8- What is the origin of their personality? And let's be honest - how much of it is projecting?

the origin of his personality is. me. because he was originally a self insert. i mean he had my name and everything. it’s 100% projecting and i’m not even sorry

10- What is their main character arc in the story? Where do they start and how do they develop? Do they get a happy ending or is their story a tragic one?

he doesn’t quite Have a character arc per se bc he’s. in the style of comics. and nothing ever sticks in comics. but over his years he develops mostly from a scared and angry little kid who doesn’t know how to control his powers to a fairly confident vigilante. and then he gets kidnapped and tortured and he can’t BE a vigilante anymore but it winds up okay!! he works with SHIELD and the X-Men and all of them where he can and he learns to live a happy and fulfilling life with his disabilities and setbacks.

17- Are there any motifs or symbols associated with the character? How are they represented, in their design, personality or in some other way? (this one is my favorite aaaa)

i actually really like this one! if you’ve seen any amount of my drawings with him, his vigilante outfit/Riot is him wearing blue and his Wilde outfit is him wearing red. usually i’ve seen blue-coded/colored characters be the more reserved/anxious/quiet/sad ones and red the opposite (loud and angry and chaotic etc) so i wanted to switch it up. Wilde as an identity is the more calm and reserved personality, and Riot is the loud, silly, angry version of him.

also in this vein— in the few instances where Wilde’s brainwashed/being mind-controlled and things like that, i usually draw a crosshair(like in a gun) somewhere in that image. the crosshair motif is a biggggg one in Heartrender (wilde’s winter soldier arc)

Triboulet: Born Hellennarr Cycnus in a realm of pure shadow, as a teenager he was almost fatally attacked by bullies. He ran into the woods and met a sentient doll who turned him into her harbinger of murder. Assuming the name Triboulet and becoming a monochrome jester, Triboulet wandered the world killing to show his loyalty to the Doll.

During this time, he destroyed a school, killing everyone inside, including the teacher and her husband. The teacher was killed but the husband came back as a ghost, and he vowed to bring back his wife. He and his 2 children discovered powerful artefacts that gave them godlike powers.

They started a God War in an attempt to resurrect the teacher and destroy the neighbouring kingdoms. The husband and his elder son were killed in war, but Triboulet alongside his new companions killed the youngest son, Triboulet whispering the name of his dead mother to the son as he killed him. Currently in game Triboulet is trying to learn empathy and is failing spectacularly, but he does love his companions in his own fucked up way.

Agerico: Originally a silver sword christened Clouddrake, he served alongside Sir Sethlans in defending the city of Neverwinter from any and all threats it faced. After 30 years of duty, Agerico was born, created magically when Sir Sethlans' company faced off against a powerful mage.

Agerico was suddenly a human, with nothing on him but a scrap of his master's cloak and insignia. Ever since, he has been searching for a way to become a sword again, as he wishes to return to his master and serve again. However, unbeknownst to Agerico, Sir Sethlans is trying to stop him, as he thinks "killing" Agerico is immoral.

Heyo! This is part 2 of bringing my posts from Instagram to Tumblr! Once again they're Genshin Ocs. These are older and therefore have even worse outfits than the previous ones.

Like I previously said, I couldn't find outfit inspo for Sumeru and Liyue so beware! It's not that culturally accurate!

Okay, first we have the oldest and the first oc I made!

This is Abeni, a 5* Hydro Polerarm user from Sumeru.

At the time I made her, I couldn't figure out which land Sumeru represented so I got inspired by Nilou and some other Genshin OCs I saw online.

Abeni is a very cheerful, positive, and calm person, just like Jiangguo from the last post. She lives to explore the parts of Sumeru where she's never been before, and would also like to go to Liyue and Mondstadt but doesn't want to be alone on her journey.

Although she's positive, she's horrible at making friends because she always stutters all over the place and can't hold direct eye contact all the time. (+ she's insecure)

Abeni is a part of the adventurers guild and always looks for an opportunity to explore or do commissions. She also takes any opportunity she has to go and see Nilou dance, Abeni adores her! She says she's everything she'll never be.

Next we haveeeeeeee-

Lukas!!! 5* Pyro Polerarm user from Mondstadt!

Lukas is the best friend of Abeni! They met when he visited Sumeru for a week.

Lukas has been everywhere in Teyvat, Liyue Harbour, Inazuma City, Aaru Village, you name it!

He's fearless and kind! Lukas might seem like a cheerful cute guy from appearance but when Abeni or anybody else he cares for is in danger, he'll get serious!

Abeni always wanted to travel with Lukas but was always too scared to ask him, fearing that he might reject her request.

Even though they're the complete opposite from eachother, they're still together and in love! Plot twist! (Not really)

The 3rd oldest character is, Victoria!

4* Anemo Bow user from Mondstadt.

I literally wanted to scrap her halfway but eventually gave in and used the ibis paint x preset effects and enhanced them. For some reason, the bloom effect always looks bad with green and yellow

Because I wanted to scrap her, I didn't bother giving her much story or anything.

Victoria is a very calm person who rarely smiles. She also works for the adventurers guild and her hobby is hunting.

Since I didn't really think much of her, I just made her a sort of blank (?) character.

And the last Genshin OC so far that I've got to present is, Jay!

Jay is a 5* Electro Claymore (I think) from Mondstadt!

So, Jay was actually inspired by my irl best friend that picked all the traits. I can't remember what weapon he chose but I think it was a claymore. Oh and I used ibis effects again. Sorrryyy-

Since it's supposed to be my friend, I'll just describe him!

Jay is a liar. He blames others for his mistakes and just won't give in that he's lying. On the other hand, he's pretty funny. (Sometimes)

Jay is also pretty short, and by short I mean he's just a little bit taller than Triboulet.

Okay, that's it for the characters! I also made weapons for them sooooooo

Decided to make a little cleaning among my sketches/doodles on IbisPaint and... Would you know it, apparently, I have a bunch of oc doodles from 2020-2022 that I didn't post/forgot if I posted those in here for some reason– Huh

Also, I just figured that Ally had so, SO many more outfits than she has now. But, eh, that's what you get for becoming more symbolic, I suppose xd

Christmas Jester!

For this holiday he has dressed up accordingly! Even changed up his makeup! Oh- what is he holding? A mistletoe of course! He'd like to have a small smooch on his cheek if that isn't too much to ask for! Just joking- you can simply boop his nose instead and be on your merry way!

Though he might later ask again~ (totally not a hint on upcoming extra doodle about this)
