"When were you going to tell me that you were the Shadow?" Hailey pinned Siv to the wall by her shoulders.

"The Shadow, eh?" Siv raised an eyebrow, still cocky despite her vulnerable situation. "Better than the one I was using, I guess. I like it."

"This is no time for jokes!" Hailey growled. "We've been... whatever you want to define this as... for months! And now, I find out that you're the villain that we've been chasing since that explosion at Mercury Labs!"

"First things first, that explosion was an accident. My powers are erratic and hard to control. You and I both know that." Siv replied, effortlessly calm. "Second of all, villain? I prefer the term 'vigilante'. Sure, I'm no saint, but I have a code. I only go after the people who deserve it. No children, no civilians, no animals. I may not be Miss Goody-Two-Shoes Hailey Laurence, but I'm no villain."

"You blew up a bank last week."

"Another accident!" Siv insisted, wiggling out of their jacket and out of Hailey's grip. Hailey's face immediately turned red at the sight of Siv's muscular arms and stomach, though she shook off the feeling of heat that rose in her core at the sight of the other woman's body. "You don't know a thing about me, Hailey Laurence. I suggest you stop pretending that you do."

"Stop deflecting the blame. What have I been to you all these months, Siv?" Hailey asked, tears of anger in the corner of her eyes. "You knew who I was! I don't wear a mask, unlike some people, so you would have seen my face a thousand times when we fought. You should have at least told me!"

"Please, you would have thrown me in a cell the first chance you got. You don't know the first thing about me. You think I'm this mastermind, when really, I'm just... some person. With superpowers. You don't know me at all, or why I do anything that I do!"

"Then tell me!"

"I'm trying to right a wrong that happened a long time ago." Siv replied. "What do you know about the death of Regina Rivera? March 19, 2015?"

"March 19..." Hailey trailed off, eyes going wide, her gaze a thousand miles away.

"They'll tell you she died in the fire, right? The one that burned the convention center nearly to the ground." Siv started circling Hailey, reaching for the collapsed baton in their thigh pocket. "She was murdered by a man. A monster, more like. I'm just trying to get justice for her."

Hailey clearly wasn't listening, frozen in fear and shock. Siv had clearly hit a nerve. Siv reached out to touch Hailey, but their hand swept right through her body. "The fuck?"

Siv again attempted to touch Hailey, but each time, it was like interacting with a hologram, or an illusion. There was nothing tangible in front of them. They clenched their fists, charging them up with lightning, and pressed them to where Hailey's chest should be, before releasing a cloud of static into the taller woman's body.

"Ow!" Hailey shuddered, her body becoming tangible again. "What the hell, Siv?"

"You scared the shit out of me!" Siv retorted. "You were transparent and intangible! It was like I was touching a ghost!"

"That's because you were." Hailey replied. Siv could tell that somehow, Hailey wasn't lying.

"Looks like you have some explaining to do, too."

"Maybe. We should take this elsewhere."

"My place?" Siv offered, raising an eyebrow.

"Fine. But if my boss catches us..."

"Relax." Siv squeezed Hailey's arm. "So far, you're the only one who knows who I am. Except Jay."

"Wait- you know Jay Barron?"

"Yeah, we were like, besties in high school." Siv replied. "Like I said, we both have a lot of explaining to do."

What's a character you haven't written about but would like to? O r a character you'd like to write more of, if you prefer

How about two for the price of one. 😉

I wrote Homeward as a response to a prompt from @avatarskywalker78 and in it included two OCs who are the E90 version of the Tornado Twins. Dawn Allen and her brother Jay. And I really want to write more for these two, though right now my focus is on other places.

So what I know of these two thus far is that they were born identical twins, but Dawn was quite insistent about being a girl when she was still very, very young and while Barry and Tina were a bit confused at first, they were supportive of their daughter even when they didn't really understand her. They've had their powers since early childhood. But Barry and Tina were very good at explaining to a child's understanding of logic why exposing their powers to others wasn't safe.

Jay is, of course, named after their deceased uncle, Detective Jay Allen. Dawn picked her name herself because she thought sunrises were beautiful and Dawn is when they happen. I don't know what name she was given at birth, but it's not really relevant unless I ever decide to write something about back when they were still babies.

By the time the baby twins were born, Tina had come up with a chemical formula that would bind with certain pain medications, increasing the amount of time it could last in a person's system. It'd probably cause a normal amount of pain meds to overdose a normal person, but in a speedster it makes the medication work - and last - the way it's supposed to. Tina was able to adapt the formula to bind to puberty blockers for Dawn and then to her HRT later on.

