3. How much use would your OC be at helping a friend choose their wedding dress (or suit)?

Jonah

FLEE. Do not ask him! He won't be of any help. He'll either pick the most basic suit/dress ever or just say everything his friend tries on looks nice. If it wasn't for Nate, he would have gotten married in a suit he already owned.

Madeleine

Maddie is your best pick if you're shopping for wedding attire. I mean she's been making her own clothes for years now, so it's one of her areas of expertise. She's asking so many questions about what her friend is envisionning and actually giving good advice/options to her friend. Her friend always ends up with their dream dress/suit with her.

Côme

With Côme it's 50/50. They'll either be giving insanely good advice and detailed reviews about the dress/suit their friend tries. Or they'll have their friend trying extravagant dresses/suits that do not match their taste. So, if you want something out of the ordinary, they should be your pick.

31. If your OC is in a relationship then what do they suspect they do that most annoys their partner? Are they correct in this belief? If they are single then what do they worry might annoy a prospective partner?

Jonah

His lego obsession and the fact that he actually puts money aside to fuel it. This very much stems from Bobby telling him it was a childish hobby, but he couldn't be any more wrong about anything. Adam and Nate both find it adorable. Adam appreciates that it's part of his motnhly budget because it shows he's being responsible about this. On the other hand, Nate is fueling his obsession and spoiling him with random trips to the nearest Lego store every now and then.

Madeleine

Ask for alone time. She's always scared Morgan will get pissed anytime she asks to be alone, but what she hasn't understood yet, is that Morgan totally gets it. She understands that Mads might need to recharge her social battery or simply needs some time to pamper. The only times Morgan gets a bit annoyed by it, is when Maddie requires alone time when she's in pain because she doesn't like the idea of Mads suffering on her own.

Côme

Rambling about X topic. They're very much wrong about this though. Felix adores when Côme goes on a tangent about a certain topic because not only is he learning new stuff about the human world, but Côme is also very cute when they start rambling. It has happened multiple times where Felix didn't hear a single word Côme said because he was too busy admiring them and thinking about kissing them.

37. Would your OC ever attempt to cook a romantic meal for a partner or prospective partner? How successful and/or funny would this end up being in reality?

Jonah

He would, but his culinary knowledge is very limited, so the food might not be very fancy but at least it will be good. He's not taking any risks about food on a date.

Madeleine

She's already done it multiple times, and her food is always scrumptious. Mads is a fabulous cook and she always puts all her heart in everything she makes and food is no exception. It actually made her a bit sad that Morgan doesn't eat because it meant she'll never get to try her food, but at least she's got Nat to share delicious meals with.

Côme

They would, but there's very high chances it would not end well. They survive off fast food, and canned/frozen food, and even then, they struggle following the instructions on the packaging. So, although it might end up with them having a good laugh if Côme were to cook, Felix is more likely to cook a romantic dinner for the both of them.

Jonah

I think he's the only one that might do both, but it all depends on the person who fell in love. In most cases, he would try to gently reject the other person by telling them he's not interested. He's done it often enough that he actually has a small 'scripted' speech prepared in his head at all times. The times where he would sneer at the other person though, would be if he knew the person and knew they either had a bad reputation or that they had ill intentions. Last case would be, if the person came out as too full of themselves upon confessing. He very much does not appreciate that kind of behavior and would become snarky upon rejecting them.

Madeleine

Now Maddie? Maddie is profusely apologizing. She apologizes if she's been accidentally giving mixed signals. She's apologizing because she cannot reciprocate. By doing that she's often caused the other person to feel bad about confessing in the very first place. Overall, those kind of scenarios are usually very awkward for her, but she tries to soften the blow as much as she can. She's the kind of person to set up a nice dinner to reject someone and it being completely mistaken as reciprocation, making it very awkard when the rejection part comes on.

Côme

They are so bad at rejecting people. They try to be gentle, but they're too brutally honest for that. It often sounds like they're thowing shade at the other person, when they're just genuinely confused. It probably goes something like this: -*other person confessing* C: what? why? -*lengthy explanation* C: oh, what made you think I was interested? -*other person not knowing if their question is genuine, decides to explain anyways* C: yeah... no, you got it wrong, I'm not interested *walks away*

26. Does your OC enjoy holding hands? Or are they too awkward to do this in public? Or possible too clammy?

Jonah

He's got mixed feelings about pda, but holding hands is probably the gesture he's most comfortable with. Don't get me wrong, Jonah's clingy, but good luck catching him doing pda. The gestures are either so subtle it's not noticeable (that's what he thinks), or he's just not doing anything. However, holding hands, is the one thing you might catch him doing on the regular and he secretly loves it.

Madeleine

She loves it. It's her top 1 form of pda. She loves how it's such a small gesture, yet it can be very intimate. She loves having to get used to her partner's pace. How she can sense a very small change in her partner's mood just by the way they hold her hand. She also loves that it's a gesture not only meant for her partner but also for her friends. In brief, it's her thing and she adores holding her loved-ones hands.

Côme

They love it, but gosh are they bad at it. They adore holding onto the person they love, any way or another, but they're too distracted for it to last long. One minute they're holding their partner's hand, the other they're caught in a lenghty speech about X topic and their hands are flying everywhere. Or they're walking and see something cool and they're either dragging their partner or straight up letting go of their hands. So yeah, they love it but in reality it only happens in short glimpses of time.

34. Is it usual for others to develop a crush on your OC? Are they usually oblivious to this? If not then how do they manage such things?

Jonah

Oh, yeah it happens often. Not so much that he's got people falling at his feet, but it does happen regularly and he almost always knows. He's good at picking up clues from other people, plus he knows he's a good looking guy. So, trying to keep a crush secret from him is usually quite hard. He'll try to act as if he doesn't know as long as he can, or do the complete opposite if he's interested in the other person. Although he often wonders why people crush on him because apart from his good looks, he's got a resting bitch face and not the nicest personality towards strangers.

