On its forehead is a speaker resembling that of a subwoofer speaker. Its chest contains the mechanisms for a tape recorder and on its back are ports for instrument cables. It wears a spiked choker and wristbands on each arm and what seem to be black boots, corresponding with Haruhi's wardrobe. Its arms appear to be covered by a grid resembling fishnets and it wears a garment resembling a harness. It is a silver color with its garments being black. Its skull is white. ⛧ stand ability: noise manipulation ⛧ ability description: Symphony of Destruction has the ability to manipulate sound to its will. This ability is rather versatile and can be used in many unique ways. By far the most destructive power of Symphony of Destruction is the ability to make sonic blasts out of surrounding noise, usually the user's own shout or any surrounding noise. The inverse of this power is the ability to cancel noise. According to Haruhi, it can only be used within a 5-meter radius and it drains her energy quickly. Symphony of Destruction's less powerful abilities include "sound playback" or the ability to replay sounds heard by the user, "vocal disguising" or warping the pitch and tone of someone's voice to sound like someone else, and "autotune", which is just used as a one-off joke. Despite the versatility of its abilities, Haruhi is not immune to them. v.– relationships

⛧ mother (Megumi Nakagawa): She's deceased now, but when she was alive, she and Haruhi had a very close relationship. She encouraged Haruhi to stand up for herself and do what makes her happy. Haruhi was also inspired by her background in music to compose and play her own music. When she died, Haruhi was completely heartbroken. She's still attempting to get over it. ⛧ father (Katsuro Nakagawa): The two are less close than Haruhi and Megumi, but Haruhi still loves Katsuro with all her heart. He was the one who sparked Haruhi's interest in horror and sci-fi (and the one who made her a huge nerd). vi.– backstory

Haruhi was born on November 5, 1983 in Saitama to parents Megumi and Katsuro Nakagawa. She was raised in a house of nerdistry, watching Star Wars and Star Trek when she was a kid. She was also raised among music, as Megumi was a retired city pop artist. She got her first guitar, a black Fender Dreadnought, when she was 6 and was taught how to play it by her mother. She gained an appreciation for alternative music in elementary school after she got into her mom's old cassettes and vinyl records. Still, her life wasn't all good. From second grade to the end of middle school, she was tormented by attention-seeking bully Fuyuko Goshima, both physically and emotionally. her parents told her to fight back and stand up for herself, but it never worked since Fuyuko's family was rich and managed to pay her way out of trouble. Aside from that, Haruhi was on the baseball team and very popular amongst her peers. In middle school, Fuyuko backed off after *finally* being suspended for kicking in Haruhi's nose. After that, Haruhi's life was mostly good... but not for long. On December 23, 1996, Haruhi and her mother were hit by a truck while on the way to a middle school Christmas party. Haruhi was in a coma for three days but eventually survived. Her mother passed away due to medical complications. After two years in physical therapy and a month-long court case against the driver of the truck, Haruhi and her father ended up moving to Morioh, a town by the sea in M prefecture. ...and then the fic starts.
