The gray tones in the art are not final, I just tossed a few in there to give depth to the sketches. I’ll figure out the colors soon hopefully lol

WHERE DO I EVEN BEGINNN W/ TEMPEST OH MY GODDD i am SUCH a hardcore fan of hers i absolutely LOVE her characterization, her backstory goes hard, her design goes evener HARDER, like im fr so obsessed w/ her i LOOVE the song she sings in the movie n i just love how they made her go from this pony who felt so badly hurt and betrayed by her friends that it made her lose faith to learning that its ok move on and heal and like let herself form relationships again after so long of dwelling on the past like THAT GOES HARD!!!! Someone sends a "mlp hinaegi" ask and I could never agree more, i want to reply to it with a small doodle design of my vision of it, just you wait people!! And the person who sends me that ask!! Just you wait!!

My vision is that, since most people used up makoto as normal earth pony, I feel like I want to change things up and made him into a deer species! When I see makoto I somehow think "deer" and you know what, it suits him lots.

I'd still stick to Hajime being an earth pony cause its just so... him. An unfortunate pony that never gained a cutiemark and talent at all, shunned by most ponies but not to a certain mare and a deer friend of his!

Anon has made me obsessed!!! MLP has been my comfort show since childhood!!

OKAY HEAR ME OUT! HOW COOL it would be though if after Twilight defeated Starlight she, instead of accepting an idea Twilight and her friends gave her (about uniqueness being a good thing, etc) she would instead just succumb to Twilight as to a superior pony and mark her as a new leader. So Starlight would translate the experience of her village onto Ponyville, where she would accept a role her villagers had and try to behave like everyone else to such an extreme she would scare ponies around her. Like imagine Starlight going through a trauma of her deeply rooted beliefs and repainting her cutiemark into some absolutely boring and unoriginal version of the most common cutie mark type she could find, copying the home design from someone else, always smiling and repeating phrases other ponies say. I just had this idea while rewatching the "in our town" music video and I am obsessed with it.

Here's my redesign of Rarity! She's so cute!!!

I added some new fur patterns to give her some more diamonds. Though I didn't want to go too over board so she would still look fabulous in other outfits. She was actually the hardest to design because I think her design is my favorite! Major change was her hooves are painted all the time and her cutiemark now includes her sewing talent. Not gonna change anything with her lore either because it is good for what it is (and I just can't think of much lol). She's still obsessed with cities, fashion, and a bunch more! She's just her good old self. Anyways head cannon her as omnisexual

Something I always found funny is my overlapping fandoms of MLP and DR and how every sona in each one either has an art-related cutiemark and/or is an ultimate artist. ....anyway.

I do think it would be super fun and fitting for me to be like, the ultimate Costume Designer or ultimate Makeup Artist, ykno;; being in charge of completely altering someone's looks from head to toe, from outfit to hair to makeup, changing their own or another's aesthetic on a whim... FUN!! Also fitting because I was totally a theater kid in another life and I'm obsessed with musicals as is, so being a costume designer for plays and stuff sounds dope

Makeover Artist makes the most sense but also that isn't like. a real fucking term LMAO. just adds to the silliness though :) so a win-win overall

- doesn’t become a princess, instead becomes a very renowned sorcerer like starswirl!

- though, more renowned than him because he sucks and i don’t like him.

- though she’s not a princess, she sorta becomes a part of the royal court, but because she doesn’t become an alicorn and is never expected to move away and rule equestria, she never feels alienated from her friends.

rarity:

- is more experienced in magic than show rarity

- displays generosity much more often

- besides that, not too different

-(her hair colors are definitely subject to change, they feel a bit too bright to me but i’m too tired to keep experimenting with them)

applejack

- loves to bake!! and is really good at it

- messy hair when not braided

- likes to do other ponies’ hair

- doesn’t reject femininity as much as show aj does, still a tomboy but she enjoys wearing dresses and feeling pretty sometimes

pinkie pie:

- less annoying! still annoying because annoying people are valid, myself being one but like, she’s serious when she needs to be

- adhd hyperactive type

- loves to bake as well!

- second cousins with aj, pinkie’s dad and aj’s dad were cousins

rainbow dash:

- slight mullet

- adhd distractable type (totally not a self insert)

- more tolerable than show rainbow, she’s still headstrong and a show off but she’s not self obsessed and conceited

- loves to defend her friends, protective, has self sacrificial tendencies

fluttershy:

- incorporated a sunflower into her cutiemark to represent a love for plants as well as animals

- almost her whole backyard is a garden, she grows the food that she feeds to her animals

- weak flyer but not as weak of a flyer as in the show

- still shy but in a much more realistic way

anyway i think that’s all!! i may tweak their designs and or personalities slightly over time but i’m pretty satisfied for now!! i hope you guys like them :)

my take on a Mane 6 redesign Mostly a redraw from a Mane 6 redo I did in 2019, plus a few concepts I saw from other interpretations I found interesting and wanted to implement as well!

Twilight Spakle (they/them):

- Is an earth pony now

- Obsessed with magic since they themself cannot make it happen. Wants to become a high ranking wizard like Starswirl the bearded even though they're an earth pony.

- especially obsessed with Pinkie Pie.

- is a hermit nerd

Fluttershy (she/her):

- Is a bat pony!

- She was constantly bullied because of that through her childhood. In present time she lives as a common pony, hiding some of her prominent bat features and her wings, but even that, ponies still make nasty rumors around her.

- Made her green cuz nature n stuff, but also made her having the ability to manipulate flora along with the animal communication, she has a strong connection to nature, especially since she got her cutiemark.

