i really wish I wasnt so territorial over the things i liked and could find joy in sharing the same interest with strangers (and therefore make friends.)
#i dont mind if someone's into the same thing as me generally....as long as they like a different aspect of it.#like a different pairing or characters etc etc#there are a few select things i dont like when people are into it period though#obviously this doesnt apply to mutuals. i hardblock people i feel this way toward lol.#if we're mutuals with a mutual interest it means you passed the test. what test? i wish i knew its unpredictable.#i think it comes from the fact ive had far too many “friends” just full stop steal my interests and ignore it was ever smth I liked at all#thats a whole other yap sesh tho#anyway#captain's log
