So you mentioned Hearst is healing 😭💖 Tell us about it!

Hearst has always been a comfort OC of mine mainly because he sort of represents everything bad I went through even back when he was an SCP OC around 3-4 years ago. He was this guy I could project all my sad stuff on and he’d take it because he’s an OC but as I grew, so did he. Originally, he was this serious, silent agent for the Foundation but as I started to heal, he also did

Basically his lore in both JW & SCP are that he’s a father to this three year old girl. I always thought that if I cared for someone or something, that it would help me. I mean, it kinda did, cause my little sister was born during 2020 and that’s when I started to actually become mature and genuinely start to heal but that was just one of the reasons. Another thing is that I isolated myself from others. I didn’t feel comfortable in my own skin most of the time and I felt like I was about to explode at any given moment so talking to people was a big no-no😞.

So Hearst was also isolated. I always liked lighthouses because they were lonely and that’s what I frequently use to represent Hearst; a lighthouse. Isolated, cold…. tall lmao

But yeah, he then started heal and his character shifted. I made him meaner, but also more open to people. When he was uh, forcibly shoved into the world of JW/j I wasn’t satisfied with his character just being a constant suffering or a representation of like high school me. So yeah. Changed that.

He has his own walls he needs to break down, but right now, Hearst is still in his healing stage. He recognizes that he can’t keep being that way, and is making an active choice to heal because of his daughter(Adrianne/Ria btw). He’s now more of the sea to me now, less of a lighthouse. The sea, sometimes peaceful, sometimes not. Sometimes lonely, sometimes with other people. Hearst can step out of the lighthouse and turn back when he wants to, but he chooses to sit on the edge of the sea (with a cup of hot choco and his daughter ofc :3)

Adam grapples with his “divinity”, treading the lines between his own humanity and what he believes to be his own holiness implanted into him from an early age. He thinks that he is the one true savior, suffering from religious psychosis CONSTANTLY, and never really fights it. No, in fact, the cult is there to feed it even MORE.

Hearst is actually quite simple, he just wants a peaceful life— or as peaceful as he can get under the High Table. All he wants is the best for Ria and ultimately, he wants to mentally heal from everything he’s been through :3

anyways he lives alone (except for this changeling kid that ended up on his door so now he’s a father of one☝️) he sometimes gets visits from his only bestie eleanor who is a toreador in this yayayay