- Though most bat ponies are used to drink other creature's blood, Fluttershy uses her flora manipulation to make ingredients for food she can use as an alternative to blood (like Marceline from AT).

Pinkie Pie (any pronouns):

- She's an unicorn now. Unstoppable. And they're also part Donkey!

- Uses their magic mostly to party and create fireworks.

- Many unicorn schoolars are impressed with Pinkie's ability, but many state he's underusing the power he has.

- Always trying to cheer others up, but its ten times more rowdy this time. Its horn holds too much power.

AppleJack (she/her):

- Part cow!

- Mostly stayed the same as our good ol' AppleJack, but she's more slowspoken and chill.

- also I didn't forgot her cutiemark, she doesnt have one due to her cow side (and fur), but her talent is mostly centered about hardwork and mutual help.

Rainbow Dash (they/he):

- More centered around thunder, but there are still Rainbows.

- Can create energy if they fly fast enough, sometimes that energy ends up burning things.

- Still admiring Spitfire and the Wonderbolts, though here he wants to impress her with his capability

Rarity (she/her):

- Jewerly centered but still a fashionista (implements a lot of shine and gemstones in her designs)

- A craftsperson, she does all of her work by herself and often gets her hooves dirty (literally) as she has to go, mine and carefully select gemstones for her jewelry line.

- Has a beef with dragons due to her use of gems.

Spike doesn't exist here, for now.

Character Stuff pt. 3: Rando Drawins and Minor World Build

So I may start making these posts much longer- Seeing as sometimes I get a burst of inspiration and have nowhere else to put the drawings I make. (I’m also obsessed lowkey with makin a buttload of pony ocs from just minor details such as cutiemarks)

So I decided to give Crystabelle a sister- (Maybe a brother sometime in the future but probably not)

Sugar Swirl or as Cryssie calls her “Cotton Candy” She is the older sister of the family. In some photos she isn’t present because she went off to a bunch of camps to take care of her curse. More on that later.

When Cryssie finally does meet her sister, she loves her regardless. Sugar was there for her birth and was the one to give her the nickname “Cryssie” and she’s the only one who really is allowed to call her that. Her friends call her “Crysta” or “Belle” depends on the relationship and the other’s personality really.

They are the ones who made this little curse to begin with and gave me special permission to use it on Sugar. I added my own tweeks to it and made it a curse instead of a species so this version of it belongs to me. Still thanks for the idea and offer or whatever yah call it XD

Anyways, Basically the curse is labeled as “pony eater” as to not get confused with pure cannibalism, as that is usually by choice/consent.

The host has no control over it. When it kicks off, everyone must avoid them at all costs. It causes a nose bleed at first and excessive saliva build up. First hit in their life won’t hit them until they reach a certain age to be able to understand right from wrong. Then a trigger will be found and unknowingly set off. A clear difference is seen in their eyes, black whites with fading pupils of white that turn to grey with a dark jet black iris.

There isn’t exactly a known cure for the “pony eater” curse. Only precautions and boot camps to keep them in check and make sure they understand their own triggers before they can head home.

Despite this, Cryssie doesn’t hate her sister, infact in a moment she has a trigger and can’t find an escape, she ties herself up in the basement and Cryssie brings her dinner she cooked, since they were home alone.

She sat with her (at a safe distance, she’s dense and naïve but she ain’t stupid) and waited it out til morning.

Sugar Swirl was cursed at birth and her parents tried to find a cure or something to stop it before she hit that age but they are still searching.

The trigger to cause the curse is loud and fluctuating noises. I don’t mean a random unprepared honk from a horn. It has to be something like the lavender town them in slight ear-r4pe format. It needs to be repetitive and switching of the ears at a fast or even an unequal pace can definatly cause it. It also has to be loud, something that would give a headache. So she can live out a normal life as long as she doesn’t go to watch certain things. It’s like an epilepsy thing. Just gotta be careful, yah know?

Along with some other stuff, I got a little inspired by speedpaints and decided to do anatomy along with making new characters.

Elipsa- She is a silent girl who is larger than the average male, shes very tall and doesn’t need words to settle fear into someones heart. You know if she likes you or not. She is an inventor, she made it possible for ponies to use things like phones by forming a glove for the hoof that can move fingers with stylus’ on the fingertips. She gets along well with Cryssie.

Facade- The smallest of the triplets in her family, Feign and Fantasy, she shares similar cutiemarks (proven possible with the cutiemark crusader episode, forget the name) call it superstition or twin connection, dumb luck, whatever. They have similar names (all beginning with F) and similar talents. Facade tends to like putting on a show and charm the audience. Hence her winky faced OwO cutiemark. She is a vampire fanatic and a goth/punk. The only one who has the most jewelry.

Facade is the only one who can make Elipsa smile and sometimes (mostly when its just them and sometimes Cryssie) laugh.

Yes these two are dating and I’m still deciding if I want Facade to be a girl or boy (if boy then most likely trans) or non-binary. Will update on that later.

Facade is NOT a filly, she is an adult mare she is just very short. She is often mistaken as such.

These two are Cryssies best friends since Elementary since she was very shy.

Decided to try base editing.

I like it cause it’s easier to do the designs its just a pain in the flank to do certain markings with the wait mlp has the outlines designed. I also had to give Cryssie an eyeliner kinda look because her eye wasn’t showing visible to her face. I am very proud of this tho and probably will do more.

The only thing that really bothers me is that i couldnt get her damn mane right at the top around her horn, its more...fancy??? than it should be.

Also if you notice, i switched her bandage on her front legs because it felt odd to have bandages on the same side of front and back legs, why not altercate? :3

I am gonna try and make more LN related stuff to throw in here and there. I just like buildin the main character a bit yah know?
