Part 1 of the Van Meter Visitor aka. Vanessa Vance

This is an OC to a future "case" to my series called Odyssey of the Inner Beast. Her name is Vanessa Vance and she's a mutant hybrid of Meruian and Human. She got this due to catching a deadly virus which caused her body to forcibly mutate and became the creature in the bottom image. She lucky enough to shapeshift back to her dormant form due to the Meruian side. She's also known as the Van Meter Visitor being the amphithere depiction of the creature. In her dormant form, Vanessa is a adult woman in her early 20s trying to get by with her twin brother in the town of Van Meter.

Twyla Abernathy- of course she's first she's my main hunger games oc. It's hard to think of just one song but I have to go with as good a reason by Paris Paloma and Mr. Rager by Kid Cudi

Melantha Flammia-Melantha is from district 1 and victor of the 66th games her mentor was cashmere. Melantha was volunteered for her games when she was 17 years old. She is known for her sassy attitude and flirty personality in the capitol but of course that's her victor personality for the capitol. Of course she loves Dimonds but she also loves cooking for her I would say primadonna by Marina and young and beautiful by Lana Del Ray

Vanessa rune- she's known as the little fairy by the other victors because of how she looks. she's from district 8 and she's the victor of the 72th hunger games she won at 18. She's one of the shorter victors at 5'2. She was be sweet and cute one moment but can so switch to violent the next but she's mostly quiet and sweet when she's around the other victors mainly Johanna. Vanessa loves sewing and drawing. For her I would say Who's afraid of little old me by Taylor swift and Fight or Flight by Conan Gray

Thalassa odair - Thalassa is the little sister of finnick they are 2 years apart. After her big brother's victory she lived in his shadow but she didn't mind. She trained for the games of course but she wasn't planning on volunteering but repeating day for the 69th hunger games she volunteered for a 12 year old girl who was reaped. She won her games at 16 , two years older then her brother was when he won his games. You well mainly find her floating in the water of district 4, diving for pearls or spending time with her brother if she's not in the capitol. For her I say Riptide by Vance Joy and Seraph by Little Max

Amorette snow- amorette or little rose as Nickname ironic I know. Is snow's youngest daughter. She's 28 years old. She is very seem at capitol events do to her having medical condition that makes her light headed and because sick easily. She's short, has pale skin and white hair. She actually surprisingly a very kind and caring person gave who she's related to. But she can be rule and spoiled at times. She loves gardening, jewelry and having visitors she gets bored easily. For her I definitely say young love & old money by Elizabeth Gerardi and Family line by Conan Gray

he’s spreading the winter storm that covers the forest in an attempt to cover the world in ice and make it similar to the horizon he’s from! that’s where the AU title comes from! “Frozen Forest”

Umbra was originally just a moon god who blessed the royal family with magic, and every few years there was a ceremony to let him come to earth for a bit so he could interact with people and give blessings

However there was a war and so the ceremony wasn’t performed so he started to corrupt

And then when he was summoned next he lashed out so he was sealed up. He was tied still to the royal family.

When King Prynce dead (read, poisoned by a third party that’s not relevant to the plot it was just a royal assassination in an attempt to have Vanessa marry another who was of royal blood not the commoner she loved) and then Vanessa’s guard was also killed she fell into a depression thus feeding the negativity to Umbra who corrupted even worse, taking in Vanessa’s feelings to just freeze the world because she felt so cold.

He’s been held back by the grim of her guard but sadly she’s not strong enough by herself as she’s a simple grim. Over 400 years and she’s not doing so great but then Vance and Lukas show up and Van’s presence is able to kinda push Umbra back but without the proper ceremony Umbra is spreading the cold still.

Lukas, Estelle, and Vance try to perform the ceremony but it backfires and just frees Umbra so they have to fight him.
