since theres apparently so much acorn lore could you summarize just his key surface-level character details (personality, family, occupation, etc) before you get to all the heavier world building trauma shenanigans

(hehe bounces around ive been waiting for this question for 11 months and 6 days now

Acorn is the member of a exploration team by the name of Team Seasky! The team is split into subteams, one being the Seedot Treehouse, made of entirely seedots +evos and fusions including seedot +evos.

Acorn, due to his once held role of being the Strongest Pokemon in the World of Coldour (the arpg he was in) he always appeared to be brave and confident…instead hes super anxious and nervous all the time but only shows this side to people in the seedot treehouse, having quite alot of fears and tramas from most of his original family being brutally murdered in front of him, the main fear mostly being of the sight of blood or gore (which is quite the bad thing when your always fighting a rival with a very heavy bloodthirst)

Acorn lived with his mom and uncle as a Seedot, Kaede and Micheal, and they lived next to another of Acorn’s uncles, Piccolo (can elaborate on them later) when a certain ‘trama’ event happened, causing Acorn to have to run away before being found by the leader of Team Seasky, Dew the Oshawatt (now a dewott)

Acorns entire team is like his family, which is…alot, but the main ones are Nuzbot, a robotic nuzleaf that Acorn thinks of as his brother, Oswald, Acorn’s aunt, Applesauce, one of acorns actual kids from when he was dating Tea the Tsareena. He’s currently married to MP3 the Meloetta, and they love eachother dearly hehehhebsksnjd they are the only couple ive drawn kissing minus a object oc couple i have.

at first he kinda forgot all his trama, like he tried to forget it, and did when he was first in Team Seasky, as all he wanted to do was become the strongest Pokemon in the team (which he very much is now) until he faced a Pokemon named Mother Nature, a brutal deerling/phantump fusion who killed everyone Acorn was traveling with (a scraggy, a snivy, and a pancham) which just reminded him of his trama 🎉🎉🎉

EDIT: OOOPS I FORGOT ABOUT BLADE ok Blade is the bloodthirsty guy, a Bisharp/Liepard fusion thats gone absolutely feral, really just out for revenge as Acorn’s uncle, Micheal, had defeated Blade’s mom, Darkmatter, in a battle long ago, so Blade killed him, acorns mom, cut off piccolos hand with piccolos own beloved surfboard, and almost killed acorn. Blade joined team seasky with the same intent to kill acorn, but having not been able to find the treehouse where they reside. He found it (recently) however, and brutally attacked and murdered Acorn’s best friend and co-leader of the group, Pest, a Bug-Type nuzleaf who secretly had a crush on Acorn

‘summarize it’ proceeds to write whole ass paragraphs summarizing just a little of his lore, anyways thanks about the design part! Hes based off the White Oak Tree, with mainly the color sceme and his leaf)

About to explain why below

SO TEEHEE I LOVE THIS SONE NUMBER ONE OK

So one day during school i was listening to this right

And I thought as i was drawing Acorn in a old notebook: hey what if i drew acorn in this dudes idle?

It was awesome

it gave me a lore idea

So what I thought was that the one short cutscene in the song is DEFINITELY the Lore 10 part of Acorn, as he was weak and pathetic in that state

the rest of the song is the lore 12 part, as Acorn goes through some yu yu hakusho ass shit in lore 11 to come back to life, and while hes doing this, Blade (a dude who REALLY wants to torture and kill Acorn, and who i imagine to be BF in this song) murders Acorn’s ‘brother’, Nuzbot, and his cousin, Oswald due to Acorn and Piccolo (acorns uncle who died of a painkiller overdose around tge same time) not being to protect the Seedot Treehouse at the time

Acorn doesn’t like this, so in lore 12, he actually comes back at his full strength, finally, after like ~10 years, beats tge shit outta Blade, which causes Blade to finally leave him alone for a while

OK SO MP3 is one of the only survivors, along with Applesauce, Pest, Limefruit (design below under spoiler thingy), and Nuzbot.

MP3 anx Applesauce are trying to figure out a cure, while the other three are off kinda doing their own things

The Infection here is a pokemon usually gets the insomnia status condition. However, it cant go away with the usual item fot that that i forgot the name of, and the longer that pokemon stays awake for, the more they slowly start deteriorating, despite the pokemon themselves slowly becoming more energetic and violent, as well as stronger. They can sometimes even gain new random traits and can fuse with other Pokemon if the right conditions are met

soem of the infectged:

Piccolo - Drowned by Nuzbot. Infected Anchor and Acorn. Was the first to get the infection after fighting a glitched Darkrai he found near the beach he usually surfed at.

Anchor - Drowned by Nuzbot, was semi-fused with Piccolo. Drowed after Nuzbot threw her anchor into the ocean, dragging her and Piccolo down with it.

Acorn - Fused with Blade and Cook, a absolute menace, the strongest Pokemon fused with two feral insane cannibals infected with something making them more wild is not a good combo. Also has the extra trait of Winged+Luminous
