Random OC ask!

What would the trio do if they were each transported into the last piece of media they engaged with?

(I hope it's okay I'm referring to them as the trio--I can put their individual names next time if that's preferred)

Ooh this is a fun one!

First thing all of them would probably do is panic (to varying degrees).

Caoimhe would either have the easiest time or the hardest as her media taste range anywhere from watching old episodes of Bob Ross on YouTube or playing games like Fallout. Either way, it starts with confusion before settling on, "Guess I'm doing this now. Hope I can get out of here." She'd adapt pretty quickly to the situation. She'd probably stick to the original story (if there is one anyway) in an attempt to get home quickly.

Gail would be panicking before there's a 90% chance the last thing she watched was a slasher movie, ala Friday the 13th or Halloween. So, she is 100% in survival mode. She's going to be the last one standing. If she's lucky, she's in a romantic drama that she can blend into the background in. Either way, she's finding a way home if it kills her. She'd definitely use her knowledge of the setting to her advantage, always trying to stay one step ahead of everything.

Jacob would alternate between excitement and panic. He's a fan of old sci-fi shows like Star Trek and comic books. So he's fanboying over the characters while panicking about the danger he's in (if he's in Star Trek, the first thing he does is make sure he's not in a red shirt). He'd also try to explain to people what happened to him because they might be able to figure out a way to send him home.

1. Farmer's Market Feedist Kinktober 2024

Uhm. So. I had on my mind that I wanted to return to do some kink-related art stuff asap, and I think @fatguarddog's Feedist Kinktober prompts were perfect to do that.

It's been too long of a rest on this, lmao.

Here is a couple of OCs I'm still developing, but basic concept is a feedist couple. Their (temporary?) names are Gail and Marshall, who know each other from high school but clicked together after college. A "rivals to lovers" kind of relationship from the beginning. They are currently in their late 20s-early 30s, engaged or married at this point in time.

Just a couple visiting a farmer's market to support locals and get some autumn-flavored treats. And Gail encouraging her partner to get more.

This little pumpkin has been floating around my blog for a while, but she’s never had a formal introduction. So, meet Gail VanderQuack! Despite her Granny’s ruthless training, she’s a firm pacifist who refuses to fight, believing that all problems can be solved with words! She’s a sweetheart, deeply empathetic and good at making connections with others, but also a bit of a scaredy cat, and not cut out for the hardcore adventuring the rest of her family excel at.

Beakley’s always said the two girls were twin sisters, and they’ve never had any reason to beleive otherwise. But as they uncover more of FOWL’s secrets, they catch wind of a decade old secret that’s been kept from them — one of them is Beakley’s biological granddaughter, and the other is a super soldier created by FOWL. The only question remaining, is which one is which?

Updated character art time, featuring Abigal "Gail" Goffrey!

Gail wants to do something meaningful with her life, now that her children have moved out and she has time on her hands. The ghost in her garden needs to find out who he is. Together, they just might solve both problems.

I finally drew her more smoothly and clearly, and figured out coloring. And added little bee buttons to her waistcoat, because bees are important.

16. Do they have any pets? What do they call their pets?

Of the three, only Gail currently has a pet. She owns an albino axolotl named Sakura.

Jacob would like to have a pet dog, but his dad is allergic, so he'll have to wait until he moves out in a few years.

Caoimhe's family can't really afford any pets at the moment, so the closet she gets is feeding the neighborhood stray cat. He's a black cat that she's started calling "Tom" because it was the first name to pop into her head.

28. How do they show that they care about someone? How do they express that they don't like someone?

Jacob likes to share/give people food. It's a trait he got from his mom. So he'll bring extra food to share with his friends at school or he'll take his friends out for lunch/dinner after they film.

If he doesn't like someone, he'll just try to avoid them if possible. If he can't avoid them, he'll just glower at them.

Gail likes to treat her friends when she can. Sometimes, that means buying lunch. Sometimes, it means going to the mall and shopping together.

If she doesn't like someone, she's a lot more snappy at them. Think April from Parks and Rec. She can get pretty mean.

Caoimhe will take an interest in what someone is doing/working on if she cares about them. She wants to know what they care about and share that joy with them, even if she doesn't really get it.

She'll ignore people she doesn't like unless otherwise provoked, but if someone asks her directly, she will just directly tell them why she doesn't like them. Bluntly.

My goal with these has been to sharpen my visual storytelling skills while also practicing being faster and less precious with details. There are lots of mistakes if you know where to look, but overall I'm pretty happy with how they've been coming out.

What's Gail and Erica's deal?

this is the correct question to ask me!!!!!!!!! 😃😃😃😃

Erica and Gail are twin sisters who share a superpower. When they were young they were part of the Fledge Fighters team (my old webcomic.) Now that they've grown up with me I play around with them in a big Marvel AU sandbox of my own adaption.

the personalities

Erica is bright and energetic and has so much unmedicated ADHD, loves fashion, makes friends wherever she goes, and would go to great lengths to help others, which is what makes her a great superhero but also keeps her overcommitted and overextended.

Gail is the opposite in most ways- subdued, introverted thinker, a bit of a slob, and not blessed with much (if any) natural empathy. But she's brilliant and widely knowledgeable, which you'll find out if you manage to actually get her to talk to you. She's also narcoleptic, so basically sleep deprived all the time no matter how many naps she gets.

Gail basically spent her life up to her mid-twenties doing whatever Erica wanted, and Erica put more work in fostering Gail's non-existent social life than was healthy. The two couldn't think of life without the other, and found it difficult to separate their individual needs.

the big trauma

Then they went through a catastrophic world-ending event where they got portaled through spacetime to another universe and for the first time in their life, were separated (by a few hundred miles and about six months.) Instead of having each other for balance, they both veered harder into their opposite demeanors to the point that when they meet again after spending three years apart, they're unsure if they can ever be as close as they were when they were younger.

Erica had a bit of a crisis when she realized her sister was not anywhere on the new earth, dated Thor briefly, then ran off to join the Guardians of the Galaxy, so she was off-planet by the time Gail showed up.

When Gail found herself alone, she immediately quit the superhero thing, and became a morally-grey (at best) security specialist who works for whoever pays best or provides an interesting challenge, and gets involved with a crime boss named Valentine, who she's working for when she gets mixed up with Loki.

the powers

When they were teen superheroes together, they thought that they just had the same powers with different specialties, but separated they also realized that it was more like they each had half of a power.

Erica can create huge air currents where none exist and control them in broad strokes. Most of the generative power comes from her. She prefers to work big, even getting to the point where she can create hurricanes. She can also fly on her own.

Gail's air manipulation comes down to directing its flow, and it takes a lot for her to actually build up a wind that could rival a large fan. She also lost the ability to fly. However she can precisely tune into the molecules and pressure, so she uses her powers to do quiet, subtle things like building up pressure in a room or redirecting an existing airflow.

It's like you can see Gail's villain arc beginning in this moment.

Together they can create AND precisely control extremely powerful winds, but they've gotten pretty good at their solo acts by now. The whole thing with Gail becoming a villain has put a big damper on their relationship, but in the end, they're still sisters and love each other dearly.

Well, he’s a great coworker. And I care about everyone I work with a lot. Although I cate about some more than others…

I really would do anything to save him, along with the others. Even if that means shooting slime all over some possessed animatronics.

So, I guess what I’m really trying to say is, I want to save him… BECAUSE I WANT TO SAVE EVERYBODY! WOOHOO!
