random fact about afhiri uwu for some odd reason, no one know why (fae bullshit), they dont have to care for and oil their horns like other tieflings do ! they are just fine !! for some reason (fae bullshit)!! :D

random fact back: nedryna does not know how to cook. she used to eat raw meat and vegetables before the tadpole lobotomy (just #bhaalspawn things). she used to think gale making stew was weird

5. Do they have any siblings? What’s their names? What is their relationship with them? Has their relationship changed since they were kids to adults?

She has an older sister named Drastea, who is a priestess of Lolth! Their relationship has never been good. Drastea is several years older than Nedryna and she always felt more like a nagging mother to her... especially because she always put high importance in being nothing but the best, adhering to societal rules and meeting all the expectations she had for her and Nedryna was...always a disappointment.

I'd say as adults it just got even more tense, not helped by the fact that they rarely see each other since Drastea's priestess duties keep her occupied.

16. Do they collect anything? What do they do with it? Where do they keep it?

She was raised to be a rather practical person so she sees no point in collecting or keeping items that don't serve a purpose! If anything, she collects arcane books or scrolls that she finds particularly interesting!

37. Do they like to read? Are they a fast or slow reader? Do they like poetry? Fictional or non fiction?

One of Nedryna's hobbies is reading, and she has been an avid reader since she was younger! She's an intellectual so she devours books especially those related to arcane magic or ancient history and religion.

She'd never read poetry before but now she has to hang out with Gale, who is known to try his hand at poetry if he's had a good glass of wine at camp so yeah. An acquired taste.

42. What are their goals? What would they sacrifice anything for? What is their secret ambition?

She's always been a very ambitious person, comes with the family, especially being always second to her sister. She is, however, pretty smart, so she won't do anything irrational even if it'd get her closer to her goals (for example she doesn't trust Raphael when he offers to get rid of the tadpole for her).

She secretly wishes to travel across Faerûn, learn more about magic from different cultures and broaden her knowledge of the world rather than stay in the Underdark like it's expected of her, but she knows that's what she's meant to do.

3. Did they have a good childhood? What are fond memories they have of it? What’s a bad memory?

Nedryna's childhood was....well, she'd say it was "the regular" if you asked her. She doesn't have many other references so since it was all she knew it wasn't anything out of the ordinary. It was not particularly happy, however. Her older sister was already a priestess by the time Nedryna entered her teenage years, and she always felt like she was trying to compete against her, something that was impossible.

She's never been a social person so she has no fond memories of hanging out with people her age, she mostly spent her free time training or studying. A particularly bad memory was when she foolishly grabbed her mother's favourite sword to practice and accidentally dropped it into the Darklake... the punishment for it was not something she likes to remember.

8. Did they have pets as a child? Do they have pets as an adult? Do they like animals?

Underdark fauna is not the kind you'd keep as a pet if you knew what was good for you, so Nedryna's experience with animals is... very limited. She'd never been topside before her encounter with the Nautiloud, so every animal she finds is most likely to be the first one of their species she sees.

She develops a great fondness for cats, but she'd never admit it out loud.

21. Do they have a temper? Are they patient? What are they like when they do lose their temper?

Nedryna is NOT someone you want to mess with. She doesn't have an explosive temper, but don't let that fool you... if she gets annoyed enough by someone she doesn't hesitate to let them know...in a less than pleasant way. She wasn't used to people defying her back in the Underdark, so when people topside like to make things difficult she gets easily annoyed.

She's very cold when she loses her temper, more than likely stares them down with her red eyes and most of the time that's enough to intimidate them.

22. What are their favourite insults to use? What do they insult people for? Or do they prefer to bitch behind someone’s back?

She doesn't bother with insulting people, she's not petty enough for that. The greater insult, to her, is to simply be ignored. If she doesn't like someone she will simply pretend they are not there.

26. How do they act when they’re happy? Do they sing? Dance? Hum? Or do they hide their emotions?

Nedryna does NOT know how to express her emotions in a healthy way, especially positive ones. If she's happy about something, chances are nobody will even notice. She is, however, less moody than usual and at least doesn't scowl as much, so there's that!
