I made a fan design for Max's parents.

I gave the names Kabir and Chanda Bhatt.

They both left India and moved to the USA shortly after their wedding.

Kabir became a very successful sales manager, and Chanda became a very successful market manager.

They didn't really feel like they wanted a child, but their families kept asking them when they were going to have one. It got to the point where they decided to have one just to stop their families from asking them about it. That child was Max.

They mostly just hire babysitters for him when they can't send him to school. They have been sending him to Camp Campbell for summer vacation ever since he 5.

They don't really know much about his likes and dislikes, other than the fact he likes the color teal and hoodies. So most of the time, when they need to get him a gift or something, they ask their coworkers what children are into and get him whatever they tell them.

One day, when he was around 6 or so, Max said he was interested in tap dancing. So they paid for lessons and all that. After a year, he told them he didn't want to do it anymore, and they didn't press further and put a stop to the lessons. Max didn't tell them it was because they never came to a preference.

How they would work in Dadvid AU:

After being confronted by David and Gwen on how they are being a bit neglectful to their child, they admit having a kid wasn't something they truly wanted and while they care for Max, at least a little, there still don't feel like parents nor do they know how to truly be parents. When they noticed how much David cares about Max, they asked him if he would like to take him. David states he would love to but he doesn't have a lot of money they say they can send him a good check at least once a month.

One thing leads to another David is now Max's guardian, while reserving large checks of money from his birth patents to help take care of him.
