#oc: moy’va

Finally finished this digital piece of my oc!

Her name is Moy’va

pronouns: she/her

age: 31 (as pictured here, 4 years post cw/15 BBY)

personality: Moy’va is a defender at heart. She is a warrior who will protect the people she cares about at all costs. Outwardly, she seems very cold and harsh. She rarely smiles and is often perceived as intimidating. Inwardly, however, she has a lot of fear of losing people she loves (again) and keeps herself very guarded/struggles to open up to people because of that. She doesn’t socialize very much, so when it comes to casual or friendly conversation, she is pretty clumsy. Family is her number one priority and she would do anything to protect her children and spouse.

background: Moy’va was originally a farmer on Ryloth. She has two children: Brocca, her daughter, was born 22 BBY and Luce, her son was born early 19 BBY. She tragically lost her husband during the empires rise to power in 19 BBY. She took her children and fled Ryloth, heading to the outer rim and taking odd jobs to support her and her kids, trying to avoid the empires new rule. Around 15 BBY she ran into Rakshe (they/them), a humanoid working with the a rebel cell (and who is immediately smitten with Moy’va, despite Moy’vas attempts to be critically off putting). They were there as part of a rebel relief program (thanks organa) and helped return Moy’vas kids after they got lost. They get to talking and Rakshe offers Moy’va a place in the rebellion before they leave. Moy’va doesn’t accept at first but gets in contact with the rebellion several months later. Moy’va establishes a solid relationship with Rakshe (they’re married your honor) and work to raise their kids the best they can in a war torn galaxy <3