Madeleine

It's not an unusual thing, but it doesn't happen very regularly either. Mads catching on it though, is a very rare thing. She often needs someone else pointing it out for her to notice, but even then she'd rather not notice at all, because she acts really weird when she knows. She becomes a very blushy and panicky mess that it got mistaken for reciprocation way too many times to her liking. But it turned out to be a good thing a couple times when she happened to also be interested in the other person.

Côme

It's a very unusual thing for them and they often don't have any clue what's going on. The person may be throwing very obvious clues at them, they're so oblivious, the clues just glide over their head. This has led to many awkward situations and people thinking they're an ass because of how they reacted (see the answer for the previous question)

A moose. Solely because they're very present around Wayhaven and he's convinced if he ran into one during one of their walks and had to fight it to protect Bo he could. Despite the fact that he has yet to see an adult moose so he pictures them smaller in his head than they actually are in reality.

Madeleine

Oh gosh, we're talking about the girl who went vegetarian as a kid because she saw the nanny cook a whole chicken and cried about it for weeks. The girl who puts spiders outside her window, crying the whole time she does because she doesn't want to hurt them but she's scared of them. But if someone held a gun to her head and asked, she'd probably pick a goose. She just thinks they're really sly and mean and they're the animal version of a bully.

Côme

I'm torn between a megamouth shark or a thresher shark. Côme just thinks they look quite dumb for sharks and they could easily fight a win against one of these two. Completely ignoring the fact that they don't have the physical abilities to fight humans, let alone sharks.

Yup. 100%. He broke his nose a few times so he sneezes through his mouth because he's scared it's gonna break again if it doesn't despite the fact that his nose is completely fine.

Madeleine

I was going to say no, but you know what? I can kinda see it, so it's an almost. Almost in the way that she sneezes loudly, but still tries to keep it discreet, although she fails half the time.

Côme

Nope. They have an average kind of sneeze, but they do tend to make funny faces when they sneeze.

🎤Can they sing and do they sing?

Madeleine

Surprisingly, she has a nice voice. It's not spectacular or anything like that, but it's really nice and soft and kind of soothing. She doesn't sing unless she's alone or thinks she can't be heard, so no one knows about it for now except Tina (because they were roomies in uni).

Côme

They can't. It's not that they're off rhythm, they're voice is just not made for singing. But they love singing at the top of their lungs and will inflict that curse upon anyone.

He is like hearing your favorite song at the most unexpected time. He's a sudden, soft, warm smile which hides a single dimple. It's having to constantly brush away the strands of his long hair falling in his face or watching him go about his day with his short hair completely dishevelled and having to hold back a laugh everytime he looks at you, but gosh he looks so damn cute like that. It's feeling the warmth of his body when he slow dances with you as he makes you listen to a song he likes. It's watching him focus so intently that he doesn't realize a little bit of his tongue is sticking out. His brown eyes looking at you with tenderness yet not being able to able to ignore the sorrow they hold. He's a whispered song in the middle of the night when you can't sleep.

Madeleine

She is like the smell of freshly baked bread coming out of a bakery. Warm and comforting. It's the soft rhythm of her heartbeat pulsing in your ear as she holds you close against herself. Her fingers following the words on the page as she reads. It's watching her get embarrassed when she takes out her glasses or seeing her frown and having to put them on for her. She's a dazzling smile that brightens up the whole room. It's listening to her sing off key while she dances in her underwear in the kitchen. It's watching her blush when your fingers caress her skin. A handwritten note she leaves on the bathroom mirror for you to find. Her hand reaching for yours during social events when her social battery runs out. It's hearing her whisper love confessions when she thinks you're asleep.

Côme

They're the sound of unrepressed laughter echoing in a room. It's their lips constantly finding a way to your skin. Their eyes shining with glee as they rambles about something you don't understand but that they're passionate about. The tickling brush of their hair against your skin when they nuzzle against you. It's their little excited jumps when they experience something really cool. Feeling their body relax against yours when they settle down next to you. The tidbits of yarn constantly stuck in their hair. Their hands looking for you during the night when you slipped out of their grasp. The lingering taste of candy on their tongue when they kiss you. They're the warmth of the summer sun shining through your window in the morning. The constant reminder that they love you.

💦 If you as the writer could erase one traumatic event from this OC’s life what would it be and why?

Jonah

I think I'd erase his relationship with Bobby. Their relationship destroyed him so he'd be so, so much happier if they didn't have any history together and he would have been able to navigate his blossoming relationship with Adam and Nate so much better if their relationship didn't leave him so scarred.

Madeleine

I can't think of anything for her. A lot of her trauma is related to her chronic illness and this is not something I would change about her.

Côme

This is not really traumatic, but if I had to change one part of their backstory, I'd surround them with a couple loyal, childhood friends. Growing up, they gravitated towards people who never stick around for them and made them feel awful about their personality. So, I'd give them a couple reliable friends they can trust, so that they don't end up being plagued with constant loneliness and insecurities about their personality.

14. Do they enjoy PDA, or are they more private with affection?

They love pda. These two are constantly holding hands, arm wrapped around the waist or shoulder when they're walking. Always have a hand on the other's lap, arm, knee when they're sitting next to each other. They give each other quick little pecks on the cheek, forehead, lips too. Overall, every cute little display of affection you can think of, they do it. They're just not the kind of couple who makes out in public, that they keep in private.

21. Do they enjoy domestic life?

It's not something that they've ever experienced before, so learning how to live with someone else is something really new to both of them and they really love it. Getting to learn about the other's quirks, their small habits. They get to exist in the same space and I think they'll never grow tired of that.

