Wrote a little intro as if Taliira was an origin character. Inspired by @commander-lariel , @angrygoatwoman , @dujour13 , and @turbulentpumpkin43

A massive spider stares up at you with bizarrely intelligent eyes, skittering back a few steps before it begins to transform. Legs meld into its form, eyes disappear, it stands upright and you soon find yourself staring at a drow. Her skin is near-black and her hair is a beautiful silver, her face decorated with a tattoo mimicking a tree. Her eyes are striking, a deep red that seems to be slowly fading to purple. She shields her eyes from the sun and gives you a slight bow. She's dressed in a simple chain shirt with a holy symbol of Selune around her neck.

"Please, I've no desire to harm you. Just leave me be." She shrinks away from you, her voice quivering in fear as she steps back into the comfort of some nearby shade.

As your eyes meet hers, the tadpole writhes and squirms, overcoming you with visions. Images flash through your head. A tangled web of intrigue, beautiful women and fine food, a life full of pleasure yet so hollow. A ray of moonlight pierces it, giving clarity, peace, and regret. You see through her eyes, desperately fleeing a black city into a starry sky that finally brings relief.

The drow cautiously steps forward before shrinking back into the shade. "You're infected. Like me. And..." She shakes her head and steps out again. One hand shades her eyes while the other reaches out to shake yours. "I am Taliira Mel'thaal. I know what I am, but I'm not a monster like most drow. I'm trying not to be, at least. Would you permit me to come with you in search of a cure? I'm finally free of Menzoberranzan, I'd rather not tarnish this freedom by becoming a mind flayer."

The fear in her eyes mixes with hope as she fully emerges from the shadow, glancing around like a skittish cat. "T-thank you, I'm indebted to you. I'm quite eager to actually see and learn about the surface, but how do you stand this light? Ah, it doesn't matter. Shall we go?"

Did a thing for Taliira, gonna be my character in BG3. I'm excited to play her! She recently broke out of the Underdark and is trying to become a better person.

13. Do you have a favorite character from the Underdark? Is it the same as your Character's?

I am now realizing that I have not actually finished Act 1 and I have not been to the Underdark yet.

19. Did your Character spend a night with a companion either the night of the party or earlier? Is it someone they have a continued interest in?

Taliira spent the night with Shadowheart, then both were joined by Karlach (not in game). She is very interested in both and wants to keep seeing them.

38. Did your Character meet Barcus Wroot? How's he doing?

Taliira saved him from the goblins at the windmill and assured him that she wasn't going to enslave him, but she hasn't met him again.

18. How did your Character deal with Wyll, Karlach and Mizora?

Taliira was immediately a little bit smitten with Karlach, and even if she wasn't she believes very strongly in not judging people by appearances and was eager to let Karlach join her group. She also treated Wyll well, reassuring him that his pact doesn't make him a monster and being understanding about it.

23. What are your Character's thoughts on the dream visitor?

Taliira has heard enough people whispering honeyed promises of power and salvation to know better than to trust blindly. She doesn't believe a thing the dream visitor says and is assuming she's the result of the tadpole messing with her head.

28. Did you recruit Scratch the dog? Did you encounter him at all?

She did. Taliira is still getting used to having an animal companion with less than eight legs and is still very enamored with how fluffy he is, but she adores him and talks to him often.
