Plot Summary: A rogue genie, Xanadu is seen as a menace, causing more harm than good. And when her bottle falls into the hands of Amanda Bellows, her mischief and trickery continues, until she develops feelings for the woman who released her, wishing to free her from her stifling marriage to Alfred. But even her power has limits and she cannot grant a wish that she has influenced her summoner to make, so she has to wait for Amanda to wish it on her own, to leave him and choose her.

Plot Summary: On a trip abroad, heiress Crystal Newman comes across a beautiful, ornate green bottle. Naturally, she wishes to bring it back with her to display in her home. The merchant insists it’s not for sale. It’s a family heirloom. But Crystal drives a hard bargain and ends up purchasing the bottle. When she gets home and dusts it off, she’s surprised to find that it contains a genie. But this genie is still bound to her former master, so Crystal is going to have to deal with joint custody or find a way to get her out of her contract. While she doesn’t need a genie to live comfortably, Crystal grows fond of her companionship and doesn’t want to give her up.