23. What are the defining characteristics of their relationship?

Their relationship is founded on trust, honesty, friendship, kindness and intimacy. I would love to add healthy communication to this, but at the moment, it's not their forte, especially on Côme's part, although it's likely to become one in the future.

30. What are their respective love languages? Do their love languages work well together?

Côme: gift giving & physical affection Felix: physical affection & words of affirmation

Their love languages work great together because they share one but also because the one they don't share kind of complement the other's personality/insecurities.

Felix loves Côme's habit of gift giving because it always reminds him that he's on Côme's mind a lot, and Côme always loves his excited little reactions when they give him something. Felix' love language, on the other hand, manages to lessen Côme's insecurities about not being enough, so being constantly reminded that Felix trusts them, believes in them and loves them, makes them more confident.

41. What would they do if they lost the other?

I think it would take a while for Côme to realize that they lost Felix. Like it wouldn't hit them right away and I can see them going on about their life as normal for a couple of days, because that didn't happen, right? This couldn't have possibly happened. Until they have that moment of realization and it hits them like a truck. They'd isolate themselves in their sorrow and someone, likely someone from UB who can get what they're going through in some ways, would have to look after them, help them get through it, make sure that they're eating and that grief isn't eating them alive. But eventually, when they processed Felix's death, they would try to always think about him in positive ways, do things they used to do or things they meant to do together to keep Felix alive in their memory. They would have that "Felix was a ray of sunshine and I need people to remember that" kind of mindset.

For Felix, it would hit right away, but I think he would have that "I need to etch every minute detail about them into my memory or else I'm scared I'll forget about them" kind of mindset. I feel like while he would feel immense sorrow about losing his loved one, he would need to talk about Côme, need to reminisce about happy memories they shared. He would love to hear about other people's memories too. I feel like this is something that would bring him even closer to UB, especially since I think he would need UB's help to not lose it when grief is threatening to eat up at him. He would need someone to remind him that he's allowed to mourn, that it's not going to tarnish Côme's memory. But in the end, I think he would have the same mindset as Côme's about needing people to remember that Côme was a ray of sunshine too.

42. What’s their relationship like with each other’s friends/families?

Côme settled pretty well within UB. They got on Ava and Mason's nerves a bit in the beginning but it all resolved as they got to know each other better. They always go to UB, especially Nat, when they want to do something for Felix. Overall right now, they get along like a group of close friends. They'll eventually come to think of UB as their family.

Felix is friendly enough with Rebecca but they're never going to be close friends and I don't see him as considering Rebecca as part of their family, because I'm not sure he sees Rebecca as more than their handler. He also doesn't really know where to stand with her because Côme's relationship with her is very neutral and not very child/mother like. As for friends, he gets along pretty well with Tina. These two instantly clicked together and while they're not besties yet, they def have each other's number. With Verda it's a little different. Felix is friendly with him but I hc he finds Verda a little intimidating, so he would love to get to know him more, he just doesn't really know how.

44. Do they cuddle often? Why or why not?

They do because why not? They both love physical affection and cuddling is perfect to unwind after a stressful day or just because they feel like it. So yeah, cuddling is a must

48. Do they talk about their future together? Why or why not?

They haven't really talked about it yet. Côme is someone who lives one day at a time so they do not really think about the future, but I can see it coming up at some point, during one of their late night convos. Or one of them, realizing in the middle of the night that they want to spend the rest of their lives with the other, so they wake them to tell them just that. So when they talk about it, it's in the form of random conversations or if Felix initiates it.

49. Do they keep secrets from each other?

They don't, mostly because they can't. These two are terrible at keeping secrets: Côme's every thought reads on their face and Felix lets everything slip out one way or another.

If they do keep secrets from one another, it's about stuff from their past they haven't talked about yet, but either plan on talking about it but haven't got the opportunity yet, or they do not feel comfortable enough to share that part of their past yet or it just slipped their mind. And even then, I don't really think that can be considered keeping secrets because they're not keeping it secret for the sake of it.

4. Are they more of a dom, sub, or switch? If applicable, are they a top, bottom, or vers?

Côme

Although they have a preference for subbing, that's mostly due to lack of experience. And despite the fact that I do feel like this preference might persist, I think they'd be more into switching in the future. For the other question, as of today, I don't have the answer.

Madeleine

Mads is a sub. She's tried it the other way and didn't really like it. She'd be up to trying again with Morgan, although she's pretty sure that might not change her opinion. As for the other question, Maddie prefers being on top. She struggled (and still is struggling) a lot with bodily autonomy, so although she's more comfortable being submissive, she's not ready to give up control any more and being a bottom freaks her out too much at the moment because of that. But this, I feel, might evolve as she gets more at ease with Morgan and she might be more into versing in the future.

Jonah

Jonah is a switch. He loves both dynamics. Whether he chooses one or another depends on the person he's with and his mood. The answer is the same for the rest of the question.

17. What's their go-to safe word?

Côme

They aren't very experienced, so they've actually never had to use one or even had a conversations about safe words before. So, I feel like, when the need arises, there are high chances that they would have forgotten to set one and they probably would blurt out a sea creature or dino name, as it would be all they could think of. Although I have to say it's quite effective and kind of kills the mood. But I think they'd use that word as their safe word after that.

Madeleine

For Mads, I think it would be something pretty basic, something like 'stop' or 'red'.

Jonah

For Jonah, I feel like it would be something pretty simple too, but this time in French, so that it doesn't get mistaken during role-play. So, something like 'arrête' (stop). He also has a non-verbal signal, for cases where he might not be able to speak, which his snapping his fingers three times.

22. Favorite thing/part about sex—intimacy, role-playing, etc.

Côme

For them, it's experimenting. They're at a stage where they want to start dabbling into things that aren't just vanilla. It's getting to know yourself and your partner and what works and does not work for each other and the connection that comes with that.

