im always excited to talk about kieran they are one of my favorites

4. what does your oc do when not questing? is there one world they are always drawn back to? - assume that kieran's version of questing is following up on anything reed can't in a given world after he has already left, usually at laika's behest and usually involves clearing out undead. kieran doesn't have much to do outside of questing, seeing as he's so far from home and isn't allowed to go back. so i imagine they find small comfort in standing around by shops to see if they can hear music from inside or sitting around in libraries if there is one to read but never check out a book, anything that occupies their time and their thoughts. generally does not speak to people, just kinda lingers in places like a ghost. on the odd occasion, he will try to speak with laika because he finds their immense knowledge intriguing, but these conversations very rarely end well on both sides. - i always imagined that out of all the worlds, kieran would be fond of dragonspyre. it is a world steeped in death after all. but mostly, i think he likes it there because there's always something making noise, whether it be distant lava pools bubbling or scraping metal.

10. did your oc pick up magic easily? did someone besides a professor teach them? - eventually, it did come easier to them. when he was young, kieran hardly liked the undead and always felt offput by ghosts, zombies and the like. they were far more interested in the other aspects of necromancy which came far more easily to them - sacrifice, dark pact, etc. though he did come to tolerate and - in time - appreciate the undead, it did take him a little bit longer than most. - kieran is old enough that it was malistaire that taught him while he was at ravenwood. it hit a little too close to home when they heard what happened to him

16. what is something your oc wishes they could tell their younger self? - "learn how to be alone soon. could reeeaaallly help in your future." - i mean. he is right, it would help. whether his current state of being is an inevitability or not
