Lucifer

-He intimidated her at first, especially with all of their early adventures, but she learned to stand up for herself and not let him be mean to her. Romantic feels soon developed after that.

 -Lucifer tolerated her at first, being the human exchange he was responsible for (basically making sure she didn't die before the school year ended and that was supposed to be it). And yet, she kept getting in trouble! Like a lot of trouble! She had a good head on her shoulder and kept making nice with his brothers, it made him suspicious! Things come to a head when Belphie comes back into the fold and he was about ready to kill her, but finding out she was a descendant of Lilith and her pure heart and intentions changed his mind. When he realizes he doesn't scare her anymore, he changes to teasing tactics, not sure either when his feelings turned this deep, but he was soon finding he hates the idea of this little human not being in his life anymore.

Mammon

-Mammon felt neutral about her at first, annoyed that Lucifer had saddled him with the defenseless human, making him responsible for the little human, but he comes to respect her more as time goes on, soon becoming close siblings. He has little bits of yellow in his line as he does live in low-key fear of her using the stay command on him.

-Miri tolerate-cares about him most of the time. He can be sweet and endearing, but he is kinda dumb and asks for money like all the time. His endearing side wins out more than his greedy side, thus why she'll call them friends and siblings.

Levi

-Levi tolerated her at first, using her to get his money back from Mammon, but then she uses him to get the TSL record to distract Lucifer, so they were even, in a way. He softens up towards her when she keeps checking in on him, and finding that she's an excellent player two and loves dressing up in frilly cosplays with him, and asking after Henry. For a normie, she's alright.

-She likes to think she and Levi are friends as some of their interests align nicely. She likes wearing girly, frilly things, playing video games, and seeing his weird pets. She thinks he's cool, yet has learned to keep her enthusiasm in check else Levi might faint from too much praise.

Satan

-She was intimidated by him at first as Satan can be a lil scary, especially when he's mad. After the body-switching incident with Lucifer, the two grew closer, finding common ground and becoming friends after that. Miri is still confused as to why he insists on her being a part of the Anti-Lucifer League, but has stopped questioning it after a while, as there are times when the eldest gets on her nerves too, so she knows Satan and Belphie have her back if and when she needs to get vengeance.

-Satan was neutral towards her at first, just another loud mouth joining up with the other loudmouths at the House of Lamentation. Then Miri started getting pacts with everyone, which was annoying Lucifer, and of course, Satan was always up for annoying Lucifer, so he tried to get a pact too, but Miri said no, not wanting to make a pact for petty reasons (she was wanting Lucifer's respect, not to make him mad at her nor to reveal the real reason she was making all these pacts). Satan gets mad at her instead, setting off the events of the body-switching event, bringing the two closer together. Satan made her an honorary member of the Anti-Lucifer League, much to her confusion. It's more to give her a place to belong, plus he likes using her to annoy Lucifer still, even if she's unaware of this fact. He also likes her soothing presence, the real, actual reason he keeps her with the Anti-Lucifer League.

Asmo

-Asmo was neutral towards her at first as well, kinda miffed yet interested as to why his powers don't work on her, but soon just chalks it up to a weird coincidence and leaves it at that. When she borrows Solomon's magic at the sleepover at the Demon Lord's Castle and summons Asmo for help, however, he gets a taste of Miri's power and finds that he likes the feel of it. Despite failing his challenge, Asmo agrees to a pact anyway and becomes super affectionate and friendly towards her, wanting to keep a close eye on what her power was going to do next.

-Miri was neutral towards Asmo, if more on the tolerating side as he keeps trying to bring her under his spell, yet it keeps not working. Yet, it comes needing more pacts, she accepted Asmo challenge at the Demon Lord's castle, borrowing Solomon's magic to help her. Despite the challenging ending in failure, Asmo still agrees to the pact after experiencing a taste of Miri's hidden power. They grow to be friends, with Asmo being more physically affectionate than most (he loves hugging and kissing her cheeks at random).

Beel

-Beel was neutral towards her at first, being another house mate in the House, so he doesn't pay much attention to her. His mind is changed when she stands up for him and Luke, being powerless to protect herself, let alone a much larger demon and an tiny angel. His respect and love grows more when she gives a little bit of her life wax from her life candle to restore his. She's human so her life is going to be significantly shorter compared to his and she gave part of her short lifespan to him without a second thought. He cares for Miri so much now, stepping in for her is second-nature to him.

-Miri was a little bit intimidated by Beel at first, given that he's a big guy that doesn't talk a lot, but he loves food more than most things. But, once she saw how much he loved and cared for his family, she wasn't scared of him anymore, finding him more endearing than scary. They became friends after their pact, growing closer as time went on. Beel worries sometimes if she's eating enough as times when she goes to the human world, she always feels lighter when he picks her up, so he makes sure she eats first whenever they reunite with everyone as he doesn't want her getting sick or wasting away from not eating.

