Illustrating some scenes from the life of Shazidra, my mag'har shaman, from her being taught as a young woman by the Farseer of her clan, to her decade long imprisonment by the Blackrock clan, her finally escaping thanks to Khadgar and the adventurer's expedition on AU Draenor and then finally unleashing the shaman powers that were always supposed to be hers, against both the Iron Horde and the Legion.
Oh and of course, Shazi and Khadgar on a nice stroll around Dalaran, because Khadgar is the 2nd best reason to leave your own timeline and become displaced in another parallel universe 💙 (right after getting revenge on Gul'dan for destroying your home and family)

Another WIP I wanted to share, something light-hearted. Just because Khadgar is wheelchair-bound, doesn’t mean he can’t have fun...especially with an energetic monk gf. (Yes, the wheelchair floats, but hush).
Shout-out to @skymagpie , because the game didn’t give me the facial references I needed (like genuine happiness), so her Khadgar drawings have been invaluable.

Okay so because my brain needed a distraction because it wasn't going to be sleeping I decided to finally dig out my WoW fanfic that I've been off and on thinking about since I started posting on ao3. It was just over 50k. Written in the summer of 2020.
-way better than I remembered. I was delighted by characters and plot beats, which feels weird to admit but it's true
-needs edits and additions. This is a bit of a problem as my knowledge for the game is really packed away in mental storage.
Also it's a Khadgar x oc story but also an oc x oc story and while the oc with khadgar is with him she runs into an old love that is still special....
So basically this story is about a bunch of my damn toons and then khadgar is there sometimes lol...I don't know exactly how much market is out there for a bunch of OC's in a world.
Also this is another of my fanfics that if I did some tooling and sanded the serial numbers off it could be its own world. I'm not going to do that because at that point it'd be easier to just start over and it's meant to be a fanfic but ... I have a habit...this is the fourth long fic I've done that is like this...
Oh and this fic takes place through bc and wotlk years...I had outlines for stuff to happen in cata, a single chapter for mop is written, I had outlines for all the xpacs.....and I can't do them anymore but then these characters stories are unfinished.

Some little things about Ciel's parents:
Medivh's nickname for Kelyth, Ciel's mom, was "Young Tempest"
During Legion, when Khadgar and Medivh were reunited, Medivh was shocked to find out that Kelyth had died less than a year after he had. He hadn't even known Kelyth was pregnant.
During Shadowlands, once Kelyth feels secure enough with contacting Ciel as a Kyrian while her daughter is alive, one of the first things she asks after is Medivh and Khadgar.
When Khadgar went through the Dark Portal to Outland to go close it, Ciel stayed with her maternal grandparents, Daelin and Katherine Proudmoore. (I have a personal headcannon that when the Dark Portal was destroyed, Khadgar was flung through a stray rift while Dreanor was freaking out, and sent back to Azeroth so he could raise Ciel.)
When Khadgar was shot down with his gryphon by orcs, just before becoming Medivh's apprentice, Kelyth said "fuck it" and dropped from her gryphon to go back him up.
Kelyth, being the second-born of Daelin Proudmoor, had gone through several magic teachers from Dalaran and other places and promptly surpassed them in knowledge and ability before the Council of 6 got sick of her and sent her off to Medivh with Khadgar.
Kelyth had originally planned to have a water birth with Ciel, as that is (in my headcannon at least) the tradition in Kul Tiras, and it is believed that if a child is born outside of the water that they won't be able to swim and might drown. Kelyth's last words to Khadgar are "Make sure she can swim."
When she arrived in Bastion, Kelyth looked for Medivh everywhere she could. She didn't find him, but still held out hope that they would meet again.

thinking about natine finding out she’s pregnant with lor’themar’s child a month or so after she leaves silvermoon, their relationship fractured almost beyond repair since nat refused to disobey her loyalty to sylvanas and betrayed her own people in the process. she doesn’t tell lor’themar, doesn’t tell anyone, just runs away and buries herself in her work at the edge of the world. she falls back into her faith, lets it guid her as best it can while she’s struggling to reconcile everything she’s lost. lor’themar only realises he has a daughter when faylin is five years old and sent to study in dalaran under the close, protective eye of khadgar.

