cw for some mild body horror/gore

nosferatu adam concept i was plucking away at today, realized that with portraits i'm missing half the customization fun w nossie limbs so couldn't go too ham with variation. wanted to try and base off of lineage and have an appearance that looks mary-esque, one that's casimir-esque, elaine-esque, and then inspiration struck with me trying out a kindred the embraced daedalus look for funsies that went full cenobite that i'm actually really into and sort of fits the v5 nosferatu redux

basically his skin keeps growing over his mouth so every time he wants to feed he's gotta rip it open and talking is difficult

i feel like it's a fun modern mix of mary's curse inflicted pain with her spikes, casimir and athanasia's fucked up jaw situation, and elaine's body falling apart

musing about adam tonight

i like the idea of him having a younger sister, of feeling like a fuck up or corrupting influence on her, adoring and resenting the way she looks up to him

thinking it’s better she thinks he’s dead than the dealings he ends up doing

getting into the hunter scene out of the horror of what’s out there and a need to make the world safer for her as well as aforementioned not really having a high value for his own life

then the resulting horror after his embrace, that there’s no redeeming himself and going back, that his life was never something to throw away so foolishly

maybe mary reminding him of his younger sister and all the childe/sire angst resulting from memory being so tainted by hatred

and also adam being the break in the cycle of mary’s bloodline with men generally being cold and self interested, in casimir’s case motivated by romantic love but still quite uncaring about anything else
