i feel like a concept people don’t really expand on in cat hybrids is that some cats can sense when someone is about to die. there’s one named oscar (?) who cuddles up to people in aged care homes when he knows they’re going to die, it’s sort of wholesome in a way. would be super cool to see someone expand on that maybe ?? like a therapy cat reader + wraith! ghost ? idk i think im just yappin

7. Are they a good liar, and what would they probably lie about?

Both Leythe and Rainen are good liars--though Rainen lies outright while Leythe lies mostly by omission. Rainen's likely to lie about small things--debauchery, etc--while Leythe tends to dance wide around details about her past.

36. Do they own items that have sentimental value?

Leythe carries a scrap of tattered, faded silk fabric she's had since childhood--she can't remember where it came from, but she's unbearably attached. Rainen wears a fine golden chain, gifted to her by her mother at one of the last points when their relationship wasn't so strained.

56. How would they react to hearing a dirty joke?

Rainen would be the one telling the joke. Leythe would scoff and blush.

[SevenAU] Blitzstein Reckless | Timeline 3 - Maruta Experiment.

"Maruta" (丸太) is the name given to Duri Elemental of Blitz, which he later called Maru for short. This name was not given to him by Blitz, but by a group of scientists with the number "nana-san-ichi"* who gave him, based on his superpower of plant-manipulation.

“Maruta" means "logs", but here we associate it with "timber/wood".

Red Sun/Solar has the ability to heal with touch, Maru is not so kind. Both are "doctors", with some understanding of first aid for injured soldiers, but while Red Sun tries to save as many people as possible, Maru is cruel and uses his knowledge to do experiments.

When this happens, Blitz can only split up to three people, including the trio “Kaminari - Kamikaze - Solar”. Solar loves the other two very much, so he never opposes them. But then, who is Maru then?

When Blitz first acquired Duri from its former master, the Empire was having some problems with their vegetation and a lack of herbal medicine. Blitz went to the plant research institute in the form of Maruta, but was accidentally attacked by crazy doctors want to steal Duri's power. Even though Blitz escaped (?), he couldn't remember Maruta being separated from him.

Over the next few months, Maruta was brainwashed and accepted into the "nana-san-ichi" scientific team, and with them performed cruel torture experiments on prisoners captured by the Empire. At the last moment, on the day Kaminari and Kamikaze were attacked by the Western Empire, Red Sun should have been there in time to save them. But Red Sun was captured by Maru and injected with a serum that neutralized his "healing factor".

That's why Kaminari and Kamikaze were not treated in time, Kaminari was captured by Fang, Kamikaze suffocated in the ocean, and Red Sun temporarily lost his abilities (as in the “Afterglow” post, Kamikaze woke up and realized Red Sun's face "turned black" and could no longer be cured, as a metaphor for how Maru destroyed the Light Elemental). And so, the sacrifices we know all came from Maru's cruel acts.

Information about a pic in there (where has Ying), is "Bamboo Impalation", a form of torture that Maru used on prisoners, to the point that it is considered his signature move.
