ok I love conlangs and diminutives and ‘Baluchi’ is making me go nuts I adore it. can you share more abt your conlang??
(no worries about the asks I love talkin!!)
My conlang is called "Miriden" and it basically is the elf language I made for one of my oc universes! I like to use it for other things too though (like fr!)
It's woefully incomplete and right now I'm taking a break from working on it (I was working on it like crazy in June) because the idea of figuring out adjectives would work was so daunting I decided I needed to redo half of the grammatical structure related to nouns lmao.
With my memory and grammar sheet, I'm gonna make a sentence.
Do Madame Ella's friends eat beef?
Dām Ella'povat alinamí s’kômfòl bajud?
(dahm ella-poe-vaht ah-lih-nah-mee skohm-faul bah-jood)
(writing that pronunciation out was so hard its so much easier to write the ipa symbols)
Dām indicates a yes/no question (can be at the end of the sentence also)
Ella'povam is a respected form of Ella's name. the t replaces the m and makes it possessive.
ali + am + í (friend + formal suffix + plural)
s' + kômf + òl (present tense + eat + modal suffix 'tend to'. There is no progressive tense so 'eat' is the same as 'eating' but òl can be used to mean "do they tend to do this thing" as opposed to "they are doing this thing right now")
bajud just means beef
I hand you this that I made for one of my ocs (my only oc dragon on fr also!) and it also will need to be remade once I re-figure out this gosh danged grammar
