WIP WEDNESDAY!

WIP for my friend Zay's - @panpanicatmha - birthday!!!

Mirial looks over at her favorite patient, watching the way his colors flow around him. She knows that he doesn't have much longer (they're dull, even through her glasses) and she knows he knows it, too. "You should tell them, Izuku," Mirial says quietly on her rounds. She sits by his bedside, watching eyes eyes turn to her slowly. "You won't be able to hide it much longer." "Kacchan's seventeenth birthday is in a couple months, Mirial, I can't just-" "Your body's struggling to keep you afloat right now, and you know it's only going to get worse. You can feel it, Izuku, I know you can." He shrinks back from her harsh tone, sinking into the hospital bed. "... You can't control when it'll happen. They love you, and you love them, and that is enough."

i saw ur invitation to tell you about my OCs-

my fav MHA oc is a canadian-japanese woman named Mirial Joss.

quirk: vibe check. (basically a diagnosis by looking, but in auras. idk how to explain lmao)

she was born and grew up in south canada/northeast US and speaks four languages (english, french, japanese, and hindi from a Dare from her bff in grade school)

she wears bandages around her neck and upper body to hide scarring from an accident when she was nineteen. she's a nurse. she's sarcastic and she has blue and blonde hair and glasses that she commissioned special to help her handle the input from her quirk. i love her.

she's appeared in one of my fics so far for ten minutes but i want to write a slightly longer version of it in which she's a key character lmao

Mirial Joss (my first ever mha oc)

Quirk: Vibe Check. Her quirk does not need to be activated. She can see people’s auras and how they are feeling at any given moment. It’s a close-range quirk, used mostly in her job as a nurse to keep track of her patients’ health more easily. She is distantly related to Shuuzenji Chiyo, better known as the Youthful Heroine: Recovery Girl, and Sasaki Mirai, AKA Sir Nighteye.

She is Canadian-Japanese (raised by Japanese parents; gene parents are unknown) and works at Musutafu General Hospital in Musutafu Prefecture. She’s cis, but in a nonbinary way. Her hair is naturally black-grayish, but she dyed it blue and yellow in a fit of rebellion when she was like fourteen and loved the color. She has vitiligo and is proud of it. She got into a pretty bad accident when she was sixteen, hence the bandages. She doesn’t like the scars, but also doesn’t want to risk forgetting.

Her glasses were commissioned especially for her from Hatsume Industries as support items. Without them, her quirk can often get overwhelming because they filter out excess input. She can turn them on and off with a tap at either side of the glasses frame.

She’s snarky and mischievous, but also very serious. As a nurse, Mirial has dealt with a lot of bullshit from people. (Both people in the hospital and people visiting, though the former doesn’t happen too often.) She mourned her younger cousin, Kaya, and several other kids as a pediatric nurse. In my Deadzuku universe, she’s the nurse assigned to Izuku’s case and the one that helps his passing along and the one that tells his family about it the day they find out.

hey! i'm going to make this for my MHA OC and also for my original fiction characters!!

MHA:

MIRIAL JOSS: Weakness that can be a strength is how stubborn and how much of a dick she can be. Protective and sharp, a lot like Katsuki actually :D Strength that can be a weakness: the way she hates getting attached, but how quickly it happens. She works as a nurse and her quirk is literally vibe check and she has glasses that filter out excessive input.

Also, she's Canadian.

ORIGINAL STORY:

SILEIANI ""SAIA"" WO'DEN: Weakness that can be a strength is how she can sometimes be a little arrogant/proud because of her power. She gets attached and cares too much and is far too selfless.
