i always wondered if the splat 2 promo octolings and the octo expansion promo octolings were the same because their renders/in-game models are sooo inconsistent if so (well, even more so than usual, anyway)

judging by how coroika's agent 8 (hachi) is based off of the male octoling, i think so? but im not too sure. that's not even going over how female agent 8's constantly changing skintone bothers me to death
