out of curiosity bc I want to know if it really is Just the US and our poor education system or if it's an issue for other western majority English speaking countries as well so.....
#I feel like canadians are gonna be the ones answering mostly yes bc of french#also only included england and not the uk/britain bc like......#obviously irish and scottish ppl are going to speak irish & Scottish#& given that they are places conquered & occupied By england it does feel a lil unfair to include them#unlike the us canada and australia where they were also conquered but then the indigenous populations were killed & exist in much smaller#populations today than before. it would be a much different result if the indigenous nations of those 3 were allowed to still exist#even under occupation...... anyway. that's a whole rant for another day.#mostly I'm just curious bc I feel like a lot of these conversations center around other countries that are Not majority english speaking#and so many ppl from there learn English & the languages of neighboring countries#but is it That different in these 3 from the US? or pretty similar? idk I'm Curious

soo obvious that those weird anons didn't even watch the eternals yet. Alll of the eternals casts kept their accents like Richard madden (scottish), kit harrington (british), gemma chan (british), barry keoghan (irish). so why shouldn't harry kept his accent like? that's the concept they're going for
