obviously, nagi is somewhat at fault because she was thinking in terms of the immediacy of it - "if an finds out about this, it'll make her so upset so she Can't know" without thinking about the fact that. of course she's going to find out. and the longer she goes without knowing the worse it would feel

imagine if an had lived ten years without knowing? twenty five? it wouldn't get any easier

all that time just waiting and wishing and hoping that nagi would reach out in some infinitesimally small way, begging taiga or ken to give nagi messages or At Least to give an nagi's number so she could do it herself

wondering if somehow it was her fault - did she do something wrong to make nagi leave, or at least to make her not want to reach out?

worrying if nagi was safe or if she was in danger in some unfamiliar far-flung place with no one around to help
