The words uttered from the magister makes Ashaele stares and mouth tight closed.

“You’re not a mistake,” Her older brother tells her when she was little and wonder why her parents were gone. 

“You’re not a mistake, but I have to go.” Her first love told you as her family had to move away after a hospitality stay in the clan during the past winter.

“You’re not a mistake, my child.” The keeper held your shoulders, as you ready yourself to blend into other civilians to see what the Conclave is. 

“And what of it?” Ashaele breaks the silence with a tight grin.
