those posts about liking female characters always unlock some deeply contrarian part of my brain where I’m like no fuck you I’ve never liked a female character in my life and I’m not about to start now

#m.txt #I am in many respects simply a contrarian #which is stupid bc what is ‘contrary’ depends entirely on context #like is it ‘contrary’ to norms to think that queer rep has gone too far #obviously it depends on what context! maybe it’s contrary to what my mutuals on tumblr think #but i chose my mutuals bc we have a shared value system #and i don’t want to wrap around to being a Fox News host you know #but my first instinct is so always ‘fuck you and fuck your message’