Madeleine

For Mads, it's the intimacy and trust. It's being able to give Morgan control and know that she won't do anything that will hurt her. It's being able to be vulnerable. She also really likes the aftercare, slowly getting down with your partner. Tending for them and cuddling.

Jonah

His partner's reactions. Jonah is someone who is very attentive in bed. He loves taking his time and making sure his partner is well-cared for and actually having a good time. But he also thrives on his partner's reactions: sounds, eye contact, body reactions... And he also really likes when the favor is returned, when his partner pays attention to him during the act. He also really enjoys the building up before it all, getting into/setting the mood, the possible discussions that may come with trying out new stuff, the teasing...

🌹 Where in the world does your OC feel most at home? Is there any reason why? If it’s not the place they were born, where were they born? Is there a certain somebody that makes them feel at home where ever they may be? What does home mean to them?

Jonah

The very first place that gave him a sense of home is the apartment he currently lives in. He finally had a place he could call his own, where he felt safe and where he could see himself live on the long term, but he still felt lonely. So home was still a bittersweet feeling in the first years he moved back to Wayhaven. That was until he met Bo. Adopting the doggo finally gave him a reason to be excited to get back to his apartment. But the moment he really understood what feeling home meant was when he temporarily moved to the warehouse. He found a family within UB and living with them made him realize this is the space where he belongs, and he realized that home isn't necessarily a place, that it can be found in the people surrounding you. So, home to him, is the feeling of belonging. It's the domesticity of sharing a routine with someone else. It's being excited to get back home to the people you cherish. It's all the little things that make him go 'this is where I'm meant to be'.

Côme

For Côme I'd say it's the family house. It's the place where they have the most memories with Rebecca and the place they were the happiest. But there's also so much bittersweet memories related to that place that sometimes it does not feel like home at all. Lately they've been feeling the most at home around Felix, whether it's at their apartment or at the warehouse, as long as they're with Felix they feel at home. Home to them is when the feeling of loneliness disappears and they can feel the warmth of being loved and cherished. It's a place where they can be themselves without fear of being judged. It's a place where they can finally express love through small gestures and small knick-knacks decorating the space.

🌻 What little things do they notice about people or the world around them that make them happy? What tiny little treasures do they find in the normal every day that makes the world seem a little brighter for them?

Jonah

One thing he's always been very fond of, is when he notices people humming a song or tapping their fingers/feet to the beat when listening to music. Music is one of his love languages so seeing music expressed physically is always something that makes him smile.

Côme

Côme loves noticing little quirks that hints at what people are feeling. They're usually bad at reading people, so it makes them really happy when they notice someone's quirk because it means that they're close enough to the person to be able to understand them without really having to ask. Côme is a hoarder, so they find tiny little treasures everywhere, whether it'd be rocks, leaves or literally anything they find on the ground.

💫What is your favourite fact about this character and why?

Jonah

Gosh, I have so many favorite facts about him, but if I had to pick one, I'd say the fact that he's a Lego engineer in another universe. I love this fact about him because it means that in another universe he's a little happier. He's giving his inner child the chance to heal through getting his dream job and I love that for him.

Côme

For Côme, it has to be the fact that they're a huge Scooby-doo fan. They grew up with it, still regularly binge watch it because it's their comfort show. But the reason I like this fact so much about them, it's because they cracked up every Mystery Inc related jokes they had as soon as they learned about UB's real identities. They call UB's SUV the Mystery Machine and they've associated all the vampires with a character from the show.

For Good: Is there anyone in your OC's life who had an undeniable positive impact on who they are as a person? How did knowing this person improve your OC's life?

I can think of a few people at the top of my head, but I'd say Tina. I headcanon they met in their first year of college - they were partnered together in one of their criminology classes and Tina being her bright, friendly self, she managed to break through Jonah's walls quite easily. They weren't really close at first, they were acquaintances more than friends, at least on Jonah's side, but Tina slowly caught wind of the rumors traveling around campus about Bobby and without Jonah's knwoledge, she starting defending him anytime she heard someone talking shit about Jonah. She stayed with Jonah through the whole debacle, forcing him to realize that Bobby's behavior towards him wasn't right and that he needed to get out of the relationship, she actually housed him when he left the apartment he shared with Bobby until he could find another one. She was the first person who stood up for him and he'll never be grateful enough for her.

For Bad: Is there anyone who had an undeniable negative impact on your OC’s life? How did your OC deal with that change? Have they been able to move on?

I feel like the answer for this one is kind of obivous for Jonah *looking at Bobby and Rebecca*, so I'm going to answer it for Côme.

I'd say their childhood best friend. They befriended the kid next door and the two of them grew up being inseparable, you never saw one without the other. But that only lasted up to the end of primary school/ beginning of middle school. Côme's never been good with social cues and they already were fascinated with x or y subjects, so although they weren't bullied, kids started being mean about them behind their back and their best friend, prefering the company of "normal" kids started hanging out less and less with them until one day Côme caught them talking shit about them, saying they hadn't considered Côme their best friend in a long while and that they wished they'd never met. This broke Côme because they already weren't confident with themselves and struggled to make friend, so to realize someone they trusted and loved could do such thing really hurt. They were never really able to move one and still today, they don't think someone could choose to be friend with them for who they are.

Future: Is there anyone your OC is looking forward to meeting or to seeing again? Who? What might that meeting or reunion look like?

