my current hottest possible gravity falls theory isn't actually about anything within the world itself, but that Disney is providing infrastructure for all the ARG stuff to do market research and generate consumer interest in a direct-to-streaming TV-14 spinoff of Gravity Falls à la "Fionna and Cake"

#literally ever since Fiona and Cake was first announced I've felt like 'ohhhh this is something that could turn into a big weird streaming #market trends' and I'm just so throughly convinced I'm right that I need to make a post so I can be smug if I am #obviously I like Fiona and Cake my icon is from it. many of you were there you saw my posting #but it's something I have veryyyyy uh cautious feelings about overall #gravity falls #i say stuff #been thinking a lot about this might say more
