Trahearne & Spite Scorchedearth

Trahearne and Spite have a long history, Originally they met many lifetimes ago, Spite, born as a norn, and Trahearne, born as a charr. In this life Spite witnessed him being slautered by humans of Orr. In her grief and anger she took to Orr and began fighting every guard and armed human in sight, to the point where she drew the attention of the god of war himself. Balthazar was impressed by her battle strength and power, but was much less amused by the senseless slaughter of his followers. He approached her and demanded her to stop fighting, Spite however, ignored him completely and struck him. In retaliation Balthazar cursed the two soulmates to be in a endless loop of Spite watching her lover die, unable to save him, and unable to break the curse, as she would have no knowledge of it.

In their latest life, although Trahearne first technically saw Spite as a shadowed figure while still in the Dream, they first truly met at Claw island.

Trahearne instantly recognized her as the figure in his dream, and was very enamored with her at first sight.

Spite, however, did not care for him at first, as in her grief she was blaming him for Tybalt's death, and resented him for it, though slowly she began to warm up to him. By the time of the mission "Further into Orr" they had both developed feeling for each other. Spite accidentally confessed to him right after "The Source of Orr." However their first date was shortly after"Victory or Death," and by the time of "Flame and Frost" They had become fully fledged mates.

After his death in HoT, he would visit Spite in her dreams every night until War Eternal where his soul would join in the fight against Kralkatorik. During which he told he that he didn't want to continue hurting her, that he loves her, and gently told her that it was time to continue on in her grieving process. 

HOWEVER, there is an AU where Trahearne survives HoT (still a lil fuzzy on how but)

After destroying Mordremoth's mind, Athinri, Canach, and Caithe went into Trahearne's mind and severed Mordremoth's remaining connection to him. However, after doing so, he became comatose, until right before Spite left for Elona. He chased after her, (Along side Caithe and Athinri chasing Aurene who had fled to Spite's defense.) and he found her dead. Eventually, Spite returned to life, and she was ecstatic to see him. However, she forced him into resting instead of joining her against Balthazar until the very final battle. After Balthazar's death at their hands, their curse became broken. After LWS4, Trahearne mentioned to his mate how he hated his scars from Mordremoth. She offered to Brand over them, and he accepted, giving him a slight connection to her, Aurene, and Caithe.

Caithe & Spite

Spite and Caithe have had a complicated relationship. They have been sisters in arms, friends, enemies, and now they are in a sort of romantic relationship. 

Spite did not trust Caithe after she stole Aurene's egg, and at the end of HoT she hated her, but when she was going to be forced to leave for Elona, Caithe begged Spite to let her watch Aurene. Spite knew she would not harm the hatchling, but still didn't fully trust her, so she called for Athinri. Slowly, she introduced them one by one to Aurene, and felt a little confident in their ability to watch her. However, this ended once Aurene escaped to try to save Spite from Balthazar. Spite was furious at the two when they came to Elona to make it right. 

Spite slowly began to forgive Caithe for everything, but it truly came to a head during "The Crystal Blooms."

They never have really talked about their feelings for each other, but its clear they have very deep feelings for one another.

Braham Eirsson & Athinri

Braham and Athinri first meet when Spite calls on her to help them retake Cragstead. Braham is instantly drawn to her. Over the course of season one, Braham very quickly develops feelings for her, and his feelings are just made worse because of how naturally touchy she is (like a lot of sylvari.) Due to his feelings for her, Braham quickly becomes very protective of her and is often found by her side or standing behind her. Athinri, of course does not notice his feelings at all but deeply enjoys his company.

By LWS2 Athinri begins to slowly develop feelings for Braham. Braham is even more so protective over Athinri when she begins to delve into the memory seeds. She realizes her feeling for him when he's comforting her after the point of no return. In HoT they become very close in their sadness and grief, and this continues until in Braham's grief he becomes more and more volatile, especially towards spite. Athinri tries to stay with him and help him through it, but at the end of frozen out Braham yells at both Athinri and Spite. He yells and says that he couldnt believe she was siding with spite over him angrily, and Athinri shouts at him that he's irrational and a dumbass. She stays behind and travels with Spite.

