I'm sorry, but I'm getting pretty short on free time. Journey through the rainy World Wound

from 2021. One of the pieces of art that I’m still happy with because I worked on the characters’ emotions and they interact very meme-like. Woljif: lagging behind. CHIEF! CHIEF! Omg, I can't see them because the wings and they can't hear me becouse the rain... CHIEF, Pls, we need to rest! Ember: phlegmatic calm. she's fine. Arue: Takes care of Ember and NOT of Dearan. Daeran: Hates everyone but knows that complaining is useless. (and the chain mail they put on him is damp and cold) Azata: Omg I'm so powerful! My legs are so strong and just run by themselves! FORWARD, MY FRIENDS!

Springfinder - "Path"

With this I wanted to explore a path like not the actual road but like path of life and choices... (Or in another way to say it: path is getting from point A to point B)

Thanks to mythic powers, the commander can change own destiny and even stop being mortal and become someone else… Just like our Arueshalae! She also has a metaphysical path. (Only she is already a planar being.) And I really really want to headcanon that Aru in her personal quest not only ascends and becomes an “ascended succubus”, but also that after a while she can become an azata… Go for Elysium, girls!

P.S. I love doing redesignes for Arue's appearance x) Not cause I don't love her original look, quite the opposite - I want to experiment on it and not sticking to the same details makes my creative endorphins move. And yes, ancient Greek-Roman motifs in clothes because, from what I saw, the azatas are so about antiquity …

Process of making previous art + traditional sketches.

Wings oh wings... At the end I decided not giving Arue's wings that form, this concepts I drew really don't have any constructional sense but the idea to merge bat wings with butterfly wings still, hm, possesses interest to me. And fan fact: the color of Iamith's wings actually - turquoise, but I had to change it to fit in the color palette. Buuuut... Then I thought that at least something must reference her belonging to desnan clergy and I colored her scarf in turquoise... (and the scarf originally is cobalt blue, there's another design of her azata form in that post here). So, well, I figured out what to do with Ia's colors and then... My brain almost critically fails cause now I need to make Arue's BLUE and white look like GREEN and purple-pink to match the color composition I made. AAAAAAAAA! So hear me out - artists are literally mad :D
