Jana Gibson has wanted to sing professionally since she was a little girl. Her mother was a singer for years until retiring to take care of her and her siblings. She's been telling Jana that the world of showbiz can be incredibly difficult to navigate, but Jana knows what she wants and she will not be deterred. Headstrong, talented, and never without a clever plan up her sleeve, Jana makes a plan to get out of Ohio and to Los Angeles as soon as possible. But when she gets the opportunity to sing with the Glee Club, she holds her plans for the time being. She doesn't want to get close to anyone in there, especially not Noah Puckerman, but when things get personal and dreams and aspirations are shared, Jana finally finds some like-minded people to talk to—even if most of them are insane.