They had a little something going on back in college, Jonah flirted a lot with him during his tattoo session and they got along well, but his relationships with Bobby went down at the same so they never got to go further and Jonah was actually ashamed to see him again after it because everyone talked about him around campus, and he wasn't sure what Mzi would have heard about him and he wasn't in the headspace to date anyway. So they never saw each other again. I think that once he's settled with Adam and Nate and happy, he'd try to get back in touch with Mzi, to at least be friends. I do see the reunion going well because they didn't end up on bad terms, and even though Mzi understand what happens, he's still a little bitter about how Jonah basically ghosted him because he did consider them to be friends and he actually had feelings for him back then. I often hc that if Jonah hadn't known Bobby he would have already been in a relationship before the events of twc and Mzi would be his partner.

Jonah

He loves it but only when it's wet. He doesn't like dry sand, because it gets into every nook and cranny of your clothes and he hates finding sand everywhere afterwards. He much prefers wet sands because it's not as messy in his opinion. So he goes to the beach on the colder months. He gets into the car and off they go with Bo on longs walks on the beach.

Madeleine

She hates it. Don't even think about suggesting a beach retreat to Mads, she's not coming. She's a lake person, not a beach person, all because of sand. Pretty much like Jonah she hates that it gets everywhere and that it's itchy, and she hates it even more when it's wet because then, it's also sticky. The only positive she has to say about sand it that it feels warm in summer.

Côme

They love sand! They love feeling its warmth when walking on the beach, they love that they can build castles with it, they love the texture of dry sand, they love the fact that you can make glass with sand. In short they know a little too much about and they love rambling about it. I don't, so I'm going to stop here.

1. What is the relationship like between your detective and Rebecca?

Jonah

Out of the three of them, he has the worst relationship with Rebecca. The degree of Rebecca's absenteeism isn't the same for each of my detectives and for Jonah I hc that she was almost never there. By the age of 7 he basically lived with nannies and Rebecca visited every few months for a couple of days before leaving again. He resents her a lot for that and honestly, he doesn't think he'll ever be able to forgive her because he barely considers her to be his mother at all. And he doesn't hesitate to let her know. Despite that, he's decent to her at work because he considers that UB doesn't have to witness their poor relationship.

Madeleine

Her relationship with Rebecca definitely isn't the best. Rebecca was often away, but, although she was almost always late, she always made it for big events like Maddie's 18th birthday, her taekwondo tournaments or her graduation, but she wasn't there for every other little things like parents/teachers meetings, or when she had the flu. She doesn't resent her, because now that she knows what she does for work she can understand in some ways, but she's still sad because all she wanted was a mother. So, she's not mean to her but she isn't really friendly towards her either. About fixing their relationship, she's willing to do it if she sees that Rebecca is really putting efforts into it and that this isn't just talk.

Côme

They have the best relationship with Rebecca. They were quite the independent kid and had a vague understanding of her job, so they didn't really question it as long as she was there for every big moment of their life. But to be fair, she was there for almost every of their birthdays, even if she sometimes showed up late most of the time and always kept in touch for other little things. But there was always that distance between them: Rebecca wasn't a very affectionate parent while Côme really needed that. But their relationship recently started deteriorating when they understood how much secrets Rebecca kept from them about their own self, but also about Rook. So their relationship is really awkward at the moment.

5. Do they trust Rebecca with information about their life, or would they rather keep the information limited?

Jonah

Gosh no, Jonah absolutely doesn't trust her with info about him, even the tiniest detail. He cut ties with her when he left the house at 16 and when she showed up at the station, it was his first time seeing her again, in years. She has no idea what degree he got in uni, she didn't know he had a dog until someone from UB mentioned Bo, she didn't know about Bobby until b2, she still doesn't know anything about his past with him and will never know about it. If it wasn't for work he would have never contacted her again, so yeah, she's on a needs-to-know basis with him.

Madeleine

Yes and no. If Rebecca asks anything about her life she will talk about it, but she doesn't do it spontaneously. Also she never told Rebecca about her IBD and begged Elidor not to tell her. She doesn't know yet if she wants Rebecca to know about it, so she's keeping it secret for now, even though all of UB knows.

Côme

Despite the fact that they have the best relationship, they aren't really privy with each other. Rebecca knows about what's going on Côme's life because they keep in touch while she's away, but not regularly enough to know their kid properly and the info she has on Côme is often outdated. Yet Côme doesn't keep anything from her; she'd find out eventually, so they're always open about anything, at least if she asks. If she doesn't, Côme doesn't say anything.

14. Does your detective harbour any jealousy or resentment towards Unit Bravo for knowing Rebecca more than the detective or for being around her longer?

Jonah

He doesn't. It was Rebecca's job to be a parent and be there for him, not UB's so he doesn't blame them for that. They didn't know he existed so really there isn't anything to blame them for. And as for jealousy, he doesn't care enough about Rebecca to actually feel any of it.

Madeleine

She does feel a little jealousy towards UB for knowing Rebecca more than she does. She was longing for a better relationship with Rebecca for so long and seeing that UB got that before her really hurt her. Yet, she doesn't let it show, so it doesn't affect her relationship with UB.

Côme

They do feel jealousy towards UB. Even though their relationship with Rebecca is fairly decent, they were never really close and Côme envies that closeness they have with her, especially with Nat and especially after they discover how much secrets Rebecca has been keeping from them. How come UB gets to know and not their own kid? This definitely led to a little bit of conflict with Nat at the beginning.

1 - What kind of person is your OC in a crisis? Are they calm and collected? Do they panic? Or are they chronically the cause?

Jonah is the kind of person to stay cool-headed in situation of crisis. He tries to stay as calm and collected as possible to be able to keep thinking straight, especially when he knows people are counting on him. It also helps that he plans his life to a T and usually tries to think of a few ways his decisions might go wrong and find solutions, just in case. When he goes on a missions, he usually a plan for every letter of the alphabet. The panic sometimes comes afterwards when he realizes the consequences of said crisis.

