Yep, they’re unlikely to rlly celebrate romantically. For PUPA…

He’d probably be people watching, and P/A spots him and goes “Oh, friend is here as well! Let’s bring him along with us :D”

As for Basar…

He’s unlikely to celebrate himself. But would probably allow for The Pharos members to have a break and stuff, while he works. Though, it feels a bit bad that their boss is left out even if he’s fine, so they’ll drop off some gifts instead.

(Basar doesn’t exactly have a sweet tooth, so it’ll take some time to get through them :P)

new oc!!! Her name is Emily, but she also goes by her vigilante name, Dead Pupa (the costume in the second pic is the updated one) --- After being bit by a radioactive spider during a biology class, she developes a great agility ,the ability to regenerate her limbs (spiders can do that) and heal very fast The mask she wears is an old thing her brother owned and she wasn't creative enough to create a more unique identity

Rooted Pupae: Void Steve and The Corrupted Rainbow Tree/Darkness Tree

Once Upon A Time, The Rainbow Tree was a symbol of unity, of life, creation itself. And from the Tree did it bear Fruit. The Rainbow Artefact. And such power was wanted, wanted by too many factions, but the guardians of the Tree. The Green Steve’s. Those of which is closest to the very trunks and leaves and power that it holds.

But no matter how neutral your stance would be, war will come. The Green Steve’s were attacked, pillaged, all for what? The Green King saw his people suffer, die, cry out. But no god answered them. No, not in these times.

So he went to the Rainbow Tree, prayed to the ancestors, the First of Every Chromatic, their spirits long veiled by the layers of bark.

The spirits answered his call, gave him power, but he could not contain this power, no. His suppressed resentment and hatred grew and grew and what was once supposed to be a gift to stop the war overcame the tree, trapping the spirits and putting them to slumber, and corrupting the King.

He was no longer the Green King. It was Void. And through its beauty and an ancient dance shall it wreak havoc, revenge for all the suffering caused, for the hubris and sin of Stevekind.

Judgement Day.

And we can only pray that it does not see or hear us.

Metamorphosis.

Yūsuke was really into bugs as a kid. Especially butterflies. He wanted to become one when he grew up. Something he was bullied for a lot at school. Only girls want to become butterflies when they grow up.

His father said:

“They don’t know what they are talking about. Of course, boy butterflies exist. Girl butterflies need boy butterflies to make eggs, which turn into caterpillars, then pupae and then, more butterflies. Butterflies could not exist without both boy and girl butterflies. They don't have all the facts, so don't listen to them”

Yūsuke had great parents, which he lost at the age of 8.

Yūsuke was put into a good foster home at the age of 14 and was officially adopted 6 months later.

At the age of 21, he has moved into his own apartment and is studying to become a forensic technician.

He sadly didn’t become a butterfly due to the things that happened to him in his pupa state, but he became a really beautiful moth.

Yūsuke is 26 at the start of his story, in the book series I’m currently writing on, and a fully trained forensic technician.
