Literally looks like thrown through a cartoon blender. I'm actually quite happy with how he turned out though.

He wears his hair open now and grew it out a bit - luscious locks distract from the missing hand 😆 Can't really see it in the screenshot, but I gave him slight (uneven) cataracts, cause he's old and battered, and my tragic punching bag blorbo (I love him ❤️‍🩹).

You might think the hair is an odd choice, given that there are more similar hairstyles in DAV, but the character has existed long before DAI and only found his true calling in that game. But his original design always had a more shaggy appearance, and... I really, really wanted to see the strand physics, lol.

Simple pawn drops rock on his own head. Deduces to better stay away from rocks. 👏

Drewger was so focused on summoning a stabby henchman, he forgot to also wish for some intelligence in him.

He opened his eyes, and he knew something went wrong. Immortality - that is what he wanted. To live forever because the dragon had his heart, and as long as he didn't slay the beast, he would live forever.

The last thing he remembered was sitting in the library with a glass of wine, pondering over a tome. So why was he on the road to Melve now?

When he came back to consciousness, he thought at first he had fallen asleep in his armchair. But as soon as he realized where he was, it was clear that something had happened.

Could this be another cycle? But why? And if so, would the dragon appear again soon and make him Arisen again?

Only one way to find out. And so Drewger forced himself to walk down the road towards Melve.

And another cycle began.

What Drewger did not know was, that he had stopped being the latest Arisen quite some time ago. Foolishly he thought there would be no other, as long as he did not confront the dragon.

But another had been given the charge...

...and succeeded.

So, I have this one character I try to make in every game, if the CC allows. His very first appearance was in WoW in 2007. I still have the character.

Since I now made him in DD2 as well, I figured imma make a collection post.

So, these are the many incarnations of Zacha Drewger / Trevelyan (yes, I really like the name Zachary/Zachariah. Sue me! 😆)

I also drew his "canon" appearance:

Game-wise, his DAI incarnation is the most canon, both in looks (minus the hair) and personality.

Since his first incarnation in WoW was as warlock, he's always been something in that direction. A mage or tech-wizard, depending on the universe. It's also why his canon appearance is so gaunt.

I did eventually develop an entire world for him to inhabit, which I always wanted to put in a book, but ya know... writing takes effort 😆

That time again...

I had so little spare time lately, I spent what little I had to rush through the game.

Male simple voice 1 is bugged and switches to female version during the ending scene 🙃 Had to force-close the game and change his voice to simple 2, which fixed it. Still annoying. Really took me out of the sobbing moment.

Random character questions

Using the character question generator, I wanted to see if I can answer some for my Arisen.

Question: What smell reminds your oc of their childhood?

Zachariah: He doesn't remember anything before becoming Arisen. The first smell he remembers though is blood and sweat from waking up in the excavation site gaol after his poisoning.

Bertrand: Hay. He grew up on a farm in Vermund. The smell of fresh hay always brings him back to those blissfully innocent days.

Z. Drewger: Wet dog. Don't ask, it's very sad.

Question: If your oc knew they would die tomorrow, what would they do today?

Zachariah: He'd spend his last day & night with Wyd.

Bertrand: Have his favorite meal, polish his armor, say goodbye to his friends. Spend the night alone, awake, watching the stars.

Z. Drewger: Despair. Cry. Pray. Despair some more. Then spent whatever time is left frantically trying to avoid his death.

Question: What is your oc’s most controversial food opinion?

Zachariah and Bertrand are frugal and have no strong food opinions.

Z. Drewger: Ritualistic consumption of human flesh/blood is acceptable.

Question: What kind of parent would your oc be?

Zachariah: Fun, queer, bit reckless (but Wyd isn't comfortable around kids, so no parenting happening here).

Bertrand: He's the grumpy uncle who turns into a gold-hearted father every time some kid approaches him. He'd probably be a very good, protective father and teacher, sharing all his life wisdoms with unending patience.

Z. Drewger: Nope. Just nope. He'd either neglect the kid(s) or put them to work as soon as they are able. He has zero fatherly instinct.

Question: Which heavenly virtue does your oc represent best?

Zachariah: Fortitude

Bertrand: Prudence

Z. Drewger: Faith

Question: Does your oc have any tattoos, and if so, of what, and do they have a story behind them?

Zachariah: With every new cycle, he adds another dragon pierced by an arrow, to his back. It's a reminder of how long he and Wyd have kept going, and a testament of his undefeated strong will.

Bertrand: On his chest he's got a snake coiling around an arrow. It's a tattoo he got together with all his surviving comrades, after the war with Battahl. And later during his journey as Arisen, he got a tattoo of two helmets with a sword and a heart, symbolizing him and Boy (who he's grown quite fond of, in a mentor-y way).

Z. Drewger: Not really tattoos, but he's carved several (dubious) magical incantations into his skin that are supposed to have protective qualities.
