vestige that is involved with the Five Companions and defeats Molag Bal. However, there are multiple around Tamriel in the sense that they had their soul stolen and they’re now on Nirn.

In regards to all the questlines, the Coldharbour vestige is involved with one alliance and whichever DLCs I see fit (Kallalon) while every other questline, including the other two alliances, has whatever characters I choose go through it.

So (I may not have introduced all of these characters ever, sorry):

Kallalon: Vestige that defeats Molag Bal. Aldmeri Dominion hero, Summerset hero (with the help of his brother), Elsweyr hero.

Ryvrinei: Clockwork City hero.

Drecenil: Thieves’ Guild.. person.

Iirelilme: Silencer of the Dark Brotherhood.

Tsoxinei: Ebonheart Pact hero.

Aetiliva: Daggerfall Covenant hero, possible vestige, but not *the* Vestige.

Arnaer: Morrowind hero.

All OCs left, with the exception of two (my ancient Dunmer OC and my Dwemer), are involved with at leastone of these factions and their storylines in some way.

(ex; all of my AD race characters are involved with the Aldmeri Dominion, whether as an ex-AD person or current AD person)

i’m making some changes to what i’ve previously said of various OCs. you can’t count the amount of plot holes, contrivances, and weak points in my OC verse and while i’m not in an OC mood lately anyways aside from maybe ryvrinei... oh well. i figured to fix it. i wrote all of this late last night and im really not willing to proofread it right now so i hope it’s coherent enough. if it sits too long in my drafts i’m going to forget it exists and never post it.

i previously had that ohtehil, after deserting from the thalmor, disguised herself when residing in whiterun (which, IIRC, was implied in-game to apparently be a safe-place from the thalmor-- sort of. in which. they don’t seem to be allowed in? forget which quest and all) through various shit, which included dying her hair black. we only see a few black-haired altmer in ESO, which leads me to headcanon that while it is possible, it’s not common. which is... fine. but does not make sense if you’re trying to blend in as an average, totally-not-wanted by the thalmor altmer in skyrim, which has a small altmer population to begin with. i’ll try different colors out on her disguised, post-desertion version tomorrow, but either way, her hair color will be changing. im thinking an auburn or something? just a shade of ginger. her hair prior was platinum blonde. anything that is different enough from that yet doesn’t draw attention would suffice.

this is not really a change but just a clarification. i’ve stated ryvrinei is a dog person and has a immortal dog herself based on a particular husky mod (garm. but i need to do changes to fit it more into the lore)-- and then also said she liked cats. she likes both. she did have a moonlight senche tiger during the time of ESO but it... did die. eventually. or maybe not, if i decide to somehow make it so it’s immortal because i’m a pussy and the idea of pets dying makes me sad. but. yes. ryvrinei. dog person, but also very much likes cats. both. both are good

estryon, after a certain array of events combined with his mental state in skyrim for a while, would make the decision to adopt two kids. human kids. not one immediately after another, but yes, he does it. he is my character and i say he would so he would. great. fine. but, with the personality i’ve mentally built up for ondolemar, ondolemar would not stand that. i don’t think ondolemar is a frothing bigot who’d hate the idea of adopting human children but even that aside, obviously getting a kid, nevermind TWO, is a lot.. i just have a hard time believing he’d be the type to agree to adopting two whole ass kids even if estryon wished. and estryon wouldn’t wish, at least in so little time. estryon still adopts lucia and sofie respectively. but-- i’m changing when he does in my “timelien”. this all will also change when i settle on a time that ondolemar and estryon do actually get together in an actual damn relationship, but estryon does have sofie by that time and before that. he adopts her well into the skyrim main questline, assuming that that questline would realistically last months. the chain of events and thought processes that lead estryon to full-on taking a nord orphan in windhelm under his wing is the embodiment of “it’s a long story”. my first thought as to where estryon kept sofie when he was away was in dragonsreach-- a demand met with SOME protesting from those already residing but estryon has his ways of convincing, which includes both glared AND literal daggers. ha, ha. anyways, ondolemar eventually gets with estryon. he does not find out about sofie until a startling amount of time into the relationship which causes a reasonable amount of early difficulty. a few years past. they have a nice manor. dragonborn happens, a couple years after dawnguard. estryon is so fucking done with skyrim and being the stupid thane of stupid fucking whiterun but it eventually hits him that lucia is still an orphan in whiterun and had been the entire time, by then around 13 or so, and he feels bad-- but doesn’t wish to adopt her at that point. he did adopt sofie, but that was rather impulsive and at a weak mental point for him, plus he’s not the biggest fan of children. considering he is thane of whiterun however, he tries to remotely do something involving his city for once in his damn life and takes it upon himself to try and find someone in the stupid fucking dusty city that would take the kid in. no one. long story short, he then adopts her. great. sorry for the long tirade but i just wanted to put that all down for the first time. but yes. that’s... hopefully a bit more elaborated on now. because it too confused me how two ex-thalmor would end up goddamn adopting TWO human children in the span of a few years.
