wanted to ask these earlier but forgot that ask are a thing for some reason??? anyway i have some questions abt serain :33

since iguro figures as her adopted brother on her character sheet, i was wondering how they met and formed such a bond, since yk, iguro is pretty uncomfortable and afraid of women. ohhh and maybe her opinion on the other hashira?? i think that would be interesting!!

for the first question, they bonded from being trained by the same person , and serain wanting to make her brother proud !! even tho serain is a girl, obanai sees her as a brother figure. She learned about how he dislike women very quickly, and has tried to be more "manly" to make him like her. It worked essentially,, but another factor is that they've known eachother for a while (since serain was 11, and obanai 13.)

Her opinion on the other hashira ,, probably smth like this

rengoku : she admires him for pretty much everything he does. she would like to be like him someday .

muichiro : the short span of time in which he became a hashira intrigues her , but all she knows is that he worked endlessly for it. she sees him as a boy to protect (not because he's weak) because she fears his death.

obanai : of course , she sees him as a big brother . they talk often , and serain hypes him up when he yaps about mitsuri sometimes

gyomei : he amazes her. how strong he is , how tall he is , and how he defeats demons with a complex weapon blind.

shinobu : they don't talk much , but have mutual respect for one another.

tengen : she doesn't really have an opinion on him , but knows he's strong and capable of being in the position he's in.

mitsuri : her bestie ! they hang out the most beside from her and obanai , but still are close. mitsuri makes her go on (platonic) food dates with her , even though serain doesn't usually have an appetite.

giyuu : her least favorite out of the hashira . she doesn't like gloomy people in general, (they remind her of that night) and giyuu isn't an exception. they have mutual respect but ignore eachother for the most part.

sanemi : she follows obanai around like a lost puppy , leading her to eventually befriend sanemi somehow. they both confuse eachother (/pos)

my kny ocs's redesigns , part 1 , serain

gonna be yapping with this one ,,anyway let's start off from the beginning

serain the 1st. I had to scroll my screenshots for this one , since I've deleted gacha club , so this is the only proof of her existence. design wise, she looks boring and you can't tell what breathing style she uses, so horrible character design

serain the 2nd. it's upgraded design for sure, but that's probably because it was the first time I drew her. she looks possessed

Serain the 3rd. hair is flat , eyes look confusing , but overall isn't too bad. my art style developed greatly , and so did Serain's design

serain the 4th. The design that's probably closest to now , but alot of the elements in the design are eventually cut (socks, that random patch of fabric , leaf thingy in her hair , non-fluffy hair)

upgraded serain the 4th. basically the former design but colored

serain the 5th (and hopefully the last) !! Her design is more random this time but I like it ,,,, idk thoooo

1. she doesn't have much hobbies (because she's a hashira and barley gets breaks) but in her free time she writes about her day and makes poems :)

2. she's japanese and russian to answer that ,,

3. well an important detail in her relationship with Daisuke is that he's dead ,, and that he cared for her endlessly , caring for all of her needs. When Daisuke was killed , serain sat next to his corpse for about 2 days before being found , feeding on the cherries that grew next to their home

4. (It's okay I didn't mention it lmao) her breathing style is leaf breathing , and it's derived from water breathing! fun fact : she was trained at the same time and by the same person as obanai
