Long time no post quq Felt a bit unsatisfied with one of my character's designs, so I sketched something new up! Leaning very into snake characteristics with Desdaemon here, though I am pleased with how it turned out! Character/art are mine Please do not use/copy/trace/repost/etc.

A pretty quickly put together and temporary ref for Desdaemon, just so I have something on hand for now and know what this boy looks like myself ajkhfsdkjfhdfj

All the notes are pretty much on the ref itself, I hope you can read my handwriting lMAO-

Height is around 178cm His hair is basically half his mass ajhfdjf, very thick and very long, go wild when drawing him peeps. He can also be drawn in buns, ponytails, braids, etc. Also yeah his crotch /is/ supposed to look like that, he has the parts but he doesn't have strictly human genitalia due to not being human.

In honor of this ask, I hath written a random drabble of Athena and Leo

I hope for once more that yall will enjoy this random piece of writing-

One bag of chips.

It was just one damn small bag of chips, yet Athena couldn’t reach it as she struggled and stretched her arm as far out as possible, still not even getting close to touching the top shelf of the cabinet. She groaned, hopping and still not quiiite reaching it. She pouted and glared up at the top shelf. This was a dishonor to her name, and seeing that bag of salted BBQ chips just sitting there, almost as if mocking her, only added insult to injury. She was about to start climbing the counter as she felt someone behind her, saw a tattooed, hair arm reach out and grab the bag off the shelf with ease while its owner went about their business. Athena tried to snatch it out of their grip, but she was a fraction of a second too late, and now the bag was dangling out of reach again, held up by her brother, Leo, who didn’t even raise his gaze from his phone screen.

“Leeooonidaasss,” she hissed, jumping up, only for the bag to drift out of reach again.

“What? Finders keepers,” Leo responded deadpan as he waltzed out of the kitchen and plopped down in a couch.

“You didn’t even find it! That’s not fair! Gimme!” Athena protested as she lunged for the chips again, only to find herself crashing ass-up on the other side of the couch. Leo spared her a glance.

“Your little rat hands aren’t going anywhere near my chips,” he said, shoving the chips under his armpit to hide them. Athena growled and sat on the couch, pouting at Leo.

“Still not your chips, you mangy ass,” she hissed. Leo clicked his tongue.

“Piss off, fetus.”

“I’m 2 minutes older than you, pissbaby.”

“You still look like you were aborted.”

“You are a face not even a mother could love.”

“Touché,” Leo said, ripping open the bag of chips. “We both have the same mommy issues, you sentient salt pile.”

“…. yes,” was all she blurted out as she averted her gaze. “You’re still mean though.”

Leo eyed her for a moment, narrowing his eyes and straightening his shirt’s collar until he spoke.

“Apology accepted. You may have one-” he emphasized by raising one finger “-chip.”

“Aw come on!”

“This bag isn’t large enough for both of us,” he said in a purposefully hoarse voice.

“Don’t underestimate me, I will eat your fingers.” she threatened in a similar hoarse voice.

“Do it, bitch.”

Athena leaped forward at his challenge, grabbing his free arm and trying to bite into it while Leo screamed in horror, barely not spilling the chips all over them. Desdaemon dragged himself out of his room to see what the hassle was all about, only to see Athena and Leo frozen up staring at him, Athena biting into the side of Leo’s wrist as he held a bag of chips up in the air. He blinked once, twice, and then sighed in disappointment, escaping to the bathroom, leaving the siblings to stare back at each other and resume their shenanigans a moment later.

It’s Desdaemon time! Rapid fire bullet point facts:

- Des tends to dress either super casually or super formally, with little variety in-between. He especially loves wearing fancy embroidered vests and tailcoats.

- Has rather strong draconic hoarding instincts, copes with it by hoarding pretty stones in a jar and pretending to guard it from time to time.

- He can regrow his teeth every time they break/fall off like an alligator.

- He tends to curl up to fall asleep, in human form he also likes hugging a pillow.

- He doesn’t like having his neck touched at all and hates wearing chokers and turtlenecks.

- His body heat is naturally higher than average, staying at a constant 39.4 degrees Celsius.

🍰🎠🎃😈🍺 for Athena, Noire and Desdaemon!! (it's a lot but I'm curious)

Oh my no worries, any excuse to ramble about my OCs is good c:

🍰 - What is their favorite type of dessert or sweet?

Athena  -  Chocolate. She will kill for chocolate, it’s her other secret cause. It doesn’t help that chocolate is worth its weight in gold in her world, so it’s often either pretty expensive or pretty illegal to get, but she will associate with smugglers and steal from the rich when she craves chocolate. Other times she will settle for ice cream.

Noire  -  On the contrary, Noire doesn’t really have a sweet tooth, but does appreciate something a bit more fancy and alcoholic like crepe suzette on occasion. Or gets a craving for a sweet/dessert whose recipe or main ingredient has been lost or been extinct for a century now and nothing else can quite replicate it. Immortality and extreme longevity sucks, kids.