10 - Is your OC sentimental or pragmatic? Do they keep mementos or only what they need to survive? Have they always been this way or did something happen to make them change?

Oh, Madeleine is a sentimental person to the core. It's in her genes. It's been that way ever since she was a kid and it sometimes makes it hard for her to get rid of things. Her apartment is filled with memorabilia. She keeps small tokens of everything she experiences, whether it's pictures, movie tickets, cups, really everything. Even when the memories tied to a memento do not bring her joy anymore, she struggles to part with those tokens. It's highly tied to the fact that she didn't have her dad growing and mementos were all she had to get to know him. Same with her memories of Rebecca.

20 - Has your OC ever done something terrible and lied about it? Did they run away or blame someone else for it? How long did they maintain the lie and did the truth ever come out?

I can't think of anything terrible Côme might have done. But if they had, they probably wouldn't lie about it, simply because they can't lie. Like at all. It's written on their face if they're lying. But their first instinct would probably be to run away because they do not like confrontation, although they'd own up to it in the end because they cannot deal with the thought of someone else taking the fall for what they did. So even if they were forced to lie, they wouldn't be able to maintain the lie for long.

3. What is your OC's fatal flaw? Are they aware of this flaw?

Jonah

I think Jonah's has to be his perseverance. He is not someone who gives up easily, that's why he's constantly pushing his own limits further, especially in his work life. This is mostly due to the fact that he threw himself in his studies, and later on, his work, to ingore the fact that he was still hurting from what happened with Bobby. He's going to break one day because of that, only then will he realize it's his fatal flaw.

Madeleine

It's her selflessness. She always puts others before her own self, to the point where it broke her before. She's aware of that flaw and is working on trying to correct it. Although she can't help to help people in need.

Côme

It's definitely their bravery/recklessness. They never think twice about what could possibly happened to them in dangerous situation and actually take the subject a little too lightly. So, they end up throwing themselves in danger a little too often. They're slowly starting to be aware of that thanks to Felix. Before Felix they didn't have anyone worrying about them, so they never realized. So, now that they have someone who expects/need them to make it out of missions in one piece, they're starting to get a little more aware of that flaw.

7. What's one way your OC has changed since you first came up with them?

I've already answered this one for Jonah here

Madeleine

She has gradually turned a little bit more fiery. In the very beginning, she was my little romantic who would hurt a fly, but over time i gave her a little bit more of a temper. It's not that she gets angry everytime either, it's just that she stands up for herself and for the people close to her. So while she's all for talking to resolve an argument, she's always ready to throw a punch if needed, but even then, she really does it if she has no other choice.

Côme

I've only come up with Côme when b3 came out, so not much has changed about them, although I'm currently reconsidering their gender identity

12. Is your OC self-destructive? In what ways?

Jonah

I think, ultimately, because of his fatal flaw and particularly the fact that he is not aware of it, he is self-destructive. He just keeps on going, and ignores all the signs telling him he stop a sec and reconsider what he is doing, unless he breakdowns. Whether he's going to fix that later on, idk, I kind of see it happening multiple times or UB having to point it out, for him to self-reflect.

Madeleine

No. She has learned to listen to her body and herself and knows when she's reaching her limits. So while she still struggles with asking for help, she knows she has to, if she doesn't want to hurt herself.

Côme

They are. Although they're a very bubbly person who gives the impression that they're always happy, Côme really lacks confidence in themselves. Particularly in their social skills. They've always struggled to maintain relationships and thus often ended up lonely, so upon meeting new people they almost always get to that point where they think people are going to leave them or that they're going to do something that will make people flee. So they often self-sabotage their own relationships without meaning to, which then sends them into a downward spiral.

I'm having so much fun rambling about these, so thanks a lot for these!!

6. What were they like at school? Did they enjoy it? Did they finish? What level of higher education did they reach? What subjects did they enjoy? Which did they hate?

Teacher either didn't like having them in their class or they were their favorite students. They can't sit still and get distracted easily, so classes could get really boring for them if they didn't like the subject.

They did good in science related classes, biology and chem being their favorite and barely managed to get passing grades in the other subjects, especially stuff like literature or arts where you have to read between the lines and get abstract.

They have a Masters in chemistry and minored in biology.

7. Did they have lots of friends as a child? Did they keep any of their childhood friends into adulthood?

They had lots of friends as a kid because they were the kid who knew lots of cool stuff, was friendly with everyone and was very funny, but this changed as they grew up. The things people loved about them started being the things they found annoying, so while they were just as friendly, people just didn't stick with them anymore because they grew tired of their rambling, their bubbly personality, the fact that they were oblivious to their surrounding. So no, they haven't kept any of their childhood friends.

17. Do they like to take photos? What do they like to take photos of? Selfies? What do they do with their photos?

They love taking photos but most of the time forget to take them. Côme gets very absorbed by what they're doing and when they see cool things, their first instinct isn't to take their phone out and take a picture. They just enjoy the moment. Although they tend to regret it because they would have loved having a picture to remember the moment.

When they think about it, they take pictures of: cool rocks, little creatures they find in the forest, Felix, the sky, cool plants and trees, funny-shaped clouds, Felix, their current kintting/crochet projects, stray cats/dogs, Felix...

They keep their pictures in carefully organized folders, or if they really like the photo, they print it and put it in a frame or stick it on a wall

18. What’s their favourite genre of: books, music, tv shows, films, video games and anything else

Favorite book genre: Côme doesn't read much because they struggle to stay focused, but I'd say sci-fy, fantasy and non-fiction, mostly in audiobooks format. They'll listen to books related to science, archeology, mythology, anything they're interested in at the moment. Also mangas, graphic novels or comics, not too much text and pretty fast to read so they love it.