When they meet up again in LWS4 they are still very tense, but it's very clear that they deeply miss each other. They are still cold to each other until Braham becomes injured protecting the commander from one of kralkatorik's blasts. Because of this Athinri is pushed by her fear of losing him again and they make up. They don't get to spend much time together in Dragonfall, as Athinri, as general, is helping Logan with the pact.

In IBS, specifically Bound by Blood, Braham got drunk and called Spite, Athinri was with her and Braham began loudly gushing about her and how much he loved and adored her. When they got to Bajora Marches, he forced her to be bundled up more than what was necessary bc he was worried she would get sick from the cold. In A Voice in the Deep, Athinri is the one who is shot by Bangar, and it allows him to become the wolf. Spite hears Aurene calling her to return to the Eye of the North. Braham carries Athinri in his arms until they meet up with Widget and put her into her experimental life-support golem till they could get her to a safe place to heal her. Afterwards, he watches over her until she awakens and for weeks afterwards he refuses to leave her side and tries to do everything for her. Which she finds very sweet and endearing, but very annoying at the same time.

When Braham becomes the Champion of Primortus Athinri searches for a way to free him, and inadvertently becomes branded by Jormag. After the twin dragons are slain they spend their time together healing physically and emotionally, and at some point they get married :33

Gorrik & Widget & Taimi

Taimi, Gorrik, and Widget are extremely close, as Taimi and Widget met in school, and the two met Gorrik in collage, and the three of them have developed feelings for each other. Although Gorrik and Widget know of their feelings for the other two, Taimi is only aware of her feelings for Gorrik.

After Taimi and Gorrik begin to date, Widget feels devastated and begins to pull away from the two, and while trying to avoid them gets sucked up into a rift with Spite. Widget is continuously avoiding them, trying to avoid getting even more heartbroken, not realizing how badly shes hurting and scaring her two best friends.

Although Athinri's dream may have been different from the one in game, her awakening follows the game pretty much to a T, aside from one fact. When Caithe awakened her in the Dream, and then proceeded to trigger her awakening, she still was premature. Which caused her to be put under quarantine away from any non menders, and watched with a careful eye until she fully bloomed. Thankfully, this did leave any last side effects other than a slightly weaker immune system.

Athinri was extremely miserable the entire week of her quarantine, being able to hear the other sylvari freely exist, and her not able to.

In her past life, Athinri was a very skilled shaper, and had a strong connection to lotus flowers in particular. She even made a gift for Caithe, two purple daggers with flowers on the end.

This continued as a strong pull to these flowers in her next life, however unlike before, the flowers seemed to wilt whenever she touched them, and Athinri couldn't keep them alive for anything. This always filled her with a profound sadness, though she didn't know why until years later.

Okay I give up on this, but post Athinri getting shot by Bangar, he was extremely clingy, even more so when she awoke. It took her awhile after fully healing to convince him she was okay

I'm on an Athinri kick right now, so you know what that means! Angst, and Athinri and Wynne art

After using the last vision seed and regaining her past life's memories, Athinri was in turmoil both mentally and physically. Wynne's memories were fighting for room in her body, as if her consciousness was fighting with Athinri for her very life. She was having a crisis of consciousness, not knowing who she was, and if she was even real. Wynne's entire life was flooding her brain coming back, even taking her own memories, likes, dislikes, everything. Eventually, during LWS3 they were forced to lock Wynne's memories in her locket, at least until Athinri could properly deal with them without literally tearing herself apart.

After IBS she's been letting go of her resentment towards Wynne and has been able to slowly work through her memories, though like she feared this has been slowly changing her.
