"Do this, Varkos, stop that, Varkos, that's illegal in twenty seven systems, Varkos," Heva mutters to herself, distracted and irritated by her latest set of orders. It's not fair. Her ideas–while a tad unorthodox and occasionally dangerous–are good, dammit, and one day she'll prove it.

One way or another.

She barely notices that she throws herself onto Illinse's bunk instead of her own.

"Rough day?" her friend sounds simultaneously amused and sympathetic, moving aside slightly to make more space for Heva.

"I told Garza about my plan," she sighs dramatically and rests her head on Illinse's lap, "you wanna know what she said?"

"More explosives?"

"That she'll court martial me if I go off script again, as if me going off script isn't the only reason we even survived last time" Heva lets out small noise of contentment when Illi starts carding her fingers through her hair, "you know me, though, I can always get behind more explosives."

"Yeah but Captain Fray took responsibility to keep you out of trouble, remember?" the previous sympathy has been replaced with full on gentle amusement now that it's no longer needed, and Heva couldn't stop herself from smiling if she wanted to.

"Don't know why he bothers, it's not like it gets Garza off my back."

"Because he's a good friend," her eyes are closed, but she can hear the smile in Illinse's voice and she can't help but feel comforted by it, "even when he acts all grumpy and rude."

"Not mutually exclusive," Heva pauses as an idea starts to take shape in her brain, "think we can convince him to claim this one as well?"

"Probably not," Illinse stops to think for a moment, "what did you have in mind?"

"Don't know, maybe take on extra stock duty or something," she thinks for a moment, "or I could just do it and hope for the best. Ask for forgiveness instead of permission, that kind of thing."

"That's a terrible idea, Heva, I hope you don't plan to do it without me."

"You'll get in trouble, Illi," it's a promise rather than a warning. As down to earth as Illinse seems to be at first glance, her appetite for chaos is almost as large, if not quite as insatiable as Heva's.

It makes them a brilliant and terrible team simultaneously.

"That's half the fun of making bad decisions," another thing they have in common. Walking into trouble with their eyes open and head held high.

"In that case, my friend. We can make bad decisions together."

• haven’t fully solidified the details of her childhood yet, but she grew up on balmorra amidst the rebellion until her parents sent her to coruscant at age 14-15

• very sweet and open- she’s got a heart of gold, and makes it clear how much she cares about the people around her

• she’s rather quiet, but absolutely not shy- she just doesn’t tend to say a lot if she doesn’t know you well. that’s not to say she’ll take anyone’s shit though, because she has quite a dry wit and isn’t afraid to rip someone a new one if they’re being shitty

• always down for some shenanigans, and loves to watch drama unfold... but she’s very good at playing innocent, so it’s highly unlikely you’ll ever know she was involved. malicious compliance is also the name of the game with illi, and garza is forever frustrated by her antics.

• loyalty and justice are concepts that are very important to her, and she believes very strongly in protecting the lives of innocent people- she’ll follow these ideals even if this means she sometimes has to ignore direct orders or break laws to do so. however, she can also be very cold and harsh towards those that betray her/hurt the people she cares about.

• illi is a bit of a gearhead- she grew up in the garage, and loves working on speeders, adjusting her cannon to suit her needs, and sometimes even building her own bombs & other weapons for the field

32- Thoughts on material possessions in general?

illi definitely wouldn’t say no to the finer things in life- she does enjoy small luxuries and nice things- but they’ve also never been something she necessarily strives to get. she appreciates her material possessions without necessarily devoting herself to them, if that makes sense; material things are something that she likes but don’t necessarily mean that much to her in the long run.

46- If they were to fall in love, who (or what) is their ideal?

illi is very calm and collected most of the time, although she does have a sense of humor and can often get into trouble because things amuse her. i think she needs someone who can accept that, and possibly balance her out a bit- either in personality or as a cautionary force when she’s doing something reckless. she’s very attracted to strength of character and humor in others, and likes it when her partners are able to let loose a little bit and have fun with her.

(this is part of why i’m reconsidering her and jorgan ingame- the enemies —> friends —> lovers dynamic was very nice, but as people i’m starting to wonder if they actually vibe romantically)

48- If this person were to get into a fist fight, what is their fighting style like?

she’s very muscular and tall, so in most cases she’d pretty easily overpower her opponents through brute strength. she’s faster than she looks though, and generally aims to incapacitate whoever she’s fighting as quickly as possible (although she’s not opposed to fighting dirty if her opponent does the same). as a general rule she’s not going to try to inflict unnecessary pain on the person... unless they’ve done something to deserve it.

illi’s love language is definitely touch! she’s a pretty physical affectionate person (and she gives great hugs) and she’ll cuddle a lot with her friends as well as with any romantic partners. as a general rule she’s pretty emotionally open and good about expressing her feelings towards people (whether that be in a good or a bad way, although she can play nice and be professional. sometimes.), and is a great person to talk to if you want legitimate advice because she’s usually quite level headed. illi can also be quite reactive though- if she’s backed into a corner or ends up in a situation where she bottles too much up, there’s going to be a time and place where it blows, and it won’t be pretty.
