ever since logan’s death there’s been something so painfully directionless about roman. his siblings are coping by clinging to purpose — kendall and shiv are looking to the future and making power grabs, pulling people aside at the tailgate party to scheme, and connor’s got his presidential campaign. but roman is… just drifting. the sibling alliance dream team has fallen apart and now he’s half-heartedly letting kendall order him around, and nobody quite notices what’s going on with him until his internal destructiveness gets externalized and he has an outburst at someone (mattson, joy, gerri, connor) which he instantly regrets, leading him to feel even more miserable. he’s getting increasingly isolated and aimless and he thinks he’s gone and he’s dead and idk man it’s like his entire future was cut off when his dad died and he doesn’t know why he’s still there