Belphie

-Belphie is neutral towards her, more seeing her as a means to escape the attic. He starts off secretly hating her as he initially had a huge grudge against all humans because of what happened to Lilith, so his initial plan was to kill her after she freed him, and that was how things were destined to go, but Barbatos had to step in and use his time magic so that there were two Miris running around. He got to kill one of them, but the other one escaped, also revealing that she is Lilith's descendant, to everyone's shock. He grew to tolerate her presence, though she was smart in not leaving herself alone with him, always making sure at least one brother was with her in his company. It was both as a protection for her and a way to bring Belphie back into the family fold. She soon grew less afraid of him (though she did keep her distance for a good while) and Belphie saw that, despite her humanness, she had a good heart and the brothers obviously cared about her, so Belphie started caring about her too, if usually annoyed her more than most of the others.

-Miri is intimidated by Belphie as he did lie and manipulate her, then he tried to kill her, so she has every reason to not go near him. But, Belphie was family to the brothers, so while she mostly kept her distance and made it so she was never alone with him for long, she did learn to tolerate him. Nowadays, he more annoys her than anything, with him calling her when he gets lost on a bus trip and expects her to come and find him in the middle of nowhere. He's also heavy when he falls asleep on top of her, so if he's cuddling her, she's not going to be moving any time soon, no matter how much she tries to shove him.

Diavolo

-Miri was intimidated by Diavolo at first, as he is one of the first demons she meets and he's a prince! He's royalty! But she's not scared for long, given his friendly and outgoing nature. He's always curious about her, always asking about the Human Realm and inviting her for tea at the Demon Lord's Castle. She sees them as good friends.

-Diavolo thinks she's interesting as things were starting to get a little stale in Devildom and he likes the energy that Miri brings whenever she comes by. Might have a little bit of a crush on her, but knows that his position makes a romance with a human difficult, so he holds himself back out of respect. The last thing he wants is to hurt Miri, but still drops some major hints that he really, really likes her on occasion.

Barbatos

-Barbatos is probably the most neutral towards Miri out of all the cast. He thinks she brings an interesting dynamic to the Devildom residents, especially towards the Young Master, so he'll mostly help her if asked but is more than happy to sit back and enjoy the show that is Miri's antics.

-Miri is a little intimidated by Barbatos but is overall neutral towards him. His time powers kind of scare her (as it was thanks to them, she got to see what she looks like as a corpse and that wasn't a pleasant sight). She's also still peeved at him because of the Furry Tag game, the Betrayal™ at the end of the game has deeply soured her towards Barbatos, not to the point of hating him, but it's gonna take a lot to get her to trust him again, and that's saying something as this is a girl with seven demon pacts under her belt. Barbatos is a little heartbroken to learn this information.

Luke

-Luke thinks of her as his big sister (despite him being quite a bit older than her). He thinks she's cool, standing up to demons the way she does. She's also really smart and likes helping him out on occasion.

-Miri sees Luke as her little brother, cute and has a lot to learn about the world (or worlds as she's come to learn herself).

Simeon

-Miri thinks Simeon is really cool and likes spending time with him. She's also really upset at how the Celestial Realm treated him (among other things) so she's always worried if he's okay up there, especially with the last events of the story. She tells him to not let them walk all over him and that he would always have a place amongst friends in the Devildom.

-Simeon thinks she's really sweet and he's glad that he and Luke have made friends with such a wonderful person. He would gladly go through with stealing the Ring of Light for her a million times over if it meant that she would live a happier life because of it. Also might have a tiny crush on her too.

Solomon

-Solomon thinks she's the greatest thing since sliced bread. Seriously, he's so proud of her because she learns so quickly and is so earnest and sweet when she's learning from him, he really can't get enough of her!

-Miri was neutral towards Solomon at first, their relationship turning to tolerance after the Night Dagger incident. Like, yes, he is a good teacher, but he had wanted her to stab Lucifer once upon a time, and she's not going to forget that any time soon. She's also incredibly sour about keeping the secret of her travelling to the past from the brothers as she's desperately wants to tell them the truth, but Solomon keeps stopping her for reasons he's refusing to tell her. Thus why she's in a tolerance ship with him, but just barely. Any other incidents like the time travel fiasco and she's telling her bros everything, no matter what Solomon says.

Thirteen

-Miri was a little intimidated by Thirteen at first, she even apologizes when they properly meet as she had sneaked into her cave with the others to help with Beel's life candle. And Thirteen really likes traps, so that was also another point in the intimidating scale. But, once they worked together in the three group activities with Raphael, they grew closer, at least enough to become friends. They also have a mutual kinship in Solomon hating, thus making them stronger friends.

