i thought 'maybe lou's parent character is extraneous and i just need to make him not half-siblings w benny and jude' but then the idea made me unreasonably sad for some reason so i decided i would just reboot the character. i changed the name from marion to marcel and i am changing some of the vibes. very much taking inspiration from those historical news articles abt trans guys that are like 'this guy did 76 crimes and pistol-whips anyone who calls him a woman'

i do think that lou being raised by someone other than claire (mother of benny and jude) could be beneficial to the story, giving lou diff parental issues than his brothers have. they still all have the same daddy issues but then it makes sense how lou is the one that got convinced into vampire hunting and not any of the others
