I keep forgetting I've never posted this. It was my part of the first issue of @whanewspaper's "Brushbug Bulletin" WHA OC fanzine

Once I had the idea of having Siahm make a weather forecast section, I was goddamn set. I don't know too much about meteorology though, sorry about any weird stuff I made up. Including the units of measure. And all those cities besides Kahln. And any meteorological association.

So in the modern AU Siahm smokes cigarettes

It took me very long but today I thought he could smoke in the canon setting too

Ocs' signatures. I thought that could be interesting

Tamirga: awful illegible handwriting. most often just signs with his initial.

Essarcrak: People wrongfully assume he can't write but that's just how his clan signs things.

Basalt: realised a signature didn't have to be a name. the eyebrows are more furrowed the less they are happy about signing that thing.

Siahm: good penmanship

Husher: illiterate

Aven: wax seal with his family's crest (dragon, dog and sword under the sun, I made that design on the spot idk)

I "just" have Siahm, he's a pointy hat witch specialized in weather magic, he travels around mainly making the weather nicer for farmers as a job. He's also known as the "Weather Man" (I find fun to headcanon that every weather magic witch gets nicknamed "weather man/lady/person haha)

He's shy, doesn't smile often, works himself to the bone because perfectionist (not all that good at magic so compensates by being a big nerd and sacrificing sleep) but he's a good person

His best friend is Ewyn (@kai23-art's character), we nicknamed the duo "rainforest". They met by random chance and got along super fast. Ewyn's like a brother to him, Knights Moralis be damned

I said "just" because I've designed Siahm's moms as well- the short-haired one is Asfah, the long-haired one is Vayrin. I haven't done too much with them. They live in a bigger atelier than Qifrey's (half a dozen resident adult witches and a few occasional ones that come and go) and they raised Siahm there.

Siahm himself is of mixed fantasy non-descript asian ethnicity but I created him after watching a couple fantasy costume c-dramas so his clothes ended up looking like those and I don't always know what to do with it