-Thirteen thought she was a strange little human, quirky and no intimidating aura at all. Was this really the human that took down seven of the strongest demons in Devildom by herself? Plus, she was also working with Solomon, of all people, so there was clearly something odd about this little human, right? Well, she's also got a pure, shiny soul, like what Solomon used to have. She also found the human quite sweet and earnest with whatever she did. Maybe hanging out with her wouldn't be so bad. Thus started their friendship.

Mephisto

-Mephisto mainly ignores Miri for the most part, but he can only do that for so long because the brothers keep bringing her around, so ignoring her is pretty hard to do. Lord Diavolo likes her too, so he should probably keep an eye on her too, to see what's so interesting about human that has taken Devildom by storm. He grows sympathetic towards her when she keeps repeating that she wants to go home, but Lucifer is refusing to bend to her wishes. So, because he hates Lucifer more than he likes Miri, he decides to help her out (in a way.) She also kinda reminds him of his younger brother, thus another reason he wanted to help her out. He wouldn't say they're really friends at this point, but he's come to accept her presence and not minding when she's around.

-She's a little annoyed at Mephisto as he looks down on the demon brothers, putting them down for a lot of things, especially Lucifer. He's never said anything demeaning about her, probably because she's not a demon and that she has Diavolo's good graces, thus why she's usually spared his insults. Her opinion about him changes a bit when he stands up for her to Lucifer, saying that the demon was being cruel in not respecting Miri's wishes in wanting to return home when he himself was in the same position not all that long ago. His heart was in the right place, but she wished that she didn't have to be cruel to Lucifer in the first place to get him to understand why she wanted to 'return home' so badly. She's still in a pretty neutral place towards the noble, but she does like hearing about his horses, so that's a point in his favor.

Raphael -Raphael is pretty neutral towards her, just a fellow exchange student that hangs out with Lucifer and the others a lot. He respects her efforts in trying to bring peace to the three realms, but isn't quite sure she can pull it off. They grow closer when she shows concern about Simeon's condition, as well as asking about his health retaining to the whole matter. She refuses to give up on him, even when he's sinking into his own despair and helps to ease his loneliness. He takes her advice in wanting to build a better home in the Celestial Realm, so that what happened with the brothers and Lilith doesn't happen again, and so that other angels like him don't have to be lonely anymore.

-Miri was excited to meet another Celestial Realm angel since she has good relations with Luke and Simeon, so this new angel will probably be good friends with her too, right? …Well, they do eventually become friends. Raphael is pretty quiet and keeps a lot of things to himself. He especially keeps his emotions bottled up, so Miri becomes naturally worried about him, especially with what's going on with Simeon. She tries her best to talk to him and help him, but he doesn't really open up until they were all literally in danger, when he reveals how lonely he is without Simeon, Luke, and even the seven brothers as they aren't in the Celestial Realm anymore. Miri and the others do their best to comfort him, Miri the most insistent on making sure that he's okay.

More about the Walking Fate series. This series somewhat sticks to the compliance of canon, but there are times where it diverges. Mostly in regards to characters and their arcs and survival (or death), plus some plot elements being replaced/repurposed. There's about five planned "seasons", with four of them taking the canon compliance route while the fifth is an original plot. I'm also treating Walkers with more respect; they're pretty much a death sentence if anyone is unprepared for them, or god forbid, come across a Herd. Malcrum and Clementine's relationship is in no means meant to impede on the canon relationships she forms and that impact her, it is meant to be an additional and interesting idea to explore her character, especially with the inherent tragedy that ties them together and how it affects her character going forward (as well as my first time writing a relationship like this type in The UnTitledverse, which compared to its predecessors, is a story that doesn't resolve the tragedy with reconciliation between Malcrum and Clementine, emphasising the bitter nature of this bittersweet series). The tragic turn this relationship is of neither parties fault; it was simply bad luck. Malcrum, while separated from Clem and the group, happened to be at the wrong place, at the wrong time, picking up the wrong object, where his mind would (mostly) be fried and lose his agency/autonomy. Forced to watch a shell of himself harm, and at times, kill those he had come to care for or would have never wanted to do so to in the first place. The only person truly at fault here is not even in the series; that being Edward Carmine, for creating a device that probably violates more than what OSHA is concerned about. The series follows a theme of the power of resilience. Persisting in spite of the odds. Succeeding against adversity. Going to great lengths and trials to not only survive, but find a place to live. Which is why I chose this song for this series:

THE WATERS OF LIFE FLOW (FALLOUT 3)

His red lenses constricted as he focused on the super mutants patrolling the fortress. If the Vault-Tec data was to be considered correct, Vault 87 was in the heart of the lions den. Ore stood up, huffing out his breathing valve as his knees made a sickening creak. He stretched in preparation for his one-man assault, outstretching a palm to feel the nuclear residue of radiation through his palms.

