‘Up, up the stairs you climb, after the castle’s Lord, enthralled by him. You had been in the room he provided you when he beckoned you to follow and, wordlessly, you did.

Up, up the stairs you climb, near the top you are now. The Lord’s robe has fallen off his shoulders, revealing scars and a strange rune between shoulder blades.

Up at the top now, he stops and stares at you; unmatched eyes and a closed lip smile, though two long teeth peek out (always the same two teeth).

You hear metal on metal and he turns back, continuing to the entrance. You follow the castle’s Lord, too enthralled by him to realise it’s too late.’
