headcannons for obi-wan and reader babysitting please! 🥰
some of these are babysitting the twins + some are more general :D
the man is a natural. if it wasn’t so beneficial, you’d probably be annoyed by it
seriously. if one of the twins is crying, he could pick them up and they’d stop. you put it down to a force-related thing, he puts it down to the fact they like him more than you
obi is very calm under pressure. if one twin is crying and the other is climbing the walls, he won’t freak out. he’ll deal with the problem in record time and have them both contently watching a holocartoon in a matter of minutes.
when you guys are out together with the kids, it gets him thinking about what it would be like to have your own family. he knows it’s not the most realistic idea but seeing you with luke & leia just sends his mind to those places
nap time is always fun; it’s not uncommon to find him passed out on the sofa with a twin on either arm, absolutely dead to the world
and when he finds you napping with them, it always makes him a bit soft
you guys work really well as a team. having twins is hard work but somehow, you always manage to get the job done
you’ve got a knack for arts and crafts; finger painting with leia, building tiny x-wings with luke, creating papier mache lightstabers
obi, meanwhile, is a little creatively challenged. he almost had a break down trying to make a paper chain.
coolest godparents ever

These New Deluxe 'Star Wars' Toys Will Gear You Up Ahead of 'The Last Jedi' (Exclusive)

Star Wars: The Last Jedi doesn’t zoom into theaters until December, but it’s never too early to start planning your movie-going wardrobe. Fear not; Yahoo Movies is here with an exclusive look at several deluxe Star Wars role-playing toys that will be available later this year to perfectly accessorize with Episode VIII.
Among the dozens of new Star Wars toys in Hasbro’s pipeline for 2017 — many of which will be on display at this weekend’s Toy Fair New York trade show — are a series of weapons and gear based on characters introduced in The Force Awakens who will be returning for The Last Jedi. You can make like Rey with the Bladebuilders Path of the Force Lightstaber ($49.99), the laser sword of choice for the discerning Padawan, by choosing the Jedi-themed connector, which will turn the blade blue. Or, you could channel your inner Kylo Ren, and rebuild your shattered lightsaber with the nasty-looking Sith accessory, which turns the saber red. The Path of the Force saber is compatible with previously released Bladebuilder connectors, allowing dozens of custom configurations.

First Order fans will be well-armed with the Nerf Glowstrike Stormtrooper Deluxe Blaster ($79.99), a motorized weapon that rapid-fires 12 glow-in-the-dark darts accompanied by light and sound effects for maximum Resistance destruction.

Finally, for the hot-shot aces who can fly anything, there’s the Black Series Poe Dameron Electronic Helmet ($79.99), a highly detailed, screen-accurate replica of the Resistance pilot’s headgear. The helmet has a surround-sound speaker system that plays X-wing and TIE fighter sound effects and communiqués from BB-8.

Aside from the toys inspired by the new films, Hasbro is celebrating the original classic trilogy. The toy company has unveiled several toys in its premium Black Series line commemorating key characters, weapons, and scenes from A New Hope (which marks its 40th anniversary this year) as well as The Empire Strikes Back.
First up is the Black Series Force FX Lightsaber line ($179.99), which includes this Obi-Wan Kenobi number from A New Hope with accelerometer and sound effects.

There will also be a collection of coffee-table-perfect Black Series Centerpiece Figures ($49.99 each) recreating classic scenes, like Luke vs. the AT-AT in Empire, complete with movie-quality lights and sounds.

Hasbro also has an assortment of Black Series 3.75-Inch Titanium Figures ($14.99 each), featuring the key lineup from A New Hope — Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia Organa, Han Solo, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Darth Vader — in action poses with stands that snap together.

And there’s also a 40th-anniversary edition of Star Wars Monopoly ($29.99) illustrated with vintage art and containing six new tokens, including Millennium Falcon, Death Star, and R2-D2.