Favorite genre of music: classical. Remember that video of a dude absolutely vibing to classical music that was going around a little while ago? That's Côme. They put on some classical music thinking "just a little background music so that the house isn't so quiet" and end up having their own dance party.

Favorite shows/films genre: Pretty much the same as books. Animes (HQ, JJK, Sk8...) and cartoons (Mystery inc, Ben 10, Voltron...) are cool because they're not too lenghty. They're a big fan of the spidey movies.

I'll have to ponder a bit more about video games...

25. What do they find funny? Do they have a good sense of humour? Are they funny themselves?

They're a sucker for dad jokes and puns, but literally anything makes them laugh. It's so easy to make them laugh people often wonder if they're being genuine. They are, always.

They laugh about pretty much anything except for offensive jokes and dark humor isn't their cup of tea either.

They're hilarious, but it's either accidental or 100% intentional. They let out the best joke because they're just being honest or they've been thinking about a pun for days and waiting for the perfect occasion to deliver it. They're also really clumsy and trip on their feet at the worst times.

41. What’s their sexuality? What do they find attractive? Physically and mentally? What do they like/need in a relationship?

They're pansexual (maybe demiromantic, I'm still pondering on that). They find confidence attractive. Someone with a bright smile who laughs a lot and who doesn't apologize for existing is very sexy to them.

In a relationship they need someone who is going to make them feel like they were the first and only choice. They need someone who won't judge them for all the rambling they do and someone they feel comfortable around and they absolutely adore when their partner feels at ease around them and rambles back. They like when someone is comfortable with pda, lots and lots of pda.

46. Do they make a good first impression? Does their first impression reflect them accurately? How do they introduce themselves?

Honestly, I'd say it'd depend on the type of people they're meeting. They know that their personality can be a lot to take in, so they try to tame it down a notch when first meeting someone but they tend to forget about it halfway through. So yeah, they first impression are often very accurate. They'll be really polite and friendly when introducing themself, to the point unless something distracts them during their introduction.

47. How do they act in a formal occasion? What do they think of black tie wear? Do they enjoy fancy parties and love to chit chat or loathe the whole event?

They hate black tie wear. They love bright colors, so black tie attire is the pinnacle of boring to them. Here's an example of what they wear for formal event. (I have a whole folder dedicated to formal attire for them if you want more)

They're a social butterfly, so fancy parties where you have to chit chat with people are right up their alley, although they often ask Verda or Tina to follow them around so that they don't digress too much.

48. Do they enjoy any parties? If so what kind? Do they organise the party or just turn up? How do they act? What if they didn’t want to go but were dragged along by a friend?

They pretty much enjoy any kind of parties. Put them in an environment with good music and nice people and they're thriving. They spend the night on the dance floor, meeting new people. They're not a big fan of organizing parties though, there are too many things to do and think about, they'd much rather help someone who is organizing or just show up.

If they were dragged to a party they didn't want to attend, although they're usually the people dragging people to parties, they'd probably try to make themself discreet, find a couple people to talk and try to spend a chill night away from all the attention. Or they'd probably try to sneak out of the party.

49. What is their most valued object? Are they sentimental? Is there something they have to take everywhere with them?

Their dino plushie, Ellie. It's the yellow triceratop that sparked their obsession with dinos. They take Ellie everywhere they go, and it's probably going to stay with them forever.

Another thing they valued a lot was an amethyst geode Rebecca got them on their birthday when they started being into rocks and gems. But they lost it in the process of moving to uni and they'd gove everything to get their hands on it again.

They're a tad sentimal, but not too much either. The only things they hold on are things that have a story behind them or things that remind them of one particular person/moment. But even then, they don't really hold on things of the past, memorabilia of old friendships, etc, unless they're really important memories.

Jonah

His face screams grumpy and intimidating. He either wears his dark brown hair up to his shoulders, tied in a half bun, or dishevelled when it's short. He oftens swings between both hairstyles: cutting his hair when he gets tired of having it long, or letting it grow back because he misses the long hair. He's got a beard, well it's between the beard and the stubble. He's also got quite the eyebags under his light brow eyes, the boy's tired. And he's frowning a lot, hence the intimidating look. His smile softens his whole face. He doesn't smile much, but he smirks a lot, so when he's really smiling it's quite the sight. He has one dimple in his right cheek that only shows when he smiles really wide. The thing that people notice the most upon meeting him is the scar splitting his left eyebrow. He got it from boxing and now he's got a permanent eyebrow slit that people either find cool or ridiculous.

Motion - How does your OC move? How does their clothing help or hinder their range of motion? Are they flexible, coordinated, clumsy?

Madeleine

Maddie is full of grace, like literally. Sometimes it looks like she's not even touching the floor when she walks. Her coordination and flexibility are unmatched. Comes from years of taekwondo and the dance classes she regularly takes. Talking about dancing she takes ballroom dancing classes, her favorites being: waltz, mambo and jive. Other than that she can also belly dance. So, she's quite at ease when it comes to movement. The only thing that kind of hinders that is her wardrobe. Well, it wasn't a problem before meeting UB, because she makes her own clothes, so she's learned how to make them adapt to her movements, but she wears a lot of long skirts and dresses, and they do not help when she gets in situations where she has to fight, which happens a little too regularly now that UB are in her life.

Côme

Côme has that constant kind of skipping to their gait. They cannot walk straight, and by that I mean that they're always talking to someone or looking around when they walk so they're often oriented towards the person they're talking to/the thing they're looking at and thus walk sideways, if they're not completely walking backwards. But they're really clumsy and often trip over their own feet. They're not really coordinated either, so they suck at dancing although they love it. Their clothes do not really hinder their movements because they wear oversized clothing a lot to hide their body shape. So their clothes are actually quite comfortable to move into, even with the situations they get in with UB.

