Tola had been acting suspicious for days. Ysayle had said not to worry about it, but Sidonia couldn't help but worry. After all, Tola did have an uncanny ability to blow things up without ever really meaning to.

"Sidonia!" Tola appeared, as she often did, with little warning, nearly making Sidonia jump. "I have a gift for you!" She said, hands held behind her back.

"Before you give it to me, is it going to explode or burst into flames or emit poison, or cause any other type of harm?" Sidonia asked, wanting to be sure before she accepted whatever it was Tola had made or found for her.

"No, no, no, no," Tola ticked off, grinning widely. "It's special. I made it for you myself." She pulled her hands from her back to reveal a necklace. The chain was polished and well crafted, but where would normally hang a pendant, instead there lay a bone. "It's from the first thing we ever killed together! It's been on my necklace, but I wanted you to have it." Tola explained. Sidonia felt her chest fill with love, and she accepted the necklace, affixing it behind her head with practiced fingers.

"Thank you," Sidonia bent at the waist to kiss Tola. "I promise, I'll wear it always."
