Aeros learned the way of assassin from a crow named Heir (you can find her in DAV, she trains crow recruits in Cantori Diamond). That's why he moves like a crow.

I imagine when Lucanis sees him at the final battle in Minrathous, he's super impressed and starstruck at seeing this middle aged man who is not a crow manage to execute a flawless assassination and complex acrobatic movement.