Desdaemon  -  Des is a big fan of chewy candy, licorice, marshmallows, gummy bears and the like. He also loves popsicles, especially if he makes them by himself.

🎠 - Your character is at the carnival.  What kinds of rides or games do they check out to entertain themselves?

Athena  -  She’s a fearless big gal and she’ll try the most extreme rides the carnival has to offer. Roller coaster, pendulum ride, drop tower etc. Afterwards, she’ll probably either join Des to do more stuff or get some ice cream and call it a day, either way probably whining about how those weren’t really extreme and that she has done worse in flight.

Noire  -  Preferring the calmer rides, Noire will check out the carousel, ferris wheel, accompany others to more exciting rides and then sit in amusement and watch what people’s reactions from the extreme rides are. Or he’ll try the shooting range or those where you throw-a-ball-in-a-can games to try and win a stuffed animal. Is it for himself? Is it for someone else? Who knows…

Desdaemon  -  Sharpshooter at heart, Desdae’s purpose in the carnival is to beat all the shooting range games. All of them. You can ask him to win you just about anything, probably, which is a plus. Afterwards he’ll wind down with trying random rides and finally get a well-earned drink and a hot dog.

🎃 - What is your character’s favorite holiday?

Athena  -  Christmas! Though it was a celebration brought in by Christian humans, she loves the festive winter atmosphere, the little bazaars with hot food and drinks and the festive trees and lights. And also the fact that it’s usually cloudy and the sun sets at 5pm so she has more time to hang outside.

Noire  -  Noire is… rather odd. He doesn’t seem to particularly enjoy or be excited about big festivities, but on certain days a year, he seems more happy than usual. Truth is, his favorite festivities are secretive and sometimes outright forbidden by the tyrant seated at the helm of this society, as they were holidays dedicated to old Gaian gods, where celebration is quieter, more about the spiritual aspect than the festive one.

Desdaemon  -  The Carnival/Carnivale and Halloween! He loves dressing up all fancy, cosplaying and even trying his hand at making costumes, not to mention the atmosphere is the best excuse for him to loosen up and have some fun. And for Halloween specifically, he likes the spooky atmosphere, the excuse to dress up as a vampire, carving pumpkins and giving sweets to kids going trick-or-treating.

😈 - What’s your character’s favorite cuss word?

Athena  -  Any combination of “shit”, “fuck” and “balls”, especially their Greek translations and German “Scheisse”. The more she can fit in one sentence, the better.

Noire  -  He doesn’t cuss. He is a PG-12 ancient dad.

Desdaemon  -  Anything along the lines of “you absolute wanker”, “you utter fuck”, “you imbecile”, etc.

🍺 - Cheers! What is your character’s favorite alcoholic beverage?  What was the last thing they got smashed off of? 

Athena - Unsurprisingly, a woman of expensive taste in liquor. She rarely drinks due to having to stay sharp as a rebel assassin, but when she does, she wants the fancy stuff- expensive wine, high quality beer and fancy cocktails usually. At least, that’s what she wants people to believe. The last thing that got her thrashed? Desdae’s cheap ass vodka.

Noire  -  He doesn’t drink, he only enjoys alcohol in food. That is because if he drinks above a certain quantity of alcohol, which seems to be almost random at times, his already unusually toxic blood turns even more potent in reaction with hallucinations, head-splitting migraines, nausea and disorientation for days before his body balances out again. A pretty deadly hangover there.

Desdaemon  -  Des loves the cheapest and most potent alcohol. His body is extremely resistant to the effects of intoxication, part of it natural, part of it coming from his demon side which has regenerative abilities, and as a result light liquor has literally no effect on him. Usually, his favorite tends to be whiskey, with tequila and vodka coming in after. The last thing that got him thrashed was probably a combination of all three, plus a bit more on the side. Moral of the story: Don’t challenge this boy to a drinking game, he can chug entire bottles before he’s wasted and in the morning he will be hangover-free in a matter of minutes.

Two gud bois I drew to let out some stress before bed- //still not bummed out by art turns out lmaoo

On the left is Desdae’s humanoid form, or welp some form of concept of it I guess |’D Twink ass with long hair he usually either braids or ties in a ponytail, only lets it down when off duty/sleeping. He can disguise his eyes to look like brown-amber human ones but I didn’t feel like making more variants oops, and he only has earrings on his right ear.

On the right is Leonidas in his humanoid form, Athena’s twin brother (non-identical twins-). He is a Viking-bear built looking ice mage with a considerably more cheerful demeanor compared to his sister. Those fang earrings may or may not be teeth that fell out of Dae’s mouth in his wyvern form. And yes, both the Schneider siblings are buff as fuck yes yes.