He hummed in satisfaction as he felt the fatigue drift away from the exposure, far more alert and energized. Flame started to spark in his palms, summoning his fire so he may weld it into a more effective weapon against the FEV rejects he would - what was the word Ress used? "Pulverize"? Yeah, that's it - would enjoy pulverizing to cinders.

THE HOUSE ON TOP (FALLOUT: NEW VEGAS)

Her gaze shifted to the only man who was distinct compared to the group he lead. His ugly checkered suit hurt her retinas, just as his smug confidence enraged her. She wanted to break it, but Ryder settled with giving the man a silent glare as she continued to dig her own grave with bound hands.

WHAT HAPPENED TO VAULT NUMBER 76? (FALLOUT 76)

In spite of being enamored by the surge of energy that intoxicated his senses, the Matthias did share his own agreement with his venn's grim words; something changed in this world. A defilement to its nature, though healing from wounds that occurred long since they both last visited, can still be felt in the present. The drunken haze of atomic residue which threatened to become absorbed in Talos' material body was all he needed to know that an unnatural shift took place.

He glanced to his fellow traveler, his closest venn, and noticed a spark in the crevices of his eyes; blazing rings that looped around their orbs with a fury he had not seen in the Arcane Urias since his only loss to a fellow venn a decamillennium ago. Talos could tell Urias held an unsatisfied opinion on this unexpected change, but his offense to it was interfering with the focus he needed kept on his disguise. Talos would have to interfere, less they be found out as inhuman.

Not that there would be any significant consequence a humanite could inflict upon them should they be found out. Fragility was merely a concept to the Matthias and the Arcane, unburdened by the weakness that haunted the "dominant" species of this world.

And lastly a meme for the four main characters of my Wings And Horns WIP. Now to explain, they aren't technically a found family/group (at least, not when the pairs are together), they just happen to run in to each other so many times. Metatron and Azriel are partnered up to work together to preserve the Soulmate System, with Azriel supposed to be nothing more than a cadet aiding the Archangel, while with Xiang and Jezebel, Xiang is a demon from the Sloth Ring of Hell, who had adopted Jezebel, whose a Sinner's Soul of a damned girl (for unjustified reasons no less). These two pairs are in fact rivals in their opposing missions to protect and break the Soulmate System respectively.

MIRIAM AL - KHATIB, PHD: a summary.

an up - and - coming linguist, born originally in egypt but ultimately moved to massachusetts following her father's desire to be near his friends darius and raina shawky, as well as a chance to teach upper - level linguistics classes at MIT. as a result, she grew up with and became close friends with seth shawky. ultimately, miriam decided to follow in her father's footsteps and double majors in linguistics and history, choosing to particularly focus on her egyptian heritage. while completing her undergraduate degree at MIT, she meets buzzy cohen, shawky's best friend. while working on her phd in linguistics with a specialization in syntax, she became involved in the more adventurous aspect of shawky and buzzy's careers, but was not able to participate as much as she'd have liked to due to her academic commitments — however, after she successfully graduated from her phd program and obtained her doctorate, she was able to travel with them more often and lends her talents to them. she's also multi - lingual, able to speak multiple dialects of arabic, turkish, and is able to read hieroglyphs.

I was thinking long and hard about this one before I remembered that Camille literally sings a lullaby in The Wasp - Ally Bally Bee.

For those that don't know it, it goes like this:

Ally Bally, Ally Bally Bee, sitting on your mammy's knee. (??? I have no idea what this line is I've literally only ever heard it sung), to buy some Coulter's Candy.

While thinking about it, I also came to the conclusion that Miriam (Memento Vivere) liked the old tale of the Spartan boy that kept the fox hidden under his tunic and didn't make a sound even when it ate through his stomach and killed him, and was then heralded a hero for his stoic bravery. This explains everything about Miriam, I think.

franklin’s favorite color is indigo and in the non canon Bygone Era Of Lore his old love interest made fun of him for having a pretentious favorite color

raph will usually say his favorite color is red but it’s actually a color kind of between red and orange idk how to describe it but it’s really vivid in my head

atticus’s favorite color is gold and he would probably wax poetic about it in a way that some people would say is pretentious

miriam’s favorite color is turquoise (same as me lol)

sebastian has a few color motifs, the main ones are black and silver but he’s also a fan of pale champagne sorts of colors. silver is his actual favorite color but i wanted to include him bc he’s a pretentious bitch in general