Jay has, absolutely, gotten in trouble for punching a school bully who would misgender Dawn. But Dawn has also gotten in trouble for punching that same kid for bullying Jay over being artsy. Tina had to be the one to scold them over resorting to violence first and not last because Barry was trying too hard not to say 'good job, slugger' to Jay and 'that's my girl' to Dawn.

Dawn wants to be a CSI like her dad, though she's just interested enough in pure research that Tina still has a chance to steer her towards a career at Mercury Labs instead of forensics. While Tina and Barry have a friendly 'rivalry' over Dawn's career choices, they've also made sure she knows they'll respect whatever she chooses. It's her life, she should live it the way that makes her happy.

Jay was nervous to admit he wasn't all that interested in science. He's good at it, but he's not really drawn to it. Unlike Dawn he really just... does not know what he wants to do with his life, so his parents suggested he do an Associate's Degree in General Studies. Which he could then build on for a Bachelors in whatever ultimately catches his interest. He still hadn't figured it out when Barry was captured by Zoom and imprisoned on Earth-2, but he either figures it out while Barry's away or not long after his dad gets back. Jay wants to be an art teacher.

They're both really close to their Uncle Julio and Aunt Sabrina, who are both in the know about the Allen family Speedster Powers. They're less close with their Aunt Eve (Dt. Jay Allen's widow) and their cousin Shawn, but that's more because of the distance between where Eve and Shawn moved and Central City. They do love Eve and Shawn and enjoy the chance to see them whenever possible.

Admittedly, some of this is subject to change once I finally start writing additional fics for the series, but this is where I am with them right now.

This was brought up to my attention because not only was I looking through older screenshots, but it's mainly because I made a friend who loves the band, Queen on an avatar app, and I mentioned the rp to them. Long story short, my ex partner who we'll call Jay, quit this fandom in 2020 and I haven't been looking ever since. If you're unfamiliar with this band, Queen is a British Rock band and are known for familiar hits like, "Bohemian Rhapsody", " You're My Best Friend", "Killer Queen", "Another One Bites The Dust", and several other hits around the world. I've been in this fandom since 2018 and I don't plan on leaving the fandom, unlike Jay.

I do M×M character play and I only do one liners I do include my OCs, Christian and Acer. I use asterisks for certain actions of course. Yes, I involve NSFW content in my roleplay. If you are interested, I will send an example of what me and my other partner did. My only shippings from this fandom are Maylor (Brian May and Roger Taylor) and Deacury (Freddie Mercury and John Deacon). My Ocs ship name is apparently Chracer. You must be at least 18-21+ to be interested, but I do prefer 21+ and you must have a reliable communication source. My old partner and I did Instagram so that's prefered, but discord is okay too.

Who was the first other Guardian they met?(Same thing! If you made them, give a little description!):  Alya and Aisling.  Alya was an Awoken Nightstalker who had been alive since the Dark Ages and was a Gensym Knight, and Aisling is a Human Stormcaller who has studied Eliksni for many decades. 

Did your Guardian get reborn with, or find, any indication of their past life? If so what do they have/found:  Jay was revived wearing Clovis Bray researcher gear, and close to the Warmind bunkers in the Cosmodrome.  However, he has never pressed finding out more about his past life. 

How did your Guardian get their name(if they didn't rez with past life momentos):  Exo, baby, he came with the name.

Does your Guardian have a significant other:  He previously did, yes, and has had a few passing affairs since then. He may have another serious relationship again, one day. 

Did your Guardian go explore first before going to The Last City? If so, where to:  Alya and Aisling herded him to the City rather quickly after his rez. 

What was their reaction to first seeing The Last City:  Surprise and awe.

Did they run The Deep Stone Crypt raid? How did they react to the Crypt and seeing Exo Eliskni:  Jay had a sicken feeling as he entered the Crypt, and when he heard Clovis-AIs voice, his head began to hurt.  Seeing an Eliksni Exo made him irrationally angry.

Where did they go and what did they do during The Red War:  He was able to regroup with his fireteam at the Farm, then helped Sloane on Titan until Cayde’s signal was found.  He was one of the Guardians who faced Ghaul at the end of the War. 

-Here are some characters that are either polarizing or have created a strong enough mass emotion within the community. What opinion does your Guardian hold on each of them(These are only a handful of characters!)>>>

Osiris, First Warlock Vanguard, originally exiled:  Arrogant, intelligent, but teetering on a dangerous edge.  Wishes the man would pull his head out of his own arse and talk to Saint-14.

Eris Morn, Bane of the Swarm:  A good friend, ally, and partner in researching and combatting the Hive.  He worries for her well-being, and is concerned how Stasis may be affecting her. 

