GudaObe date at the Pokémon cafe 😌

I went there myself in April, and there was a gachapon machine with miniatures of some of the menu items so I got two. I wish I had tried for a few more, not just cos i did wanna get the Pikachu Plate (since that’s what I ate when I was there) but also because Guda got no food here lol…he’s just happy to watch Oberon eat I guess.

I have them both on Picco8 bodies here, which wear obi11 size stuff better than nendo but not as good as Picco9 (or obi11).

I think there’s some confusion about the obi11/nendoll alternate bodies on taobao. They aren’t bootlegs and they aren’t saying they are obi11s or nendolls when they are not, because they clearly look different.  They say both and obi11 in the title because they are compatible with nendo and obi11 heads, and people searching ‘nendo body’ or ‘obi11 body’ hoping to find a body will see them. Most of them ARENT cheaper than obitsu or nendoll and people only prefer them cos they pose better Or have a nicer aesthetic, not cos they’re cheap. This is like if someone was selling their own animetic eyes they made and titled it ‘anime BJD eyes for dollfie dream smart d0ll obitsu etc’ and some idiot was trying to claim they were bootlegs because they named multiple companies even though they aren’t official product eyes from those brands. Or if someone on Etsy etc made a one size fits all smartphone case with original art on it and titled it ‘phone case case fits samsung iphone etc etc’.  I don’t doubt people actually are buying those shitty $3 fake obi11 bodies that also exist, but being a similar product with the same function - to make a ‘chibi’ doll body for nendoroid heads or obitsu11 scale heads, does NOT equal a bootleg and is certainly not remotely comparable to a recast.

I got Oberon’s 1st ascension outfit in obi11 scale from a shop on taobao! The shoes weren’t included, but I recognised the ones in the photo as other shoes I had seen on taobao but with white bows glued on, so I got those too (I haven’t found any bows yet though). Oberon is still on the piccodo8 body, which wears this better than a nendoll, but it would fit a lot better on a piccodo9 or obi11 so I’m considering getting him another body. It does look a bit long on him but the quality is really amazing.

‘ I LOVED the ob11/nendoroid callout post where OP said that a lot of pro-artist hobbiests had bootlegs of smaller dolls and no one bats an eyeand then a rain of pro-artists got mad’  oooor we got confused because obi11 and nendoll are legit products and the confession was saying that if it costs $20 it’s a bootleg when that is about how much they cost direct from GoodSmile and Obitsu?? Pisses me off to think someone thinks my obi11 are bootlegs when I bought them FROM OBITSU IN JAPAN. If that’s not what you said then you need to articulate your confessions better and pay attention to how you word things, because me and multiple other people had no idea wtf you were talking about. Are there actually people using bootleg obi11s in droves (I know they exist and they’re garbage, they fall apart very easily, my friend got one by mistake cos the seller lied and thought obitsu bodies themselves were garbage until I saw it and let them know) or do you legitimately think that any body under $50 is a bootleg? i know idiots are selling legit nendoll bodies and obi11s on eBay for rip-off prices but you know that’s not their actual price, right? If pro artists are actually using these bootleg bodies then shame on them, but the confession legitimately made it sound like you think even people with legitimate obi or nendoll bodies have fakes.