Reunited
Spoilers if you don’t know how the campaign (so far) ends. A short taking place right after the cutscene in which Alleria and Anduin save Khadgar, in which Khadgar and OC are reunited:
Was it over?
Light had returned to Beledar, the cystal once more glowing with the warmth of a sun. Narami walked up the stairs to the priory’s doors, the Broken Queen behind her.  After the long battle, the monk’s limbs felt heavy, but she steeled herself for whatever was waiting inside. Alleria and Anduin had gone in to face Xal’atath, and though the light had returned and their enemies were retreating, the night elf worried for the two.
When her hands touched one of the handles, a muffled voice could be heard from within. “Easy, we’ve almost made it.”
Anduin! And by the sound of it, he was supporting a wounded Alleria. Not wasting another second, Narami threw open the priory’s portals, only to nearly run into a surprised looking King of Stormwind.
“Narami. Are you alright?”
“Nothing worse than bruises and scrat...” Her words died on her lips, when she saw not two, but three people leave the priory. No, Anduin wasn’t supporting Alleria. Between the two of them was perhaps the last person she’d expected to see. Quickly, she stepped out of the way as they helped him over the threshold and eased him down, so he could lie more or less comfortably on the cold stone.
Narami was on her knees beside him in but a moment, heart and thoughts racing. “I thought I’d lost you,” she breathed and removed her cloak, folding it into a small square to serve as a temporary pillow.
Khadgar managed a weak smile, as she placed it beneath his head. “Forgive me, for not keeping my word.”
We’ll be right behind you.
Narami shook her head. “Never mind that. You’re alive; that’s all that matters.” Part of her couldn’t believe it, even as she gasped one of his hands and gave it a gentle squeeze.
He returned the gesture, but there was no strength in it. “You have Alleria and Anduin to thank for that,” he muttered.
Of course, how could she forget? “Thank you. Both of you.” And she meant it with all her heart, however they had managed to bring him back. Something to inquire about later. She looked to Anduin, who kneeled down beside them. “Does that mean you’ve found back to the light?”
“Yes...I believe in a way I have.” There seemed to be a lot on his mind, but he was smiling softly. It was good to see him like this. Narami placed a reassuring hand on his arm, the other still holding Khadgar’s, refusing to let go.
One questions yet remained. “What of Xal’atath?”
“Retreated; I believe she’s suffered a significant setback today.” Alleria’s eyes turned to the hills and caverns beyond the priory, likely thinking of Turalyon. “What of the battle?”
“We’ve beaten them back. From what I’ve been able to see from up here, the fighting is dying down everywhere and the surviving nerubians are retreating.”
“Then fortune smiles on us today.” She actually did sound relieved, something akin to hope lingering in her voice. “Traces of Xal’atath’s presence linger in the air. In time, she will strike again. But for now, I believe we’ve all earned some respite.”
“I’ll have Kazrah open her best cask.” Knowing her Brewmaster friend, the orc surely had one stashed away somewhere ,just for such a celebratory occasion. Khadgar shifted beside her into a more comfortable position, the sight all but confirming what Narami had already feared. “You can’t move your legs.” It wasn’t a question. She’d seen the others carry him, and while lying here, he had moved everything but them.
“A small price to pay, all things considered,” he assured her with another gentle squeeze, his thumb brushing across the back of her hand.
Though he spoke the truth, it hurt to see him pay yet another hefty physical toll. Was he in pain? He certainly looked exhausted. Restoring him, if such a thing was possible, was beyond her abilities. She was no Mistweaver, only basic proficiency with the healing arts. Enough skill to be of some aid perhaps.  Narami pulled her hand away from Anduin’s arm, to frame her beloved’s face instead, feeling him lean into her touch. Jade energy soon enveloped her hands as she tried to expel as much negative chi from him as possible. “Permanently?”
Khadgar exhaled, already looking less pale. “I’m afraid so, though only time will tell. I’ll explain later,” he promised, his voice growing quieter with each word.
“We’ll figure something out; until then.” Narami leaned closer and tenderly kissed his forehead, his skin a little cool against her lips. “I’ll be right beside you, my love.”
He hummed, his eyes flickering, as if he was struggling to stay awake. He deserved to rest. For a while she sat with him, guiding the flow of chi, despite how tired she felt herself, Anduin beside them, Alleria keeping watch.
“You think he’s stable enough for transport?” the young king asked after some time.
The monk hoped so; she was no true healer and Anduin had only just regained his connection to the light, not to mention the toll the battle had exacted from all of them. “Khadgar? You’re still with us?”
“Just resting my eyes, dear,” he affirmed, if wearily so.
“Think you can handle the journey to Dornogal?” Alleria asked him, still worried for her old friend. “It’s quite a way, even with the aid of wings.”
“I’ll manage.” His eyes flickered to Narami. “Besides, I won’t be alone.”
The two elves exchanged a glance and Alleria nodded. Narami pulled out a whistle, the sound it emitted not audible to the human ear and quiet even to an elf. But it was not meant for either. It took a few minutes until Narami spotted a blue speck above, quickly growing in size. He spotted them as well, roaring to announce his approach. The highland drake circled the priory twice, before landing on the staircase to avoid hitting any of them, walking the last bit.
“Glad you could hear me, Thyellagos,” the night elf greeted her companion.
“I admit I almost didn’t; sounds travel strangely in these caverns,” the young drake confessed, before his dark eyes spotted Khadgar on the ground and widened. “Is that...?”
“Yes, which is why we need to return to Dornogal as swiftly as you can carry us.”
"Of course. Get on.”
Thyellagos laid down as low as he could go. Narami got into the saddle first, Alleria and Anduin helping Khadgar onto the drake after. When it was done, the archmage was leaning with his back against her, one of the night elf’s arms securely wrapped around his mid, to help keep him in the saddle.
Narami gasped the reins with her free hand, turning to the others one last time. “What about you?”
“Don’t wait for us. Khadgar still requires care. We’ll catch up.” The void elf promised, before smiling at Khadgar. “I know he’s safe with you.”
As long as she lived and breathed. Narami nodded and turned to her blue drake. “Thyellagos; gently, not a single spin today.”
The young one huffed, as if insulted she would think of him as so inconsiderate. Both Alleria and Anduin stood back to give him space as he flapped his massive wings, getting into the air much more slowly than usual. Narami held Khadgar close, making sure he couldn’t slip from the saddle. As if sensing her tension, he placed a hand on her arm in turn.
She smiled and inclined her head, letting it rest upon his shoulder, even as the wind began to howl in her long ears when Thyellagos soared. Part of her was still processing the last half hour. He was back, alive, here in her arms. It almost seemed too good to be true, like a fleeting dream. But she felt him, his weight against her body, his chest rising with each calm breath. Khadgar shifted ever so slightly in her embrace, his nose brushing against her cheek, followed by a feathery kiss. Her heart leapt for joy, warmth spreading into every fibre of her body, driving away the fatigue, which had plagued her. To share a moment like this again. It felt like a second chance and she would not waste it.
...
Bonus Thyellagos, 'cause he's a good boy:
