Next to the Bennett's, the Coldwater's are the most powerful magician family in the magic realm. There has always been a strong bloodline in the family, almost everyone in the family is a frost mage. Except for Anne who uses fire magic and Medivh whose strength is arcane magic. 

The women of the family are related by blood to the Bennetts, for their mother was a Bennett and took her husband's name after she married. And what you should know about Medivh and Khadgar: thanks a magic potion, they don't get older anymore... for almost a century :x

Rylie, Anne and Cara are the youngest in the family and were born in the current timeline and are still in the beginning stages of their education.

Finally, I made it >.< Next to the Bennett's this family is one of my favorites and I just can't believe it took me so long to make this post... but it reminds me so hard how much it annoys me and still frustrates me that I cancelled the story I had planned for them. I'm definitely not going to give up on the magicians completely, but right now it's just too much for me >.<

Rylie asks Remus for private lessons again, after all, he is the best at the magic school. He has the best marks in all subjects and courses he takes and he has been there for the longest time. But how long he’s been studying magic, he hasn’t revealed yet.

Rylie: I knew I’d find you here.

Remus: Yes, wherever there are books to read!

Rylie: Can you help me please, with my homework? I still don’t understand all this so good.

Remus: Are you sure you’re in the right place if you’re having problems with all this in your first year?

Rylie: Please, I want to learn and understand.

Remus: Fine, but don’t tell the others! I don’t have time to help any more classmates… Do you have the cookies again?

Rylie: You mean the ones you ate last time?! I had baked them myself.

Remus: I guess we’d better go to the kitchen!

Rylie: …and what about my homework?!

Remus: Sweetie, you know the price… let’s go!

Rylie and Remus spend a lot of time together, learning is so much more fun when you have such a handsome teacher.

Remus: If I can give you any advice, then take as many subjects as you can and attend all courses… except to tell fortunes, you don’t have to do that to yourself.

Rylie: But that’s one of my favorite subjects.

Remus: This has nothing to do with real magic and is just a stupid pastime!

Rylie: Don’t let Bonnie hear that! She believes in it and I believe in it too.

Remus: Hmm… don’t tell me you’ve had a positive experience with this!

Rylie: Maybe.

Bonnie tries to predict her best friend’s future again, but Rylie always wants to know the same thing… when does she finally meet Mr. Right?!

Bonnie: Do you want to know something else?

Rylie: No, that’s the only thing that really interested to me!

Bonnie: Well, then, I’ll see what the cards say. Maybe gives something new.

Rylie: Thank you.

Bonnie: Hmmm… OK!

Rylie: …and! what do the cards say?!

Bonnie: Apparently, you’ve already met Mr. Right. You just don’t know it yet.

Rylie: …really? And who is it?!

Bonnie: Rylie, that would be too easy… you must figure it out for yourself!

Rylie: All right, but are we gonna come together soon?

Bonnie: Hmmm… No, it looks like it’s gonna take forever!

Rylie: What, why?!

Bonnie: You two are a special case when it comes to love.

Rylie: Great, I hate my life.

Bonnie: Oh sweetie, I’m here for you! Do you want ice cream?

Rylie: Mint ice cream with chocolate pieces, please!

Rylie: The cookies, just like it did last time… satisfied?

Remus: Yep! Say, why are you so crazy about bats?

Rylie: Well, I think she’s cute and fascinating.

Remus: And what is with vampires? Do you want to be a vampire later?

Rylie: What no! Why are you asking me?

Remus: Because you always around here in these “sexy witch, bite me please” outfit on the way!

Rylie: Excuse me?! NO! I don’t want to be bitten or turned by a vampire. I only like bats, but I don’t vampires!

Remus: Then that’s good because you can’t be both. Either you’re a witch or a vampire and then all the time you spend studying magic would be wasted.

Rylie: No, I choose to do the magic.

Remus: This is the right way, trust me!