Jonah

Out of the three Jonah is the one that doesn't really have any distinctive characteristic about his gait. But, he does walk fast. He's got no time to waste to get from point A to point B. He has a pretty good coordination due to years of boxing, but that coordination is useless when it comes to dancing because he's stiff as a stick. His clothes do hinder his movements a tad because he's always wearing jeans and we all know those things are not comfortable to move in. He's ripped quite a few in inconvenient spots while fighting.

Formal - What's your OC's formal look? Do they like dressing up? Do they have different looks for different occasions?

Madeleine

She's my fancy queen. She's always looking amazing, so when she has to dress up it's actually a bit of struggle. But she does like making fancy clothes, so when the occasion calls for it she pulls out her prettiest dresses. Here are some examples: (she loves flowery patterns)

Côme

Côme's idea of formal is suit pants with a shirt (and the occasional vest if they found a cool suit). And it's got to have bright colors and cool patterns and textured fabric. They'll often choose one colors and try to do a complete look with that color. Examples: (I couldn't find a good pic but they def have a holographic suit)

Jonah

Jonah's formal look is pretty simple: it's a two piece suit. It's pretty standard but it gives him just the amount of confidence he needs. He'll sometimes go for a three piece if the occasion calls for it. Although he always stays within a pretty standard range of colors: black, blue, the eventual green. He also loves those little things that you clip onto the collar of a shirt (idk what they're called) Some examples:

Adam x Jonah x Nate

I can see Nate as most likely to do it, because of the whole over-protectiveness thing N has going on. Second comes Adam, it doesn't happen often, but it does from time to time, especially if the thing they were arguing about was in regards to the safety of the other two. Jonah would be the least likely to use it.

Madeleine x Morgan

Can I say no one? These two don't need to involve their feelings to own up to their actions, if that makes sense. But if I had to pick, I'd say Madeleine because I have one particular argument in mind regarding being turned into a vampire where she'd use it.

Côme x Felix

Honestly, I can see it coming from the both of them. But I can see it coming out as like, stating the obvious. It's an "of course, I did what I did because I love you" kind of thing.

2. What would they do if the other woke in a manic state after a nightmare?

Adam x Jonah x Nate

I'm not going to answer this one for them because I have a fic I wanna write about this

Madeleine x Morgan

Madeleine knows her touch eases Morgan, so she'd slowly approach her to gradually wrap her arms around. She holds Morgan tight until she's calmed down. Simple, but it works like a charm. Morgan was already awake before Madeleine woke up because she could sense Maddie's distress, so I can actually see her waking up Madeleine. She makes sure to be gentle, tell Maddie that everything's fine, cup her face in her hands to have Mads focus on her and her only.

Côme x Felix

Côme is a light sleeper so I can see them being woken up by Felix moving around in his sleep. They'd panic a little, not understanding what's going until Felix wakes up. Then, they'd try to reassure Felix, ask if he wants to talk about it or not and pull him closer to cuddle back to sleep. I can also see Felix being woken up by Côme moving around, but I feel like he'd understand what's going on before Côme could wake up and he'd try to actually prevent Côme from waking up. But he makes it worse and wakes them up when trying to hold them closer. There's a little freaking out because that wasn't his intentions, then comes the reassurance, trying to get Côme to calm down, make them understand what's going on and grounding them back. And there's a lot of cuddle and talking involved before they fall back asleep.

3. Do they wear the other’s clothes? (sweatshirt, bandana, necklace, etc.)

Adam x Jonah x Nate

Jonah and Nate: yes, they do, absolutely, all the time. Jonah loves stealing his boyfriends' clothes, especially Adam's tees and Nate's shirts. Nates also loves going for Adam's tees (poor guy had to get new ones because these two were always raiding his closet). Nate tried to wear one of Jonah's t-shirt once, unfortunately the size difference made it impossible for him to wear any of Jonah's clothes, but he does wear some of his jewelry, especially his rings. For Adam it's a whole other story. He would love to, but again size difference makes it kinda hard. But accessories make for a good substitute, especially scarves during winter, he alternates between Nate's and Jonah's.

Madeleine x Morgan

For these two it's a more discreet/intimate thing. Maddie wears some of Morgan's jewelry, and Morgan will wear some of Maddie's tees but it's a thing that only Maddie gets to see.

Côme x Felix

YES! Absolutely, always! They're always stealing each other's clothes and they have really similar tastes so it's just like expanding the other's wardrobe. Every single piece of the other's wardrobe they can get their hands on, they wear.

4. Which one is more protective? Who needs to be ‘protected’?

Adam x Jonah x Nate

Oh, gosh, all three of them are protective. From Nate's over-protectiveness to Adam's concern for their safety to Jonah just being fiercely protective. Jonah often ends up being the 'protected' one, especially to physical danger, because both Adam and Nate get protective about that. Then Adam can't help but protect Nate from physical danger either. Jonah and his cuttin sarcasm do all the protecting when it comes to people talking behind Nate and Adam's backs.

Madeleine x Morgan

Morgan is the fiercely protective one in the relationship. She knows that Madeleine doesn't particularly need to be protected but she can't help it. And Maddie loves seeing that side of Morgan so she's not complaining.

Côme x Felix

These two are a disaster because they're on both sides of the spectrum. They're both protective about the other, but often end up having to be protected by the rest of UB.

Madeleine making soup. Telling Morgan about all the gossip from work and wayhaven over dinner. Then watching a documentary of Morgan's choice all cuddled up until the head for bed, where Maddie reads for a while with Morgan laying on her chest.

Côme x Felix

Ordering take out for Côme. Them trying to teach knitting/crocheting to Felix while they watch a show/movie/cartoon. Giving up because Felix got all tangled up in the yarn. Cuddling up. Getting to sleep but not actually sleeping because they end up talking about nothing and everything.