Cayde-6, Sixth Hunter Vanguard:  He slowly warmed up to Cayde, and soon realized the feelings he had were more than friendship.  They had a very close and intimate relationship.  When Cayde was murdered, Jay went off the deep end seeking revenge.  He barely made it back from the brink of falling to Darkness.  He still dreams of the man often, and will always love him. 

Ikora Rey, Second Warlock Vanguard:  A valued mentor and friend, Jay and Ikora communicate well and share very similar sentiments.

Commander Zavala, Second Titan Vanguard:  The two do not always see eye to eye, especially after the death of Cayde, but Jay now understands the pressure the Commander is constantly under.  He does his best to try to ease the man’s worries and burdens, but they still have disagreements from time to time. 

Saint-14, legendary Titan, First Titan Vanguard:  Jay was very surprised to learn the legend was alive, and had been rescued by Torin-9.  He will begrudgingly admit if Osiris wasn’t in the picture, he finds the man attractive and charming. 

Lord Saladin, Iron Banner handler, One of the last remaining Iron Lords:  Jay and Saladin have never seen eye to eye, despite Janyx-7 being one of the Iron Wolves.  Jay finds the man to be too hardheaded and set in his ways, unwilling to change. 

Lord Shaxx, Crucible handler, Hero of Twilight Gap, living megaphone:  Jay and Lord Shaxx have had an... interesting relationship.  Janyx has never been fond of Crucible, but often finds himself participating because he can’t say no to the man. 

The Crow, New Light, Ex-Enforcer to The Spider:  Janyx has had a hard time wrestling with the fact that Cayde’s killer was resurrected, but also knows that Crow has faced unfair circumstances for the choices and actions of another man.  He knows that Crow is not the same man, and has tried to help the man adjust to being a Guardian. Janyx ruined his working relationship with Spider to free the man from his clutches. He knows it is what Cayde would have wanted, and that the former Hunter Vanguard would find it beautifully ironic that the Awoken is a Gunslinger.

The Spider, The Shore's Only Law, founder of "House" Spider:  Janyx took the Spider’s help while he was pursuing justice for Cayde’s death.  He found the Spider to be slimy, but useful.  He was disgusted to learn of the Spider’s treatment of Crow, as well as other dealings the Eliksni had had.  He is wary of the Spider’s retaliation against himself and Crow now that the Hunter has been free. 

Uldren Sov, Prince of the Reef, Master of Crows:  Janyx found the Prince to be frustrating, at best.  After he murdered Cayde-6, Jay was happy to see the man put to death.  However, after learning more about the Prince, and what led up to his death, Jay has questioned if his path was truly the right one. 

Mara Sov, Queen of the Reef, Queen of the Awoken, Ex-Kell of Wolves:  Janyx does not trust the Awoken Queen, and he questions what the queen is doing while her people suffer. 

Variks, the Loyal, Scribe of House Judgement:  Jay is very wary of Variks after the events of the Prison of Elders, but will not harm the Scribe because of his relationship with Janyx’s sister, Aisling. 

Mithrax, the Forsaken, Kell of Light, founder of House Light:  The Kell of Light has never failed to impress or surprise Janyx.  He views him as a valuable ally, and gladly lends the Kell his help.  

The Exo Stranger/Elizabeth "Elsie" Bray, Granddaughter of Clovis I and Sister to Ana Bray:  Jay finds Elsie to be knowledgeable, but conflicted and guarded.  He doesn’t blame her for this, given how her life has been, but he has encouraged her to speak with her sister and rebuild a relationship with her. 

Eramis, of House Salvation, Kell of Darkness:  Janyx believes that Eramis’ old wounds led her down a path of Darkness and destruction, one he himself almost fell to.  He is unsure if the events on Europa could have been changed in some way, but the question dogs his every step.  

Empress Caiatl of the Cabal Imperial Empire:  After learning of Torobatl’s fall at the hand’s of Xivu Arath, Jay believes the Empress’ motives are driven by desperation and fear.  He is sympathetic, but proud of Zavala’s handling of her asking them to kneel.

Taniks the Scarred, the Perfected, the Abomination, the Shadow Thief:  Janyx was less than thrilled to see the Eliksni again, but impressed that the creature continues to live.  He knows Cayde would have, bitterly, been happy to be right that the damned Eliksni managed to cheat death once more. 

The Darkness is fast approaching. How is your Guardian handling it:  Janyx takes solace in the fact that he has done his duty to the best of his ability, and may get to see Cayde once more. 

And finally, does your Guardian have any advice for any New Lights:  “You’re never as alone as you feel.  Cut your own path through the universe, tread that thin line, but never forget where you came from.”
